First Impression
Platinum Play is another case of a casino losing its determination of becoming a great casino. At one time, it was one of the best casinos we had listed in our “Reputable Casino” section – to be renamed as “Accredited Casinos”, these guys were a hit.
They were launched as a Casinomeister Mystery Casino in May 2005, a member of the Fortune Lounge group and really did quite well here – players seemed to enjoy their promotions and loyalty programs. Lest we forget, the Fortune Lounge group had won Best Casino Group of 2003, and they were still going strong.
Over time though, Platinum Play – along with the other Fortune Lounge properties – seemed to have lost their way. They stopped having special promotions, exclusive promos just didn’t happen here anymore. I figured either their affiliate managers were either just too lazy, or they didn’t care much for the Casinomeister community – which was a true shame since they had the opportunity to become something massively great – like 32Red for instance.
As the years went by, they slipped away to the netherworld of online casinos – bought up by Digimedia, moved their affiliate program to Super (ex Buffalo) Partners, and dropped from site out of our forum. What a pity.
