Yeah, I do know what time it is where I am but in here it changes always whatever I'm doing

I have a small little laptop I use now and it has the correct time on. When I write this it's 15.40pm.
I've changed the time in settings for CM and it stays as the correct time until I view a new page, then it goes back one hour.

Always one hour behind. I hate being late :p
Anyone having a clue how to solve this little problem?

Hi tiri, to my surprise you are in the same time zone as me:)

Just try to doubleclick on the time displayed in your windows start-bar, then pick
the second tab "time zone" and see if it is set to the correct one.
If not change it and it should be solved.

And check the "automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" box

I've always been in the same zone as you. You just didn't know it :)

As I said I do have the right time set on the computer and everywhere else it shows the right time, just not in here.
It's also set to synchronise so it should be the same. I'm so after my time in everything..

Well Malta is so far away i was really surprised, that you were before i knew:)

ANyway, the browser you use is Chrome, or something else?
Chrome uses your system's time, so if you set everything right there, it should display correctly.

However, maybe Malta is somewhat of a "border country" (when i am in certain places in Holland, the internet and phone providers often jump in and out of my phone/laptop so to speak:))
Which could be the issue?

Just guessing, it wouldn't seem logical..
So it it Chrome or something else your using?
And what windows version?

If you tell me i might find a solution..

It's the same no matter what browser I try. Windows 7

I think I maybe have an idea of where the problem comes from.
...I lend it from someone from the UK and the computer is from there I suspect. I changed the keyboard so I could use Swedish letters even if I can't see them on the keyboard. A tricky one :)

They are always behind me or after or whatever...

Now what to do D? Any suggestions?:D

Pfft, lol, sounds complicated!

If it's a strange bug i won't be able to help, but maybe you can tell your browser to override the Geo-location, although i am not sure if this will affect the time displayed on several websites.
To do it you must press F12 (or Ctrl + Shift + I) in Google Chrome to open the Developer Tools.
Click the "Settings" icon in the lower right corner and switch to the "Overrides" tab.
Now you can specify the exact latitude and longitude coordinates.

You can use the Postal Address finder (
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
) to know the latitude and location.

Maybe if you have set this to your more or less exact coordinates, it will help Chrome to display the correct time. you would have to try.
If you try and it doesn't work, just uncheck the "Override"

It sounds like I will leave it as it is :p

Bryan you can move this to the computer section if you want to, since it's probably not your forum that causes it.

:p

Well, if the error is only happening in CM, it could be.

This might seem silly, but there is no clock function here right?
You can only see the time you or someone else posted?
Unless that beer o 'clock thing is normally a clock? :)

I set my CM time to " Brussels, Copenhagen" etc. and set the DST below it to automatic.

When you traveled from Sweden to there, you have passed several time zones, which could be a bug trigger providing the laptop was on slumber mode.
It could be that your laptop needs a good cookie cleaning, a history delete, and a reboot.
Maybe then the changes will stick.
Try it:)

I lend it from someone just the other day so it has never been to Sweden :D
He hasn't been here today so I couldn't ask him, but you know what? It's okey now.

This is really embarrassing to say, but my internet connection went down so I restarted the computer to try and get it back.
Now I have the correct time in here  Sometimes we all need to start all over, and I just love when problems are solved :)

Thanks for trying to help D

Trying? :eek2:
If that hadn't happened you would have followed my advice i think:p

17= beer o´clock time lol

now 20:13 dinner lol
here the time is gmt

sometimes when having some online promotions i dont know very well when begin and when they end because a lot of times the "casino time" is different from mine

It's a ' Good afternoon' , here. What? No 'Beer O'clock'?;)

Btw? How is Malta treating you, Sara? Hope you are having fun and finding your way around, ok.:)

Beer o'clock-time will not come until tomorrow for me. Today is a only water day :)
If I'm finding my way around Malta? Constantly getting lost in this heat is what I'm doing.
The rest of the time it's treating me well ;)
