Good.
He also has 9 tax related charges hanging over him which could add years to his sentence :)

We'll see what happens with the sentence hearing. I think media reported it would be in 8 weeks.

US prison inmates have their own code of justice, they don't like cops and don't like those incarcerated for hurting women and children.

Yeah, its the same here (guessing its the same pretty much everywhere)
Those in jail for violence/abuse against children/women are considered scum by their fellow inmates.
They have their own pecking order, and those sort of crimes put you at the bottom.

That was a weird laugh, actually weird might be underselling it a bit.
But at the same time calling it a 'complete meltdown' is overselling it a bit.
Lets meet in the middle and call it a partial meltdown.
:)
I agree. He always seems to give a very weird outburst of concerning type laughter that is not in tune with the convo.

Tucker is on right now with Victor Davis Hanson. I only caught a little of what Victor said but I expect Victor to get some heat from the left over it.

Whenever I read a Yahoo article I expect it to be a load of bias bollix.

This is an indication of why the media are so in the pockets of big tech and those willing to prop them up

yes I don't put much credence to their news updates, to think they had a headstart on google regarding the internet iirc, and the name was quite catchy and easy to type.

I believe every word he says here. The double standards and shear stupidity of these Dems and the media is astonishing and puts America under unnecessary jeopardy

the rise of violence cannot be so simply explained.

violent crimes, murders, and shootings have been on the rise since 2015. Last year in particular was really bad. Why?

It’s not one thing like scaling back. Or blm riots. How about that the USA is armed to the teeth.
the pandemic.
the great disparity between the classes

Hannity’s reasons are there to fit his narrative.

That quote below is all you need to know about Sean hannity.

  • Sean Hannity described Adam Toledo, who was killed by police last month, as a "13-year-old man."

No one is trying to dismantle the police. It’s not that simple.

Guess the right-wing is really bored or something. First they're really obsessed about Clinton for like 20 years (still are). Now I'm sure they'll do recounting for 2020 election for another 20 years.

I can't remember any good ideas coming from the right-wing in a long long time that would actually help the ordinary people. I'd love hearing mack's, slotplayer's and geordie's thoughts about it. What good ideas has the right-wing suggested in the past 10 years?

There are different elements to the 'right wing', from ron paul to paul ryan, two tucker carlson right wing ideas would be bring home the troops and production and manufacturing jobs. Ron paul less government rather than more.

I think 'conservative' is a better description than right wing, and 'liberal' for the left, but now after decades of liberal social policy and neoliberal economics we're in a bigger mess than 30/40 years ago, that's under both political parties, in uk and usa.

Being in finland or europe I'm not sure you've experienced the extremes of it, more violent crime, more poverty, worse education, more debt; technology, and other things businesses produce have improved which gives the superficial appearance things are better.

Don't know how this less government helps. Can you give me a concrete example what you mean with less government? Less regulation? Just gives more freedom for businesses to do whatever they want. Texas showed why this less/no regulation can be a really bad thing. Regulation is there to protect the people.
Healthcare won't get better with less government. Neither will education.

Conservatives keep giving money for the rich people and making the wealth gap worse. That itself worsens poverty situation. And that leads to more crimes.
Don't even talk about the debt :P Bringing troops back home and still pouring money to military. Giving huge tax cuts for the rich. Budget deficit was becoming much smaller until Trump took the office and then these conservatives started spending like crazy.

I wrote Ron Paul but meant his son Rand, the government waste a lot of tax money is part of the theory and also boss people about, it's a spectrum, under the soviets everything was about following the govt's rules and essentially run by govt, so the further you go towards that model the likely worse things become.

what do you mean texas showed why less regulation is a really bad thing?

If you fill kids heads up with a load of pc nonsense and blame culture [and removing discipline] while not teaching them the basics, it doesn't matter how much the govt spend on doing it, the end result will not be good.

Applying ideas from small countries like ours probably isn't going to touch the sides of solving long-term complex issues in a huge country as the US. We have got similar problems in the uk but on a smaller scale, our politicians and brightest brains haven't been able to solve them.

Trump did increase the military spending but after all the engagements and conflicts since 2000 perhaps that was due to happen anyway in order to renew and restock the equipment/capability, I'd be surprised if Joe cuts the level of military spending and diverts that money to free healthcare or something similar.

Texas' powergrid/water systems were screwed 'cause of a little snowstorm. Because republicans didn't require those businesses prepare for such events. Businesses were able to save money and people died.

Russia's government is quite different since it's really not a democracy. But when you talk about less government in countries where you have real democracies...saying less government means less power for the people and more power for the businesses imo.

"If you fill kids heads up with a load of pc nonsense and blame culture [and removing discipline] while not teaching them the basics, it doesn't matter how much the govt spend on doing it, the end result will not be good." This part is a joke really. pc nonsense and blame culture? What do you mean with that exactly?

Rand Paul is a really smart guy. Spreads Covid though he studied medicine (money well spent for education there). Voted for huge tax breaks and huge increases for the national debt and he's basically anti-science.

It wasn't due to happen. They had a choice. They chose to spent a lot of money for the military. Trump also wanted to spend more money for nukes. Maybe to nuke hurricanes.
If they wanted...they could've spent less money for the military. Who knows what Joe will do. Too conservative for my tastes but so far has done a good job.

oh I see what you mean re Texas, I don't know the ins and outs there, whether dems were calling for that eventuality to be covered and reps said no way. can we say for certain it was from a lack of govt, or just bad govt or even a freak weather event that was very unlikely...

democracy means you have real alternatives, one party is not a democracy, and whether you liked him or not people felt Trump was offering a change from the washington dc establishment consensus.

I think you know my point about education, children need to be taught to think for themselves and learn the basics as best as possible, but I suspect the teaching time is being spent on less productive things, in a discipline free zone, which won't help them when they leave school.

Rand paul is an intelligent good guy, inquisitive regarding 'experts' and open to debate his own opinions and ideas.

Is this still a 'live' thing with potential to upset the applecart???

It is being touted that Trump insisted on invisible watermarks on ballot papers which are detected by ultra violet light and they are using them.
Is it squeaky bum time?
