I received one of the usual weekend promotion from almost all Vegas Affiliates casino, a 20% bonus.
Also if I usually play without bonuses I almost always read the T&C. The most of the times they're vary funny, from the perspective of a former lawyer like me...
In this case I was touched by the following passage:

"The continuous promotional abuses from a number of players have forced the Management of this Casino to introduce the following rules on this promotion:"

I think this can represent a good opportunity in order to have from some VA representative an official explanation about what makes one player a bonus abuser. :D

Hi Padanian,

I believe that question would need to be replied to by the casino group itself.
(Vegas Affiliates provides affiliate marketing for the Vegas VIP lounge group, and is not involved in casino operations)

A rep from Vegas VIP lounge will get back to you shortly on this one.

Thanks for your patience :)

Dear Players,
Thank you for giving me this oportunity to answer this question.

I would like to state, the following on behalf of the Casinos associated with Vegas VIP Lounge (of whom some are also associated with Vegas Affiliates)

"The continuous promotional abuses from a number of players have forced the Management of this Casino to introduce the following rules on this promotion:

A bonus abuser (stipulated guideline by the casino) is considered someone who is in direct violation of the Terms & Conditions (the FULL version) associated with any promotion or bonus offered by the casino. It is made very clear, should you read it in full that there are strict guidelines relating to this issue; having said that, the Casino Operator has the right (and duty) to consider each case presented on its own, and treat each case presented on an individual level.

The following is the simplified version of what/whom is considered to display characteristics of the term bonus abuser:
1) A person who is trying to claim the bonus/promotional offers more than once by signing up with a different account.
2) More than one person from the same household signing up for the bonus or promotion.
3) A person manipulating or altering his/her information to obtain the bonus for a second time
4) A person who repeats this behaviour systematically
5) A person who opens more than one account with the casino
6) A person whos account had been dormant and tries to claim certain bonuses again - failing and then opening a second account
7) Anyone who is in clear violation of the terms and condition and repeating this action continuously
8) Any person who makes the maximum deposit with the intention to only use the bonus as a play-through and withdrawing the deposit as soon as the promotion/bonus is allocated! (This rule applies to the weekend 10% bonus in particular!)
9) Any person who tries to cash out a bonus/promotional offer without any other activity on the account
10) Any person in direct violation of the terms and conditions as stipulated.

In general, the abovementioned will result in your account closing/locked and you will be informed of the reason for this in person or via e-mail. The term bonus abuser is a very broadly used term to indicate behavioural characteristics such as someone being unforthcoming until evidence present itself to reveal the true nature of the situation.

All the terms and conditions are reviewed on a regular basis by the Casino Operators, and as such, neither Vegas Affiliates nor I have any control over this!

I do hope that this answers your question, and please feel free to contact me should you need any future assistance.

Kind Regards
Adri Sinclair

Bonus Abuse

It's good to see an honest reply as to what patterns of play are not acceptable to the operator. However, Vegas Partner Lounge offer a bonus with every deposit, so it is a breach of clause 9) every time a cash-in is made. This is almost like admitting that winners are not permitted. All the other clauses are more straight forward, and relate to possible attempts to claim more than a player is entitled to.

2) and 3) are slightly worrying though. if I moved into a new house I could have no idea what casinos the previous occupants had already joined. I could join in good faith and be treated like a fraudster - and gain a bad impression of that particular group. Even within the same household, people do not usually share with others their gaming activity. Under UK law it is actually illegal for an organisation to release such information about a previous, or another, occupants gaming activity without express permission. The only possible course of action is for a prospective player to E-mail the casino, giving his/her full details, and expect an honest response from the outset as to whether his/her custom will be welcome under any offer they intend to avail themselves of. Unfortunately, most only undertake this action after the player has won something and wants it out. This is shown by the many stories of the casino 'happy to accept my deposits when I lose, but steal my money as soon as I win'.

Dear Vinylweatherman,

Thank you for your input on these matters and it certainly is great to see participation and given an opportunity to explain!

Please know that all of the points made are guidelines. We certainly view each situation on its own merits. (IMPO - Life often gets in the way of a well thought out plan!)

Regarding guideline 2 + 3: We do have a system in place to accommodate these particular situations. As long as each player acts responsible and inform us of the changes to their address etc, this can be smooth unfortunately most players do not think about this until they want their winnings; this cause delays but can be sorted out!

Admittedly, we are all human, and no matter how sophisticated technology has become, we do make mistakes from time to time. This causes delays and is very frustrating for players and agents alike. We strive to improve at all times, but we cannot do that alone and do need the help and input from players.

Although we are prevented (and rightfully so) by law to make available certain information from players, it does not stop us to use this information to establish legitimacy of claims relating to certain information given by that and other players.

Regarding guideline 9:
Please do not see this as us being unwelcoming towards anyone. There are (as you pointed out) many promotions and bonuses available and you are most welcome to use one or all of them! What we ARE saying though is that you cannot just request bonus and proceed to cash in that bonus! You need to comply with the T & Cs (Minimum deposit, Wagering etc) of each one of those promotions.

I apologise if my wording on that left you wanting for a better explanation, and I do hope you understand the intention on our behalf better regarding this point.

Again, thank you for giving such an constructive feedback on this. Please feel free to contact me should you need any further information!

Kind Regards
Adri Sinclair

vegas vip is hands down one of the very best professionally-ran outfit out there!

notice their definition of bonus abuse does NOT target anyone who constantly plays WITH a bonus, they're only targeting players who: open multiple accounts or never risk their own funds

imho, as long as you're willing to risk your own funds and be honest you will have no probs with this group

i'm quite satisfied with this group and recommends anyone else who likes microgaming give them a try, i have never been given an hassle and my cashouts were always received within 3 days, and most of the time you don't even need to send in your id :D

**for cashouts over 2k expect to receive a request for ID verification though

i can't comprehend this run-on precise enough to determine if you're a bonus abuser or not, but grammar-abuser leaps to mind

** hello vedat! I don't think you would be considered a bonus abuser... IF i understand your writing, you are saying that you merely change game-plan after taking a promotion untill you get to the wager requirements.... and LIKING to win does not make you a bonus abuser... Also, you say you like taking out $800-$900 and keep depositing untill you can do that.... Again, IF i understand you correctly, you should be a VIP!!! *smile* **
