I don't deposit much at VS anymore, won in July and it's obviously clawing it back as doesn't matter what I play it's dead spin galore - as I said before, 9-10 months of losing, win a bit and then dead spins again for months. I wouldn't mind if I at least got some play time but it just doesn't happen so I moved on :):)

I really hate casino hopping. I hope its just me being paranoid with all the changes.

The one after the Rift. Look at the times.

All of those times shown are in GMT. We are in the Eastern Time Zone which is 5 hours behind what is shown. I see 22:15 for The Rift and the one after is 00:15 for Sweet Alchemy which is correct as that is 2 hours from The Rift. The time is in 24 hour format and it starts at 0 H and ends at 23:59. Current GMT time is 20:25 ( At the time of this post ) in the 24 hour format.

Anybody knows what is this for?
Spins on Starburst

It's been very good for me lately.
I put £20 on today with the sole purpose of getting the 750 wins in one day trophy on DOA. It was my last remaining trophy in the game. I quick-spinned it into oblivion on 9p bets and I achieved the 750 wins in less than an hour and a half. I had a few dozen wins from last night/early this morning but it still came in quicker than I expected. In that time I must have had 20+ bonuses too. My balance was fluctuating a fair bit, up and down like a stripper's knickers but I kept going because it was playing so well.

Cue my 5th Wildline of the past few months...

.
Of those 5, 3 were at Videoslots, 1 at OJO and 1 at Casumo. This was my second at 9p stake. I recorded it too if anyone wants to view it.

I've only been a member at VS since June, but I hardly play anywhere else now. I've had 1.4k in deposits and 3k in withdrawals since then, with another 300 these last few days. I've won a couple of competitions so far and had an absolute shed load of rewards which have led to nice withdrawals.

I don't play at high stakes, the maximum for me is usually 90p or 72p on DOA and 60p if I'm feeling frisky on Chilli or Bonanza. I hate to think what my stats would be if I regularly chucked 1 or 2 quid per spin at them. Mind you, that works both ways. I've had loads of 1000+x wins these last few months, wins I may not have had with higher stakes, who knows.

Anyway, I for one don't think anything has changed at Videoslots where the RTP is concerned. It's just Lady Luck and her mood swings.

Great. These are the posts that I am looking for! Thank you

Seconded @SteveBr , despite my moans and foil hat theories :o

I have just had this moment those EXACT wilds (minus the top of reel 4, it was at the bottom) on DoA

About to bust again and moaning out loud to an empty living room and in pops a 300x - Nothing more than a balance saver but enough to improve my mood slightly, for now :p

Aside from taking the lower RTP on providers that offer it (PNG), they can’t alter it anyhow ;)

If you go into the help file for PNGs you’ll see the RTP setting - not sure if other providers show it.
I am aware that they can't change it, but I did say..are they lowering it within the legal limits? With everything going on with the cuts, and the huge amount of dead spins the last couple of days. I'm getting nervous. It could be me being paranoid. I'm not above that. Lol

but..if youre aware they cant change it, then how can they lower it?

I was told by someone who I trust and have known for many years, that is in management. That rtp's can be lowered at any given time by management, as long as it's done within the legal guidelines.:)
i think that would be news to a fair few managers, providers and developers.
ever hear anything of the sort @trancemonkey , rogue outfits aside?

I'd suspect that 'at any given time' would mean, that yes, where available, the casino can go back to the developer and request a lower rtp version
I've talked to PNG also, last year, and she told me that it's up to the casino management to set the rtp's on games. That is PNG, but was also told by the other source that yes it can and is done.

yes but we know png offers various settings
the CSR's response to you stating mngment can change it, doesnt flat out state they can at will or unilaterally, it may merely mean, that yes, it can be changed...by contacting PNG and requesting a different model, or that mngment chooses the model from the get-go

Right, and that is what I was questioning. With all the changes that VS is doing to save money, was that one of the things? Was I just being paranoid and all the dead spins, were exactly that? I am a bit nervous now in depositing. I wanted to see if people are cashing out this week. And make my decision based on other players.

VS has repeatedly stated, they always go with the highest rtp setting where available.
Now, that isnt to say, it hasnt, or wont change - i should suspect if it were changed, the new rtp setting would be reflected in the file - but id wager the best way to alleviate the concerns, is simply ask VS if theyve opted to change their policy and have, are in the process of, or intend to, choose different models, as part of their new restructuring

id think basing your deposits going by others' cashout only as of recently, would be a poor indicator, as you cant know other players' cashout threshold, and a few peeps in CM would be a poor sampling - a few ups, or downs, wouldnt be a real indicator simply because of well...randomness/luck

ex if three peeps said, yup, piss poor week....you couldnt know 3000 other players hadnt had a fantastic week

Or educate myself on what providers only have one life time setting and stick with those games.

another reason it would be a poor indicator, is due to other persons' playing style
some may attack low var games at min bets, some may attack HV games at high bets etc - there's simply far too many variables
of course, it still pays to watch a 'general consensus' over time to see if there's anything...askew

Management at VS, Sit by the magic switch, waiting for you, Bebo to log in.

They see what game you load, then flick the switch to the lowest RTP.

Obviously this is not true, (or is it?)

But while they are picking on you, they are forgetting to use the magic switch on me, Getting plenty of playtime with the odd cash out thrown in.

Big sigh. Oh Gaz, what would life be like without your sarcasm, and delightful whit! Because..yes...I said that they were " picking on me". But, I am glad to see that you are having good play time, That is the info I am looking for, but shouldn't take to the bank :P

I know BTG and NetEnt have only 1 RTP version of all of their slots, and i think that goes for Yggdrasil as well. Getting a lower RTP version would require another expensive license. Both BTG and NetEnt said they would rather spend the money on making a new game, instead of changing the payout of an old game.

I personally think slots are being compared to normal games, where developers can buff and nerf whenever they see fit. Combined with a bit of sellective memory of ye olde glory days.

If you think they are lowering the RTP then check the help pages where the RTP must be stated.... the operators can choose any of the RTP settings the game comes with. But the RTP needs to be stated (certainly on uk facing sites). Whether they change them on the... It's possible. But given most only have RTPs between 92 and 96, and are very unlikely to just throw in dead spins to achieve them, you almost certainly wouldn't notice very easily.

ok so now I am pissed

Understand operational costs, understand cut backs, read the recent VS team posts.....

But seriously c'mon

Dead or Alive video slot - 0.09p spins!!!! :what:

First it was 100 FS, chopped to 50 FS (Win 10,000 times)

Now all I get is a £5 poxy BATTLE TICKET! GRRRR! after lots of spins and a little something to look forward to, pure nonsense!

I just hope, almost on bended knee here when the "Complete All" updates, my rage is not increased ten fold!

Rewards soften the blow of losing streaks, or they USED to, nowadays, it is like adding insult to injury, :(

Hi guys,

We are looking deeper into what is wrong with that 00:15 battle.

@spoo42 keep a close eye on the thread and you will not miss anything. :)

@Jono777 sorry to hear you did not like the battle ticket but I do not think you've received the reward for the complete all trophies yet since you will get more free spins there.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.
