U.S. Players, 3Dice, and OKPay - Too much of a PITA IMO

After readying up on 3Dice, I decided I wanted to give it a go. Their site still shows they accept Visa and Mastercard. Wrong.

3Dice live support told me due to changes they could no longer accept Visa or MC. 3Dice person in chat room recommended I use MyPayLinQ, OKPay, or moneylinewallet.

Did some research, and the only one I felt comfortable with at all was OKPay, but I read some horror stories in these forums about getting verified. You have to get verified to make a deposit.

So I sign up even realizing they may take up to 4 business days, and this was the weekend and you know people in the US gotta have it now ;).

So second business day I get the dreaded denial email of Insufficient Proof of identity with 2 vague reasons:

Identification information in your OKPAY account profile does not correspond to the documents you uploaded;
Identification documents are invalid, incomplete or illegible.

Well I uploaded them a color, 600dpi scan of my driver's license, and the zoomed scan is easier to read than the damn license. I checked all the data entered and it all matches my DL. I know other people have run into this, and the most irritating part is they can't just spell out what the hell the problem is so you can remedy the situation.

I responded and told them if they can't tell me what they need then close my account.

In my opinion with the current U.S. situation it is not worth the time, trouble, or risk to go through these third parties, and then be stuck with horrible customer service/support.

I would save a lot of US players time and at least put a note on 3Dice that they accept US Players, but not Visa or Mastercard and it could take days or weeks to get approved by a third party assuming you don't feel the terms or fees are too much.

Probably for the best anyway. With the way the DoJ is systematically attacking these payment processors that still take U.S. funds for casinos, I would imagine more and more people are going to get some money stuck in limbo. Whole thing sucks

three dice is a unique casino in every thing they offer [ im a very happy member there ]

you make a a very sweeping post that is negative i think you should absorb more of what is the real situation as a USA based player looking to play world wide and thank 3 dice as well as the rest of the CM casino's that go out of there way to help you (impatient's is a terible thing to die with)

OKPay Support Resolved the Issue VERY quickly

Yes I was in a bad mood, AND OKPay denied my ID for some vague reason the first time in a boiler plate email thus doing what I assumed would happen based on some other posts that basically sounded like random denials due to poor customer service. These were my assumptions, and I did experience what I feel was a mistake and poor service by using a template response.

They just pushed every button as few as there were in this case.

I am please to announce that the next day, today, I received another email from their support group stating that my account was completely verified. YAY

I'm not sure if it had anything to do with my email response to their initial denial. I asked that they either explain what exactly was wrong with the ID I provided or what they specifically needed, or they could just close my account.

So I'll give them points for the quick fix, and still assume someone in support was in error and on second look they realized everything was in order. I know sh*t happens and hopefully this doesn't happen often to other new accounts.

I apologize for my rant, and I'm going to be trying out 3Dice soon :p

I would think though that many of you from the US would agree that it is a royal PITA, and very time consuming researching every site, though limited, reading every word in the Terms, including the payment and deposit options and their terms. Some of these sites make you jump through hoops just to find a link and then they have terms on top of general terms, and some of them don't tell you jack until you register and then you find out they don't support the US.

Casinomeister has made this process much easier with all the information on this site, but terms change, eWallets recommneded last week might be shut down or no longer supporting US.

Anyway, I hope OKPay can keep supporting the US and expand that casino support :D
