What Features Would You Like To See In New Slots?

Hi all,

I'm collaborating with a company creating great quality slots and I'd like to hear some thoughts You might have about features that could be integrated into new releases.

Let's phrase it like this - if You could add ANYTHING to a slot, what would it be? This can be a bonus feature type or just a general concept that You much prefer.

Thanks for Your input! :)

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!
Having thought about this further for the last couple of minutes, for some reason I cast my mind back to when I was a kid playing fruit machines - not the fancy modern ones, just the basic ones. I do miss 'hold' and 'nudge' options - something which appears to have been dropped from modern video slots. Like I say, really basic options, but just gave the player some input every so often.

I think with some modern video slots, players just whack them on auto spin for say a 100 spins and that is about all they do, just wait for a bonus round to drop in. I think with hold or nudge additions, it gives the player some hope on losing spins and something to do as opposed to just sitting there waiting for the bonus round.

Is there any reason why holds and nudges were dropped? The amount of times I prayed for a nudge while playing the newer DoA as so many scatters sat teasingly above the paylines, also wishing for a hold on the wilds or bonus symbols in IR !!!

Or like on the Golden Game (I miss the golden game :() where if you held the middle jackpot it would sometimes trigger the golden X or you would get the sequence where you kept getting £5 on the golden game until the big win came, or the oxo where you hold three O or use two nudges and the machine would do any extra nudge for a win.

Yes bring in secret features like the physical machines had, I used to love seeing people play golden game or oxo who had no idea about the hidden sequences. :)

Nudges and holds (found mostly on AWP's and 3 reel slots) were (insert any of the following)

Phased out
removed
got shot of

both online and in land based set up's

This IMO (and others I believe) as they could be used to players advantages to force the machines, force an increase in the RTP and used to manipulate the payout returns.

Bad holds, missed holds, nudging the wrong reel, refusing wins all contributed to this.

Ask VWM (if he ever comes back :p) about this on MG's 3 reelers :p

Actually there are a couple of providers that do have these old fashioned type of slots, if i'm not mistaken i even saw those steveh mentioned pass by:)
From memory i know there are some playable @ V&J's, and iirc, the providers in question are Pragmatic Play or Realistic Games, i tried one game with fun nudge functions and jackpot repeats, called Hot Cross Bunny's or something.. (i can see a few puns coming:p)

Just to elaborate on my first post, what i meant with sticky expanding wilds, was - if one wild drops in during the Free Spins, it expands and sticks, regardless of if it's a win or not! That would naturally be some insane high variance slot, but i would sure as hell go for it :p

Imagine that on a 111.700 ways slot, or whatever:D

Sky Vegas had the golden game for a while but it was not the same setup and the hidden features were not there. Oxo is still there in various formats but not the same, anyone in Torquay visit Golden Palms and the OXO and Golden Games are there, sadly only the £5 jackpot versions, the £25 were removed about two or three years ago.

i see lot of you would like sticky wilds and etc, why not correct the payout for wilds first (especially Netent)
lot of there newer slots have wilds all over but they really dont mean nothing,
as they used to in the past :)

Fantasy you say, great! - Lets get properly started :)

If all casinos I'm a member at and show some slight loyalty to over the years would like to copy and paste the following and then e-mail it to me after making the necessary "adjustments" to my account(s) - I'd be most appreciative.

Dear Jon

We've not seen you in our casino for a while and being an active rep/member also at Casinomeister also noticed that you've had a pretty shitty start to 2017 which may explain your absence.

That being said, we seriously hope that things start to improve for you in all avenues and soon our good friend.

To start the ball rolling, we've credited you casino account with a £25 no deposit bonus :D :D - Wagering requirements are just 10x and there are NO game restrictions nor any max cash out from this bonus.

To claim Simply log in, start playing and enjoy.

Wishing you the very best of luck.

PS: Keep this between us but if you hold <Shift> and press numbers 1-5 on the corresponding reels you can actually 'Nudge' the new DOA HTML5 version when that pesky scatter lands just above on a 'teaser' spin ;)

Casino 'X'

I'll get my e-mails logged in now guys :poke:

There aren't very many out there, I enjoy bonus rounds where all symbols pay scattered. The "Scatter Spree" feature in Secret Santa by MG is one that comes to mind.

But make it so the free spins can be retriggered. Anyone else remember a land-based slot called "Catch a Wave"?
