In poker it means that two people tied with the same hand or the game is high low where there are two winners. I am guessing that is not what you are asking though.

you might also want to consider a [chopped pot ] were in a poker turny players usually at final table get a chance to split the pot so as a equal reward or a weighted one to the remaining players should they all agree to doing so
