I am considering doing a PAB on this, but perhaps I am wrong, so wanted to get some opinions on this.

I was looking for a new place to play last night, so I decided to try Villa Fortuna. It is the only BetOnSoft casino that I have not deposited at. I was also attracted to their 300% limited time sign up offer. So I went ahead and deposited, then attempted to claim the bonus. It said that I was not eligible to claim it....so I went to live chat. After some discussion I was finally told that this particular bonus was only available to German players who registered thru an affilaite site via invite:what:

Ok maybe I did? I didn't think so....I clicked a link to get there after doing a search. Maybe im an idiot...or maybe this guy didn't know what he was talking about.

Well after looking at it a bit further today I feel like I was tricked. Just typing the casinos website into your browser you get this same sign up promotional offer of 300% on your first deposit. I most certaintly didn't click thru an affiliate banner or whatever to get that special offer. It is there for everyone:mad:

Am I wrong?

This is what I found when I typed in the web addy:

1) Limited Time Offer
10 FREE SPINS on Legends of Greece – use this code to claim: TR10FS

PLUS get a 300% Match Bonus offer up to 100€ on your first deposit –
use this code to claim: TR300DEP

Standard Promotional Terms and Conditions Apply

Looks like that CSR didnt know their ass from their elbow.

I would certainly ask to speak to a manager or try a different CSR in live chat....its all there in black and white so you are definitely eligible.

I talked to 2 different CSRs, one last night and one tonight...and they both say the same thing, that the above offer was only for German players who clicked thru an affiliate.....I see noweher that this was mentioned. It doesn't make sense.

Update - I enquired about the offer myself:

Please wait for a site operator to respond.

You are now chatting with 'Lez'

Lez: Hello and Welcome to our Live Chat service. How may I help you?

Me: Hi Lez

Me: I am about to sign up at Villa Fortune and wanted to check the code TR300DEP is valid

Lez: Would you mind waiting one moment while I access that information for you ? I appreciate your patience .

Me: Thankyou

Lez: That code is by invite only

Me: Hmmm....it is listed on your website as a signup offer. Why would it be listed if it is by invite only?

Lez: It is listed on the terms and conditions for US players only

Me: OK - when I go to 'promotions' on your website i.e.
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Me: It states:

Me: 1) Limited Time Offer 10 FREE SPINS on Legends of Greece – use this code to claim: TR10FS PLUS get a 300% Match Bonus offer up to 100€ on your first deposit – use this code to claim: TR300DEP Standard Promotional Terms and Conditions Apply

Me: It doesn't say anything about invites or US players or anything like that.

Lez: TR300DEPStandard Promotional Terms and Conditions Apply

Me: A player could be seriously misled into making a deposit expecting a 300% bonus, and then not being able to claim it

Lez: We advise players to always read terms and conditions before depositing or claiming a bonus

Me: Of course players should do that - but you have the promotion listed as a signup bonus and it is not inidicated that it is in any way restriced to certain players only. In fact, the only term that suggests this is in the standard terms where it refers to 'promotions are by invitation only'.

Me: So, why list it as a promotion when someone like me visiting your site cannot claim it?

Me: It is most certainly deceptive marketing - deliberate or not.

Me: Anyway, how does one become 'invited'?

Lez: By depositing with us ...

Lez: When you deposit the promotional team will add you for these offers when they become active

Me: OK. Well thanks for your help Lez. Have a nice day Lez.

I really do think it is a case of deceptive advertising, especially considering the bonus code can only be entered after the deposit.

Anyway, there are a few terms that put me off so I won't play there in any case:

14. The cash-in pending period at Villa Fortuna is 72 hours.

13. The minimum cash-in amount is $/€/₤150, and there is a service fee of between $0 and $30 per transaction applicable. This amount will vary dependent on the size of the withdrawal and processor used.

They also have a very vague FU clause.

Maybe you dodged a bullet here funeral

It's Grand Prive - Villa Fortuna is the casino they set up as part of the process of screwing affiliates. I was emailed to tell me that the other casinos would be closing, and would I like to transfer my play to Villa Fortuna. It was bullshit, nothing more than a means to shift players over to an "untagged" casino from the ones they had joined through affiliates.

