Red Flush decided to send me an unsolicited text message.
I decided to close my account with them.
Here's how it went down:

Me: Hi there
Me: I'd like to close my account immediately please.
Me: my details are XXXXX.
Georgios: can i have your user name please?
Me: XXXXXX
Me: and the reason for the closure is an unsolicited marketing text message.
Georgios: [my name] would be sad to see you leave the casino
Georgios: please note that in order to have an account closed in the casino we would require an email - the email address is
Georgios: [email protected]
Me: Why do you require an email? Can you lock the account?
Me: Hello?
Me: Hello?Are you able to answer my question please?
and, like so many CS chats, things seemed to go rather quiet after that...
I have emailed Redflush and if there's a rep here I would be delighted to hear that they've received my email and closed my account. It would also be good to know how they would treat someone who was closing it for a different reason. Would a hardcore gambling addict still have to send an email, for example? Tell me you'd lock their account!
