URGENT: US Players - 48 Hours to withdraw via ACH from Microgaming Casinos

I'm cross-posting this along with the regular forum but thought it was important enough to do so, it might help someone from having their money stuck in limbo.

I'm am fairly sure this applies to all Microgaming casinos (it does to at least three of them, all from different groups).

Check withdrawals are NOT an option at the moment, apparently because the check processing firm dropped them. Apparently one firm handles all Microgaming checks(?)

ACH withdrawals ARE an option, but only for the next 48 hours (unexplained reason).

So if you have any pending withdrawals, I would call the casino immediately and see if you can get it changed to an ACH withdrawal.

If Bryan or somebody with inside connections can shed any light on this it'd be much appreciated.

Thanks for the post. It is very timely and I will wait for any info. I was just thinking of making a small deposit to a MG casino but I suppose it would be wise to hold off now.

:eek2:

You're right!

You are in fact correct. I had/have $700 in my poker account with fortune lounge. I initiated a withdrawal via courier check yesterday for $500. I was just informed by VIP support that withdrawal by check is no longer possible, and it is not possible to withdraw via ACH in Microgaming poker accounts at all.

I then requested that he transfer my funds to one of my casino accounts so that I may do an ACH. He told me that this was impossible and hung up on me.

VIP, indeed. I was nothing but polite and nice, either so I get the distinct impression that I'm outta luck.

One other option, I guess. Find an honest Canadian that will allow me to lose it all on one poker hand and let him/her send me a check. :icon_twis

Anyone besides me hearing a fat lady warming up her lungs?

Freakin Great! I just got my netspend card today too. i don't want to give up online yet, dammit. Oh well, every week I don't play online my B&M budget gets bigger, FEK!!!

Crap. I had conveniently mental-blocked the fact that I have balances in Microgaming poker sites. Hopefully it's a temporary thing.

I wish Canada wasn't so damn cold!

I'm starting to wonder just how much 'selective hearing' I have too, Chalupa.
Stuff is starting to slide over my head and I do try to read everything here. If this doesn't shake out in a couple of weeks I'll post an option here if I can find one or make one.

btw...Me and the girl are looking for a wee animal, is your chihuahua gonna have kiss puppies?

A few more data points...

Golden Rivieria Poker
- Live chat said they can only do CHECKS (not ACH). I hope that is true, I quickly requested a check.

River Belle Poker
- I have requested an ACH withdrawal, no response yet to my e-mail query about whether it will go through.

Royal Vegas Poker
- E-mail response said they can only do EcoCard, period.

Ugh.

Further update...

I signed up for an Ecocard account and tried to withdraw from Royal Vegas Poker, and there was no option to select that as a withdrawal method!

So I called phone support and was told Ecocard is only for *deposits* and that ACH is the only withdrawal method available to US customers. This is in direct conflict to the e-mail I received, but oh well.

Further, phone support said Ecocard is the ONLY method for deposits for US customers, that not even credit cards will work. I don't have great confidence in that being the truth, but that's what they said.

In any case I now have ACH or check withdrawals pending from every Microgaming site that had a balance, casino or poker, 7 sites in all.

My gut feeling (or perhaps it's just wishful thinking) is that "pure" poker sites like PokerStars will be more likely to work around US restrictions and those sites are the only ones where I'm retaining any balances.

Perspective

Ok, I've got around $1100 tied up in this mess, so first know that I have a dog in this fight.

I have heard from an impeccable source that we will all be paid. It may take longer than you or I would like, but it will happen. Weeks? Months? Nobody knows, but as I understand it the casinos and the poker rooms <MG specifically but not exclusively> will find a way to pay us and I assume find a way for us to continue funding our accounts. It is simply a matter of finding a way to make both happen.

Sorry, can't divulge the source and won't. I will say that were you to hear the name, you would share my optimism.

I think that we should all take a moment to think about how this whole thing affects everyone in this industry. Some of us have been in contact with, made friends with, and perhaps make their entire living here. Think about this when you talk to/correspond with the customer service rep who doesn't know what will happen to their job tomorrow.

My personal opinion is that were I not able to collect my balances, it's really nothing when you think what your job is worth to you and your family. Of course, that's just me.

I have gained far more than what is owed to me monetarily, in friends gained and in experiences. I want my money, but I won't explode if I don't get it.

I also believe that this will be resolved in time and will be more easily available to us.

I guess that my message is to do all that you can as I will and am doing to collect what is mine, but kind of approach this with a sense of balance. We can't control the events, but we can do the best that we can.

