My translation from russian language:
"Only two hours Europe was able to receive gas from Russia. This morning Ukraine finally agreed to continue delivering gas to Europe. It would seem that "gas war" is finished. But today in 1:00 PM Ukraine has changed their mind and stopped gas delivering. From planned 76,6 millions cubic metres of gas, Europe received only merely 1,6 million.
Ukrainian government almost immediately posted an absurd explanation. According to this document, if gas would immediately sent in full volume - ukrainian gas pipes would immediately broken.
- Does Ukraine has more intelligible explanation? - russian prime minister Vladimir Putin asked Aliaksei Meller (Gasprom president).
- Me don't have any explanation of this fact - Meller replied.
Meller also showed Putin, that according to their system (in Gasprom), pressure in gas pipes on "russian side" is equal to 70 atmospheres. But on "ukrainian side" - zero. The rest of 76,6 millions cubic metres of gas, which was in pipes, aslo disappeared.
- It means, that Ukraine simply cut off gas delivering, and all gas was stolen - Meller said.
European observers agreed, that Ukraine had no rights to do this."
From my side I just want to add, that in this time Belarus is the only one contry, who delivers russian gas to Europe without delay. Belarussian gas pipes are overloaded, but work in design mode. I think, that doing this way, Belarus proves readiness to help our european neighbours not to freese. Hope we help you.
