After hearing so many people so happy with Unibet, I decided to jump on over and throw £200 for a welcome bonus, everything was going fine, I deposited my money and went to play, expecting the bonus money to be there, ready to play.

It says £200 cash £0 Bonus, so I load a live chat and they tell me that there is no 100% bonus? (Its on the homepage?!?!) lol, after 20 minutes of messing about I am told that there is a "licence" issue and that the "tech department" need to fix this and that they will email me later today to sort this.

Anyone ever tried to claim the sign up bonus there? Things like this really bug me, I just wanted to deposit, grab a bonus and then dive in on the WMS slots lol.

Not sure what to do really, considering just withdrawing the money, have saved the live chat as they really do seem quite unhelpful.

Moan over,

hopefully they can still turn it around and just add the bonus :)

My fault though, should be sitting out, soaking up the sun on a day off work!!

Just trying again with their live chat, as still not had an email, still not getting anywhere. It has taken them 10 minutes for them to tell me that..

Graeme:
We are sorry to hear of your issue. If you don't mind waiting, we will check this as quickly as possible for you today

After 15 minutes of waiting lol...

Graeme:
Thanks for waiting today. Unfortuantely, there is a slight technical issue with your account since you registered on Unibet.com rather than Unibet.co.uk. In normal circumstances, our international customers who register on .com are not entitled to a welcome bonus since this is a UK only promotion. However, since you are in fact located in the UK, we have escalated your account details to our bonus team and we hope to have this added for you within the next 24 hours.

:eek2:

That's rather poor IMO, if you visit unibet.com and go to Casino Black, the promotion is there on one of the main banners.

If you click on the banner, it does however redirect to the sign up form at unibet.co.uk

Do you remember how you navigated to the sign up page rob?

Overall I think Unibet are a great casino, their payout times in particular are superb, but the CS isn't always.... brilliant.

Serves me right, for venturing away from Jackpot Party! Just fancied a bash at something different. I have read on here that many people are happy with Unibet, i guess no company is 100% perfect. I remember typing unibet.co.uk, however it seems to navigate to and from the .com website at various stages like you say...

to be fair rob , theyve just had a big update across there site , so maybe thats why your getting this kind of hassle no doubt they will add your funds ,best of luck

Assuming you started at unibet.com, did you click on the promo banner to get to the sign up page, or simply click on the new user registration button?

Mind you, I've just tried that myself, and you get a massive great banner in the middle of the screen promoting the bonus, and the address bar clearly shows unibet.com!

Hopefully the Unibet rep will be able to help you out on this one rob, I've had a few encounters with Unibet's CS via both live chat and via email, and I'd be lying if I said they were awesome. Friendly and attempting to be helpful they are, but not necessarily accurate and/or following up on what they say they'll do.

It seems their CS has dropped the ball here and TBH I don't think they should leave you swinging in the breeze for 24 hours, seems like a very sure way to piss off a potentially good customer IMO.

Thanks, will give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being, owing to a few days off, fancied a punt. I'm sure they will refund my deposit if i requested it?

Been bad luck for me recently Chops, cant even win on a £500 match at JP with a x10WR, still I will be giving it another crack on Thursday, Lux all the way this time on £2.40 stakes, I want AT LEAST FOUR diamond pots. :p

I'd expect they would, but TBH I'd stick with it and give the WMS slots a try at 96% RTP, they're a very different experience IMO. (Of course they can still be nasty, but they don't have that 'terminal suction' capability that they have over at Jackpot Party on that horrible 92% RTP.)

See above :)

Since I've got into the WMS slots at 96% RTP, Jackpot Party haven't had a look in, basically.

Just received an email with an apology, saying they have successfully added the bonus £200 :) whoop, off to play some WMS slots on 96% :D

Don't go nuts stake wise, they can still have some nasty dead patches, especially when you get into the medium-high variance slots..... :)

I got sorted as well.
And my WD arrived today...bout a day, not bad...ty Uni

Did you get a bonus? I deposited 3 times and got nothing.

I play there because I can play NetEnt in CAD but they start to get on my nerves. First we got IP banned from their WMS slots, and now it appears that people that aren't from the UK can't get any bonus? Not happy.

I didn't play WMS either, but can't hold that against them - cant play wms anymore anywhere with the IP block in place. But I liked the dorky-ass Hoff and Little Britain which arent much floating around.
No, I meant Dave sorted my ID for me, so WDs were good to go.

I remember signing up at Unibet like 2-3 years ago. They promised me a 100 % sportsbook bonus when I made a deposit of 50 euros. To my surprise I never received that bonus. I even e-mailed customer service back then and didn't receive any reply to my bonus claim. I eventually betted that 50 euros on a game and lost. Since then I haven't visited them again of course and moved on to other online casinos/sportbooks who do fullfil their promises.

So I guess their customer service department is kind of emberassing.

Perhaps they've gotten better - I don't know, but he was pretty quick getting back to me.
There is a unibet rep here:

I'm down to £300 of my £400 bankroll. There's an excellent selection of slots here, everything 'feels' right, if this site got on top of the customer service and sent out regular promotions then they would definitely be visited by myself. The WMS slots play a lot nicer than at JP, however it just don't seem right not having that chat and the progressives, I guess I'm just a sucker for the whole JPP concept. 30p stakes all the way chops!

JackpotParty really need to up their game now and get an even bigger selection of fresh WMS titles, maybe up their RTP on the base games. I wonder how long until the lux slots start cropping up everywhere else?

Below is a shame. Enough to put me off playing at Unibet anymore  Would be interesting if a REP could explain why. I will try get answer myself and will post if I can get any

Please note that customers residing in the UK and Ireland can no longer use Neteller and Moneybooker as their first payment option.
For the first payment they would need to use other alternative payment options such as bank wire, credit card or debit card.

Sorry just quick quote on my own post. By actually reading it through again. I understand this is only regarding 1st deposit? :p

Unibet has been generous to me as far as the WMS slots are going. I've just had 3 hours entertainment at min stakes of a £50 prize from the Little Britain draw promotion they had on a few days ago. I've still got the £50 in the balance and a good solid 3 hours entertainment. I likey.

I know how you feel Rob. the last 2 £500 matches have been dire for me, that last one I didnt even make half way through wagering.
I staying well clear of lux, that was the main reason I havent been successful on the bonuses, just eats hundreds and certainly seems tighter recently.
No doubt I'll get another one sent through tomorrow but not sure whether to take it.
However, its a good week to take it, as you can get( as a VIP) 20% back on losses (10% back as VIP and 10% back on the weekly promotion)
Deposit £500 and even if you lose all £1000 you get at least £200 back

The LUX slots are truly insane and whilst I can see the appeal of them in one regard, that 'double progressive' kick in the face they can deliver if neither LUX or the JPPs hit, makes them off-the-scale dangerous in my book, especially since you need to play at £2.40 per spin to avoid the potential agony of 'mis-picking' on a lower stake.

The fact that it's possible to bust out on a 10xB WR says it all IMO, the RTPs at Jackpot Party are just too damn low and they give too much over to the progressives, doubly so on the LUX slots.

(And even the 'full' RTP is only 95%, which looks a bit mean when it's pretty easy to find 96-98% slots everywhere else.)

When I first started playing the WMS slots at Unibet I did miss the 'JPP potential' a bit, but then I remembered it was something like 27,000 spins since I'd last seen even a 0-star at Jackpot Party, and it passed :)