Some confirmation that the ACH window is closed... at least one of the sites I tried to withdraw from screwed up and didn't do it quickly enough, and here is the result. This e-mail excerpt is from Golden Riviera.

-------

Please note that due to the new legislation that has passed in the U.S. against online gaming and due to banking restirictions set in place by the U.S.A. that we unfortunatley no longer pay you via check, or via ACH transfer, as these options have fallen away as a result of the above. We were notified yesterday of this. We do regret. All checks that we have tried to send to our Players, have been returned by their banks.

Please note that the only withdrawal option currently available to U.S. players is only Click2Pay, and this is provided that you already have an existing account with them, as they too, are no longer accepting any new account registrations from the U.S.

Please advise if you have an existing Click2Pay account so that we can finalize your withdrawal request. The only other alternative is to wait until we can find an alternative payout solution, which we are doing our best to try an alternative around this matter.

Has anybody successfuly deposited a wdw check during the past week?

I was just wondering because of this and the thread about bounced checks. Any recent experiences with Grand Prive checks?

AAAGGH... Royal Vegas contacted me saying my ACH info was "incorrect". It of course was not, that was doublespeak for "we screwed up and missed the withdrawal deadline".

I am totally disgusted with them as I had rushed to get them all required information and documentation requests, and my withdrawal was supposedly going through last thursday before the friday deadline. Unfortunately this is one of my larger withdrawals.

The current happy picture...

Thank you for contacting us with regards to this matter.

Please note that, effective immediately, we are no longer able to process withdrawals via check, ACH or any other method.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused; we can assure you that we are doing our utmost to secure alternative payment processors.

Good News (for me at least!)

I have just recieved an ACH for $500 from Fortune Lounge (Pokertime) in my bank account.

I left $200 w/Pokertime for fun and in hope that this mess is resolved at some point. $200 isn't a big deal for me, but $700 buys a buch of nice things for my bride!

I've still got $400 tied up w/Netteller. I don't expect to see that anytime soon...If ever. I'll remain cautiously optimistic, however.

I'm sorry to see that some of you have not been successful in withdrawing in time. I don't know what might have happened...Clerical error on either end is possible, I don't know. I really have to believe that FL has their eye on the big picture and wants to clear everyone's account as is appropriate. It just makes good business sense in any number of ways that you look at it. I have a hard time believing that they are manufacturing reasons to not pay individual players.

Anyway, I wanted to get my story out, too.

Black out on Cashouts

There will be a complete black-out soon; while they are figuring a new way.

I missed the ACH window by a couple days. The money is now stuck in the Casino: (MG) Casino Action group. They can send it to Ecocard but I'm not so sure Ecocard can wire it to my Bank now, I'll have to check into it. Problem is, Ecocard could say they could wire it to me, then once I start the process I'll get an email saying "Sorry, due to new U.S. laws ...blablabla etc. we cannot wire the money to your Bank, our only withdrawal option" . I could shift it around the Casinos through Ecocard but couldn't bring any of it in.

Oh well once I've played it up to 5 figures, I'll hop on a plane and collect it by hand. :D

The last thing I was told is that Ecocard is NOT a withdrawal option, only a deposit option. Have you been told otherwise?

Also Ecocard is not shown as a withdrawal option in the cashier, at least not in the casinos I've checked.

You are probably right. A current issue I'm now arguing with customer service. Casino Action Purchase-on-net support department claims, they can withdraw my money to Ecocard. Ecocard is supposed to be 2-way. No fees to and from Casino. They have one withdrawal option and thats Bank wire, back to your Bank. But today, God knows what !! Maybe many Casinos will not withdraw to them. Maybe they can no longer Wire back to us in the U.S. . I'm not sure.

CS has forwarded my arguments to the manager; I'll find out and post here on it. The way things are, even if Purchase-on-net can send my money to Ecocard today; tomorrow, I'll discover they can't wire it to my Bank !!

This email just in from Purchase on Net (Casino Action) :

Thank you for contacting Purchase on Net.
We are looking into further transaction methods,
We apologize but at this time we suggest using Eco card for transfers.
(end)

Well, thats their last word on it. I figured Ecocard would hold out the longest quite a while back and signed up an account. But some Casinos may not allow the cashout side of it.

Also Ecocard is not shown as a withdrawal option in the cashier, at least not in the casinos I've checked.

I saw a message from 400 Affiliates elsewhere saying they were paying affiliates via Ecocard so it must at least be possible.

For US affiliates, we are able to pay you via EcoCard. If you do not have an EcoCard as of yet, please sign up via (

We are also currently adding a number of other processors for players and affiliates. Here is a recent list of what is expected to rollout in the next 1-2 weeks.
