They've shot themselves in the foot by putting it up then only to remove it within 24hrs. Could have avoided all of this negative publicity if they'd checked out the game in the first place prior to hosting it. Nobody would have been the wiser to that decision.
If you factor in Jackpot Wheels, Weekend Booster, XP contributions and so on, they probably stood to run that slot at a loss, and that's before associated running costs, tax and so on.
If only the name of the slot might have given them some sort of clue, then all of this could have been avoided.
Wow, I can't believe they took it down and it won't return. Just poor and screams that they did it purely on percentage purposes. I managed to give it a good 2-3 hour bash last night and went up £100 on 20p spins but eventually lost £80 by the end of the session so even 99% could give you a rollercoaster ride.
I guess if you were a higher stake player and it behaved with percentage, you could bump it closer to 100% with the weekend booster thrown in and that's just too much for VS in terms of margins for them.
Is that a delicious pun I see there? ?Lemon pipped me to it Makes me wonder who's job it is to accept new slot percentages if this one slipped through the net.
I thought it was Thursday hahaha my badThursday
I once came home from work, went to asleep for a few hours then woke up and got dressed after looking at the clock thinking it was time for work again!I thought it was Thursday hahaha my bad
Haha we have all been thereI once came home from work, went to asleep for a few hours then woke up and got dressed after looking at the clock thinking it was time for work again!
I fail to see why such outrage? Who lost a lot of money on the slot before it was pulled?
Mistakes can be made and they have pulled it. Since they reduced rtp they have introduced a number of ways that give us back. Those ways seem to be more in favor to low rollers than the high rollers.
Give them a break
This man knows ?I fail to see why such outrage? Who lost a lot of money on the slot before it was pulled?

I bet you Team Videoslots will avoid answering this. It would nice Videoslots that you can reply this question and would be appreciated.@Team.Videoslots since you decided to remove book of 99 are you going to compensate the players that had alreay got some progress towards the 99 books for the bonus?
Was that something that only effected new sign ups? What like the change to the weekend booster where they basically just keep some of your winnings and then give them back to you at a later date?
That was a very pro-player move.

That didn't happen to existing players though did it? My Weekend Booster still works how it always did. I think they removed it for new sign-ups and maybe jurisdictions that outlawed bonuses and promotions. And when something gets taken away something usually gets added back to compensate - Mystery Fridays being the latest new feature. What like the change to the weekend booster where they basically just keep some of your winnings and then give them back to you at a later date?

I would hate them to join the countless casinos that turned their back on the UK market. This man knows ?
If you're an online casino laying out what VS do in promotions such as -
then you might not see running a slot on 99% RTP as being cost-effective in this current hostile market. I mean, I'm just throwing it out there. You can't have high RTP's and loads of free shit every week, so a compromise has to be reached somewhere. I'd rather have promotions and stuff to look forward to - that's what makes VS different.
- Weekend Booster
- Monthly weekend slot battles with extra 5 x €250 prize draw
- Clash of Spins
- Jackpot Wheels / Trophies
- Frenzy Mondays
- Tuesday Madness
- Epic Thursdays
- Mystery Fridays
- Saturday Madness
- €30k Monthly Grand Freeroll Battle
- XP level Bronze/Silver/Gold/Diamond wheels
There's also every chance the slot could be abused somehow with bonus funds or there's a major problem with it of some sort, and that's why it's been pulled. Oh no! I'll have to play one of the other thousands of slots instead - some of which still return over 97% RTP if you look hard enough. The absolute fucking state of people in this thread sometimes when something happens they don't like. The usual suspects too. Turn it in for fuck's sake...

New players would never know about or care much about what they where never promised. It's still a change that negatively impacted players though, even if just new players.
And it's not like VS are the only casino that run promotions, there are other UK facing casinos that still manage to offer various perks without taking the axe to RTPs, which is by far and away the single biggest thing that's going to hurt player results. (We've all seen the 'expected playtime' spreadsheet, which shows how brutal relatively minor changes to RTP can have on a player?)
Videoslots wanted to maintain their profit levels in the face of changing market conditions and a challenging UK situation, I get that, but let's not pretend they decided to do anything other than have their players take the hit instead of their bottom line.
If new players don't know about it, how can they be affected by it? That's a complete non-argument; they should have joined sooner before it got taken away. It's still a change that negatively impacted players though, even if just new players.
