and for those of you not yet sufficiently confused, here's that info again but in Latin:

''Hic , vel , EGO typus meus hotstring bbb " ( quod Ligamen eats ) quod sursum pops album of ligamen ( quod I've pre - termino ) utilis in ut contineo contigi. EGO highlight unus Volo , ledo Penetro ( vel geminus click ) quod lego ligamen of text ( quod can exsisto ludicer universa ) est penetro tergum in meus text emendo area , qua ut vires exsisto. Quoniam AHK runs in background quod vigilo keyboard is officina usquam : Vox , Praecedo , hic in forums basically usquam vos vires exsisto ingressus text. Si pro nonnullus causa vos don't volo is strenuus in a proprius progressio ( vel quisquis ) iustus click in icon in Ratio Tray ( vel ledo 'Pause' ) quod is mos toggle in off.''

As for me, I fill my spare time with Zombie movies, Playstation and Poker. :)

I think Max is up for Nerd of the Month

:p :p :p

You should hear the sounds on my cell phone, all Star Trek (TOS), which I've been rewatching recently. :D I love it when an SMS arrives, the "communicator" chirp is music to my ears! :)

Max, if you can translate from the Latin to Klingon, I will vote for you for "nerd of the month":D

I'm thinking of going back to school (again) 'cause I can't decide what I want to be when I grow up and I suddenly find I have a lot of spare time. I already have an Associate in Science degree in Computer Tech. A minor degree in Abnormal psychology, a minor degree in math (need to go back to take a few refresher courses then I need 4 courses to obtain my Masters) and a minor degree in sociology. Was working on a degree in Early Childhood development when I had my first stroke in December.

I think that is wonderful! I mean all the study and degrees... I'm jealous. I don't think I have enough good brain cells left to attempt such a thing.

OH! And welcome back... need to get down to the attic and catch up....

Two titles that Max already owns if this thread tells us anything at all :D

:p (oh, and I have hotkeys for the emoticons too so there! Attach Removed (Old not found)).

As to the Klingon thing, nope, you'll get none of that out of me. But if anyone wants to compare AD&D figs I've got an excellent collection of work I did back in my Uni days.

I got to thinking :D...I have five kids, it's not hard to figure out what I do in my spare time ;).

Blog, of course..what did you think I meant?

Thank you on the welcome back. ;)
It's much easier nowadays to go back to school. They offer many courses online, which can be a blessing if you have the determination to follow through. It's ideal for me as I basically don't have the distractions of children/spouse at home and am pretty much an insomniac. In the late 80s I tutored trig, Calc I and calc II which pretty much paid for courses and books and gas to get to and from the community college I was attending.

Now I'm too lazy to make the hr drive so the online courses were a great "invention". :D My 82 yr old mother says I need to pick something which will guide me into my twilight years and will provide me with some type of financial security (thanks mom!) OR I should find a very rich husband.

I'm totally impressed that you're planning on growing up! :D

Well, what I do is read about food, cook food and eat food.

I need to learn to take pictures of food.

Tried something new for dinner tonight... made seared sea scallops, added to a salad that included mixed greens, orange segments, mushrooms and toasted walnuts, and made a dressing of pomegranite juice, olive oil, balsamic, soy sauce and grated ginger. I tried to take a picture, but the light was wrong and my scallops were getting cold, lol.

Dressing was a little thin, next time I'll reduce the pomegranite juice to a glaze almost first.

Works just fine in glass with gin and lemonade though!

So I picked "where's my lunchbox" as closest to my hobby.

That sounds REALLY good.

I have just starting sculpting with polymer clay and have to say it keeps my mind off the casinos dissapearing, but ah well, at least my money isn't. My first dog, from a square of clay.

I admire your tenacity ksech.

Chatyton and Papa-Ya - both excellent pieces of work! I'm more Autistic than Artistic unfortunately although I did used to make (not so beautiful!) music once upon a time :(

lmao just not sure what I can/will do with it all once I'm done. If I keep going I may be able to wallpaper a small wall with the degrees someday

@chayton...no worries about growing up just yet, still can't decide what I want to be :p :D

I wish I was more artistic. I've taken a few pen and ink still art courses, but unless I have something sitting right in front of me and have mega hours and tons of erasers I'm not very imaginative. I've played around with photoshop, but end up having my son finish off most of my projects as I get totally frustrated and tend to give up.

I have a girlfriend who owns a shop where you spin clay. She's constantly trying to get me to come be creative LOL. It's a lot tougher than it looks (I give Bryan a lot of credit, his tikis are great!), the few bowls I spun looked more like something a two year old made ( and they could probably do much better! :D). Thank goodness you can redo them several times until the clay decides to seriously destroy your hands (and nails :eek2:), so I ended up making several oddly shaped ashtrays LOL

papa-ya, your dog sculpture is great! There's alot of detail there.
And simmo! I bet you're a wonderful singer!!! (and yes this is how you suck up to the men in blue...)

Summer Fun

In my "spare time" this summer, having redecorated my old office extensively where all my paperwork used to be done, I am putting the room back into use again:D