Somebody posted about this, and was then pressured by Grand Prive to remove the post because they didn't want it known that this shift to Villa Fortuna was taking place.

Grand Prive are in the rogue pit for "unethical business practice", and deceptive marketing is an example of such a practice.

They can't even agree whether this code is for German players, or US players. Looks like they are LYING, else their stories would match.

I bet the idea is to snare the deposit, THEN make up some excuse as to why the player is not eligible for the bonus. They probably expect the player will play on anyway without the bonus, and they will at least make ONE lot of money out of them.

These guys are really starting to piss me off.

Now apparently I am bonus banned at all Grand Prive casinos. Now I never played at GP when they with Microgaming, so I don't know much about the affiliate fiasco with them. However, when they went to BetOnSoft I signed up at their casinos as I really like the software. I never had a problem with them up to this point....and always got my cashins super fast.

They have been running this promo for the past month or so where you deposit $20+ and if you claim a match bonus with it....and play for an hour, they will give you an additional $60 as a seperate bonus. Pretty good deal...they call it the Sunday 60/60 promo.

Well after being refused the above 300% sign up at villa fortuna (and my understanding is, they are not part of the grand prive group...villa is a standalone but grand prive does support for them...and apparently has same manager:rolleyes:), I decided to use the above mentioned 60/60 promo.

Guess what? No can do here either. They said I cannot claim any more promos at any GP casino or the 2 standalones that they "host" (Villa and Big Dollar) I asked why they allowed me to claim the 100% welcome bonus a few days ago...well apparently sign up offers are different...and they cannot "deny me those".

And of course I keep getting emails addressed to me twice a week with nice bonus offers from them STILL. I was never told or emailed by anyone that I could no longer claim bonuses...instead I was, surprise!, just sent more bonuses.

Supposedly I am bonus banned because my bonus/deposit ratio is too high. Well if you keep sending people free money and deposit match bonuses of 100%+.....that is eventually going to happen!!!! Duhhh!!!!! Not like their bonuses are easy to beat anyway.

They tell me to deposit and play with my own money and they well review my account. I am done with these clowns....I thought maybe they turned over a new leaf with the new software, but I guess not.

...I feel like I was tricked.
This is pretty common practice among some casinos. I have encountered this twice before.

They advertise decent SuBs on their site but only when you go to claim the bonus you discover it’s only half of what they advertised or something worse. They do this to attract customers who would otherwise take their money elsewhere. And when the casino is questioned about this they say things like; “That offer is old.”

Just make sure you have all your facts straight before proceeding, they may be innocent.

How low can these casinos get and if things cant get worse, I read this from another thread.

You can ALSO keep your account active by depositing $/?/80 and wagering it through 20X at least once a month. Again all table games and Video Poker games are excluded from wagering).

So if you do not play through 400.- a week or 1600.- per month on slots and keno only, you can never cashout?
Nice term!

Uninstall and run for the hills I'd say..

That is truely comical.....you really couldn't make up a term like that....maybe it is not enforced , maybe it is.....but even seeing a term like that in any T&Cs would cause me to run a mile

And Funeral, you were LIED to, period!
And Lez is the biggest, best LIAR of the bunch!
I have and will NEVER deposit there and I have been giving several no deposit chips and continual offers, to be punk'd by them! So how does one really get an invite... well I am in the US and I did live in Germany once :lolup::lolup:

No chance of a PAB - they are on the ROGUE list.
Shame you didn't spot this before you signed-up. :(

I didnt know they were still on the rogue list...my bad...but at any rate....the bullshit continues....

At Big Dollar which is one of those not Grand Prive but hosted by Grand Prive casinos, I got the below email....

I mean it is pretty clear, the offer was sent to me this morning, a few hours ago. They will not honor it. I got 2 more emails this morning from Grand Prive, with more offers and a birthday offer.... they will not honor those.

I mean, how low can you be??? Offer someone a birthday bonus then not honor it????
