Tried to use the betbuilder, bet £10 pre match, get £5 in play bet free.

For about the 10th football match in a row, I find my account is limited. Bear in mind I've never won on football there that I can remember, other bets have been limited to 13p, 57p etc, but today takes the piss.

Too scared to take a single penny on a 19/1 bet. How on earth can these take themselves seriously. A joke firm.

@Unibet Rep
you advertise £10 pre match with a £5 free bet, how do you get that if you don't accept £10 bets.

I also played about with the odds, did one that was around evens and max stake was £3.84, whats your max liability on a £10 bet, 80p or something.

This casino's full review is over here

Team VS after reading this, round about now

This is why if I want to have a decent bet on a horse i will tend to do it in a bookies rather than online as I can walk in with no questions asked, plonk my cash on the counter and bet, plus they will do guarantee the odds as well. I now a few friends who have tried to got £50 or £100 bets on a horse online and they have been limited to a tenner which is a nonsense.

Pulisic scored the first goal. So that side of it went to shite, but looks good for the 2.5+ goals...
I tried a few bets, and all were the same, or I think the best one was £1.01 for a 7/1 chance.
I can put £20/£50 on these sort of bets all day on unaccredited or rogue casinos, who payout (like Coral, Hills etc) yet a supposedly 'top' firm are scared of a £200 payout ffs.

First time that I have read this. That is shockingly shit. Is it in any way related to you having your own sports betting website and that scared them for some strange reason?

I sent many messages to unibet rep for different reasons. Nothing crazy. But their chat support is useless and sometimes dangerous. I mean they will lead you in the exact opposite direction or terms and will close chat when they realize it. Emails exchange 2 or 3 days for each responses. The only
promo they offer? Wagering in geo blocked games.
What is even worst? They are still a very good casino. Just worst pretty much evwrywhere else

Nice of the Unibet rep to comment after reading the thread.....

No offence, are you new to sports betting? it's common for this to happen. I'm limited across most of sports bookies and i'm no major winner. It's nothing to do with Unibet, every single one of them does this and not because you're winner it's for different reasons.

Just go elsewhere or use the exchange.

And also what do you want the rep to comment on?

You're one of many thousands this happens too, it is no big deal and a industry standard. They don't want winners, nor shrewdies who take 6/1 on a 4/1 shot. They do not have to take your bets just like a shop doesn't have to serve you.

Just a bump as if we have a rep which I’m lead to believe we do...

Then a response would be nice, if we don’t have a rep then by all means as you where folks..
And nutnut, back to bonanza pal, that 14100x win is waiting for you!..

bonanza is not getting me back mate. least not for 4 more weeks as my accounts timed out

Well technically you are correct but then it begs the question, why even bother offering a sports book. I mean, they have top mathematicians producing these odds so let's not pretend that the casino is at any particular disadvantage.

Of course you'll get shrewd punters but these will be balanced out by the reckless and the punters who just bet in hope without any particular knowledge...and believe me I know a few.

You're also correct with your shop analogy but again, it'd be a bloody strange business model to turn custom away.

Also are we supposed to have a rep?..

Not that strange out yourself in their shoes.

You got 1000 customers losing £10
And you got 5 other customers taking £100 off you

Random situation I know, but take it at face value why would you still want those 5 customers?? You not a charity, why give them some of your money?

It makes total sense to me, it's annoying trust me it pissed me off but they have the right to do it and makes sense too.

Right and I fully understand books etc, but I'm not one of those 5 customers. I rarely bet on football, don't think I had a winning football bet before they limited me in fact, the bets I have tried to place have been on big betting events, premiership, champions league that type of thing. There is no way my customer profile should cause my football bets to be limited to £0.00 on a 19/1 treble.
So how does it make sense?
I have done thousands of football bets at Coral and Skybet, with quite a few winners, and can get £100 on without a problem, but can't even get 10p on a 19/1 bet with Unibet, where I've never won a penny. Yep, makes perfect sense.

If I was trying to get £500 on a Norwegian 3rd division match to end 3-2, yeah I can understand why that would be refused. I would completely understand my racing bets being limited, in fact I'm surprised they haven't (anywhere except Ladbrokes).

Maybe the rep might comment if I threaten to complain to the ASA for offering a bonus that can't be claimed, as it's impossible to bet the £10 required.

You say use the exchange, firstly I have to pay the premium charge, so thats a waste of time, secondly, which exchange accepts bets like that?

dont use unibet or 32 red for sports they both suck for it. They are good for gaming though from my experience.

At a local Belgian bookie I'm that limited if I try to put €2 on a x2 odd they will refuse the bet and lower it to x1.8, then I might be able to put €2.20 on...

I know it's kinda counter-productive but I've lowered many an odd like this whilst not being interested in backing it, actually wanting to back the other side of the H2H bet  I always hope someone else picks up on it and backs it then. If they want to use me as a free resource for their bets I'll fuck with them too.

Not saying your limit makes sense I'm saying it happens all the time. For example my girlfriend account is not limited I have won more on it, but mine is. None of it makes sense. But they have every right to do so.
