UFO 'filmed for 40 minutes' by Chinese scientists during solar eclipse

Could this finally be it - 40 minutes of undisputed proof that we are not alone?

Scientists at the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing, China believe it is a real possibility that this footage of an unidentified flying object is the evidence we have all been waiting for.

They have confirmed 40 minutes of footage of the object was captured during this summer's solar eclipse - and that research has already started on a year-long investigation to find out what it is.

I still believe we're alone in this part of the galaxy. UFOs are merely time machines from our way distant future. This is why they rarely land (no stepping on bugs please) and why they disappear so quickly.

Bryan, let me know the next time you go to Lake Isabella and that evening I'll point out the UFOs that visit Trona and Death Valley .................... and they don't land cuz they don't have to. :)

Okay - I'll be there the second week of November :D

But I'm serious. :eek2:

Sorry man, I thought you were kidding around there:), in that case then...you could be correct...but I would certainly hope that their cloaking device would work better than it has the last several years if in fact they really don't want us to see their craft, but then on the other hand, maybe they do.

I do agree with you on the part about being alone in this part of the galaxy. I too think that if there were more of them out there and they did in-fact reside in this part of the galaxy, then we would see more evidence of them, more often. Our milky way galaxy is so huge it is now believed by scientists to be consuming one of its neighbors in a dramatic display of ongoing galactic cannibalism. The study published in the Astrophysical Journal, is the first to map the full extent of the Sagittarius galaxy and show in visually vivid detail how its debris wraps around and passes through our Milky Way.

So this could be one explanation of the time travel wrap that would allow them to get here...

UFO-ology is just a cover for Demonology, as UFO scholar John Keel suggested. He said, I abandoned the extraterrestrial hypothesis in 1967 when my own field investigations disclosed an astonishing overlap between psychic phenomena and UFOs The objects and apparitions do not necessarily originate on another planet and may not even exist as permanent constructions of matter." In other words, much of this phenomenon is spiritual...and not so kind to humans.

One of the things that always intrigues me about UFO pix is their consistently bloody awful quality.

And these blurred and indistinct images persist to this day, despite the massive advances in even amateur photographic equipment technology, which you would have thought capable of delivering at least one or two pix that look more substantial than an ink spot!

Yea, I totally agree Jet. It seems that at least 98-99% of most all UFO photos are this way although Rusty and myself have managed to find a few that are less blurred and fuzzy but still to this day, like you say, it would seem that with the high speed photography equipment available out there on the market, we could get some that were high quality.

I would almost bet the farm though that our friends down on the northeast coast of Florida or the boys in Texas have some that are much clearer though..;)

IMHO 'UFO' means 'Unbelievably F***ed-Up Observation'. Under this definition I believe whole-heartedly in UFOs. ;)

As we all know, UFO stands for " unidentified flying object" so if a flying object is observed and filmed, and the onlooker is unaware of what it is, then it is a UFO. It doesn't necessarily mean its a craft from another planet. I believe we are not alone in this universe and I have to laugh at sceptics having a go at blurred photos or trying prove every bit of evidence is fake that appears. After all, how many millions of people throughout the world believe in God? And not one blurred photo or shaky hand held video of him!

... how many people have seen God?:D

By then it's usually too late to break out the video camera, or so I've heard.
