*******THIS IS VEGAS POKER CASINO NOT JOKER SORRY TYPO************

After extensive analysis of your *********** account, it appears that you have on a number of occasions taken advantage of the goodwill of the Vegas Joker

As a result, the Vegas Poker Casino felt that it had no other option but
to lock your account and deny your respective winnings.

These decisions were taken only as a last resort and were enacted in
adherence to the Vegas Poker Casino terms and conditions.

However we do not wish you to experience any financial loss as a
consequence of this decision, so as an act of goodwill your original
deposits have been refunded.

We regret to inform you that we cannot enter into negotiations with you
over this matter and thank you for your understanding.

Kind Regards,

Jody

Ive always stuck to the t&cs and have won a couple of times here. If they dont want me to play they could have just banned me yet they want to steal my winnings. I always thought microgaming casinos where reputable. If i had lost i doubt theyd be returning my deposit and banning me.....

Can you help me Brian??

Thanks

Thomas

Ok, Ill have a go.

IF what they say in the quote is true, and I dont doubt it, it says basically
OK, we gave you a bonus and you won, now we dont like that. Heres you deposit and dont come back again

There is quite a lot of complaints about this casino group at the moment. From the other thread it looks like Bryan is endorsing the casino's stance, saying there has been 'fraud' in some cases, although definitely not in all, as this email makes it quite clear, they just decided to steal your winnings because even though you followed the rules they just don't really like people winning, and prefer to steal your money. However, surely he won't agree that they can just confiscate your winnings when you win, given that the casino chooses who they send them to, makes up the rules, and solicits the deposits with not just one, but often as many as *three* emails urging the player to take advantage of the bonus.

E.g., I got an email today from them:

Every once in a while Vegas Poker Casino decides to honour its greatest players
with special presents. The Management is delighted to tell you that you have
been chosen from thousands of gamers to receive this exclusive offer.

As a mark of our gratitude, we want to inform you that we have
credited your account with a free $15 gift. In addition, we are also offering you
a magnificent 100% match bonus up to $100 on your first single deposit
between Wednesday the 30th of August and Friday the 8th of September (GMT)!!

But if I won, they might go back and look at my play and decide that I hadn't lost enough or something, *even though they are begging me to deposit and play with them*, and claiming I'm one of their greatest players.

Is this acceptable?

Of course, there might be something else going on here, but my reading of this email is that they are just taking winnings from players for no other reason then they wanted to steal your money.

And look at these words: "so as an act of goodwill your original
deposits have been refunded". Can you imagine somebody stealing 350 pounds from you and then giving back 100 pounds and saying: as an act of goodwill i return you this money!

I suppose the original poster is somewhat lucky considering the fact that in my case the casino didn't give me my deposit back (and i didn't even have a time to make one bet before they locked my account on the "wrong currency" pretext).
It looks like this group of casinos invented a new system for dealing with the players online. They offer bonuses and then-

a) Player loses the bonus and his deposit
b) Player wins and then his winnings confiscated
c) Player deposits and his account is locked before he starts to play and deposits confiscated

There is no chance to win here, only lose ,lose, lose...Reputable casino? Is it what they call reputable casino these days?

I am baffled. If there are acts of goodwill from the casino, eg ND bonuses, why cant the player take advantage of them and win money. If it's related to match bonuses, just tell the player that he wont be getting any more of these but before this is conveyed to him, all winnings and deposits must remain intact and cashable. No matter what is happening, this group cannot use the 'fraud' excuse and apply it to everybody. I pity the casino rep here ie Vegas VIP Lounge who has to deal with an increasingly agitated crowd but with such inept CS at home, they must clean up their act in-house before confidence on them returns.

I agree, assuming the initiating post here is truthful and tells the full story this would appear to be a flagrant breach of trust on the part of the casino/poker room.

By now the management should know that simply returning a deposit when you have locked an account is not good enough - all monies owed to the player ito of the promo T&Cs must be paid and then lock him or her out by virtue of right of future admission.

Unless there is something here that we are not being told but has influenced the casino management's decision, I believe the casino owes this player more than merely his deposit.

I agree. Timtim, please PAB and I'll get a response from the casino to see what's up.

Request for Account Details

Dear TimTim

Could you please private message me your account details so I can look into your case.

money gone, i assume. i actually cashed out a no deposit bonus and a similar reload to posted and deposits back was my only option.

I've resent the complaint.

I wouldn't get your hopes up since this casino group clamped down on several groups of bonus "Abusers" and fraudsters back in August. I'm guessing they pegged you as one of them.

Some of the players (some of whom were posting in the forum) were committing fraud, but others such as yourself (I'm assuming here) were probably nailed for "abusing" their bonuses = hospitality.

Hopefully I'll get a reply this time. Your complaint was sent to them on the 12th of September. My POC never got back to me on this.

How rude of this casino to think that this entitles them to treat a player as though they are something the cat dragged in! Worse, they even choose to ignore Bryan (or they are spectacularly incompetent at dealing with player issues).
eCogra is probably the only way forward, but this type of behaviour seems increasingly common, even with reputable casinos.
If they are NOT indicating fraud, they should pay the last withdrawal, and mark the player's account not to receive further bonuses.

I have uninstalled all casinos from this group now, although I never had an issue with withdrawing and getting paid, there is too much "smoke" here, and I don't fancy ending up in the fire!
