Question What happens to your casino account when you die?

I have registered and verified myself on many different Casino sites, but I just realized that I have never been asked for Next of Kin information. All casinos includes Inactive accounts in their Terms&Conditions, and will start to deduct admin fee every now and then from my account if I drop dead. Will they ever investigate if I have hundreds, or even thousands in my account when it goes inactive and try to pay out to the rightful owner(s)??

they take it off you dead or alive, i often have wondered what would happen on my demise.

You should maintain a list of all your online accounts, be it Casinos, Banking, Social Media etc, keep it safe and known to the executor of your estate or add to and regularly update your will so they can be dealt with when you've passed.

So if you win these days half the casinos want copies of everything you possess then they just SOW you anyway to delay paying.

Can imagine how difficult it would be to try get money in a dead relatives account.

Way I look at is tho if I died i couldn't care what happened to money in any accounts it would be no use to me and i would never know if anyone got it.

Sounds good. So if i have say 20 casinos accounts i put them all in will.

Then someone has to spend days trying to get information from every casino to finally find out after so much time none actually had any money in them lol.

Besides people like me don't have wills as sod all to leave to any1 lol. Next of kin gets anything thats lying around or insurance policies.

It's relatively straightforward. As the Executor once you have been granted Probate (the legal right to dispose of someones estate), you have everything you need to get access. They may require sight of a death certificate and the grant of probate and maybe your id - all normal requests, but that should be it.

You may not need it now, and it may not be for online casino accounts, but you will at some stage start thinking about your assets and what you'd like to happen to them when you're gone. Online accounts can be invisible to family members, so if you have anything of value - monetary or sentimental it's worth planning for and recording.

That makes perfectly sense in a perfect world. I guess the defenition of a structured and organized person is that he keeps on grinding Bonanza at his spare time?? NOT ;-)

It’s a job getting your money with your own ID while alive, let alone under probate.

My nearest and dearest will be sorely disappointed when they see my casino balances. :D
Depends if you knew it was coming soon: just boot Bonanza up on 20 quids on the hospital bed and watch their faces as you whittle away their inheritance; each dead spin at a time.

Suckas.

Funny thing about probate, the only thing you dont need it for is to pay a deceased persons taxes, really cant imagine
what hoops you would have to go through to extract money from casino accounts if an estate is subject to it.
Quite possible you would end up paying more in legal fees than the cash in the accounts

When the name Roshtein dies when he has left money in it means you can afford to offer all of your games at max RTP as well as offer 200% bonuses at bonus x 10 without having to worry about anything for the next few years

Note to self: In the unlikely event that one suffers a heart attack while enjoying a slot, one must withdraw immediately in order
to avoid any awkward situations for others later on.

PS One could argue that this rule does not just apply to online casinos. Oo-er!!!

Why this thread? Has there been a mass re-interest in Bonanza lately?

I suppose it's a logical question and as Neil says, any executor would need account details in order to wtihdraw any outstanding funds.

One can only hope they aren't 1668/JAZ sites in which case the executor too would likely expire before the accounts were settled.
