Folks,
Normally i would be delighted with these screenshots but i have a bit of hassle and in need of anybodys advice.
I was born in Scotland and have a UK passport but i have lived in Ireland for nearly 20 years. When trying to withdraw from the casino i have failed verification due to country restrictions. Now i am aware UK residents are not accepted but Irish are so i feel the casino is just trying to pull one over my eyes.Has anyone else played at True Flip and have you had troubles with them.

You should definitely take this up with them. Presumably you have been able to verify that you’re resident in Ireland and playing from Ireland?

True flip casino...
I’ve just spoken to them via live chat.
they insist U.K. players are not allowed and are checked upon verification. They asked for your details, obviously I don’t have them.

why don’t you Do what I did there in mere minutes, ask the questions and post the casinos reply on here mate.

then we can take it from there and see how we can help you.

If they let you play then ur not restricted I tried from U.K. it’s not possible to make an account log in or play contact them every way you can to inform them where ur from stalling tactic?
I spoke to them via live chat In minutes without making a account. Live chat is super responsive.

When i signed up you had to verify e-mail,phone and was asked to start verification so it asked for pic id so i sent in my irish driving licence and my passport and also asked for a selfie so did so via webcam.
I then played a few slots and was lucky early and had my 30 euro deposit hit over 800.
Tried to withdraw and then had a few different reasons via live chat what the problem was.First selfie wasnt clear and photo id was not clear so i sent them via live chat again.Tried to withdraw then received the new message regarding the we do not accept players from your country bit.Spoke to the guy at live chat again and he said he would get back to me by e-mail and i am still waiting for that.As you can see here it quite clearly says resident in the terms and conditions.I have my usual proof of address and bank details but have not been asked for and will not let you upload anymore documents due to verification failure. Will let you know how i stand once i hear back.country.jpg

Well just an update,no update too be honest.Waited on chat support for 15 mins then was told again they will contact me by e-mail with the solution.
Sounds like this will be dragging on and i have a horrible feeling it will not be in my favour.

If it's not in your favour, you can try and do a PAB here, or complain to the licensing authority. Sounds like they're just a bit confused in the live chat however.

Good news is that they are allowing my withdrawal but account is going to be blocked.

Hi!

Please be informed that you may withdraw your funds now, but after that your account will be permanently blocked, as players from your country are not eligible to use the Website and play its games.

Thank you for writing!

So boys and girls do not get caught out like me.I checked their terms and conditions and as i am a resident of Ireland i thought i was quite ok to play regardless of my nationality.
Hopefully it will be paid soon and i will just move on and be even more stringent when joining a new casino.

Aye. A good result, if not ideal. I’d suggest taking it further if there weren’t better places to play out there. And at least you won’t have to go through that rigmarole again.

Well believe it or not my withdrawal is in my bank so fair play to them for paying it and so quickly.
Just do not wish to go through that needless crap again.
Funny thing is if i had just sent my driving licence only in as proof then this would not have happened.

Greetings!

First of all, let us congratulate you on the big win, and thank you for your interest in our platform!
Unfortunately, we don't allow British citizens to play on our website. It's not about what country you are a resident of, but rather about what your nationality is. The platform is accessible from Ireland, this is why you could easily open your account there. Though we had to close your account after discovering your citizenship.
Thank you for understanding.

If you claim to represent this casino, you need to contact the admin @maxd or @Casinomeister with proof of the fact in order to make your status official. Until you do, any further posts will remain in pre-mod. Thanks!

Thank you for your reply and as i say fair play to casino for paying me.
I will point out again if i had just sent in my Irish driving licence the casino would not have been aware that i was born in Scotland or not.
I accept the casino's decision to close my account although i do not agree with it.

That's all a bit weird. The casino terms usually say 'players located in xxxx country are not permitted to play'. So if you had a UKGC license you would prevent all the EU migrants resident here from Spain, Poland, Portugal, France etc. from playing? Well, actually you wouldn't, because until they were KYC'd you'd have no clue aside from their names possibly.
If you are resident in a country which is allowed to gamble, surely it's irrelevant where you were born? It's about location, not legacy.
The only issue I could agree on is if MrBig still had a UK address on his documents, which he apparently doesn't. At least you paid him, but I cannot understand the logic of closing his a/c.

It is strange Dunover as when i read a casino's terms i am almost sure it states residents of perticular countries.
So an Irish citizen is allowed to play but not if they live in the banned countries.
I just do not want anyone else to have the same issue.Although the casino thankfully paid me and fast some other casino may have decided i broke some rule and not paid.
I have just gone back and read the terms from Flip casino and at the top it clearly say's resident's but at the bottom says people from these countries cannot play.

Yes, it should be residents and if a resident the words they use would be 'from these countries'. It needs clarifying as they have nuanced the word 'from' in different ways.

We understand you, but we should respect the law and terms of the licence as well.

I think the issue is that you've misunderstood the law and the licence. It's not the jurisdiction you were born in, rather the jurisdiction you are resident in (and playing from).

If your interpretation of the licence is correct, all of the other MGA licenced casinos are in for hefty fines!

I requested a withdrawal so I can describe my experience.
I opened an account about a week ago, immediately after registration I quickly executed and passed the Kyc with the webcam.
I took advantage of the three welcome bonuses, the wager oscillates between 30x and 40x just for the bonus amount.
The amount is divided into real balance and bonus balance.
However, the real balance is used first and only if it is used
the bonus balance starts counting the wager.
So, as happened yesterday, having exceeded 600 euros using only the real balance (my goal) I was able to withdraw immediately the real balance (including winnings) by canceling the bonus balance (about 70 euros).
Payment was processed in 2.5 hours.
During the game I was positively surprised by the automatic control of the casino both on the slot playable
and non-playable and also on the maximum bet (2 euros) with the active bonus.
In both cases the game is blocked with a pop-up that which clearly explains the reason
so you don't have to worry, if you have a bonus, to play slots that you cannot play
or to exceed the maximum allowed bet.
The chat always answered me very quickly.
Good variety of games and interface very simple to use.
Very positive experience for me.
Regards.

Dear Jhonson90,
Thank you for your feedback.
Our live chat agent was glad to speed things up for processing your withdrawal request as soon as possible.
Just want to let you know that the number of games available on the platform grows as we connect more providers, so if you cannot find your favorite game there one day, please let us know. It might become available if we have it connected and if it's not restricted in your country.

Unfortunately, after a great start, I now have withdrawals that have been stopped for more than 24 hours and no one answers in the chat.

Dear Paolo,

We are sorry for the delayed response in this thread. As we have told in the other thread, withdrawals may take up to 48 hours (except for cases undergoing a security check). Yours were processed within less than 48 hours regardless the high volume of requests that we have been receiving over the past 10 days. But even so, we are actively working on reducing the withdrawal time even in such cases.

I'm happy with you, so no problem.
The thing I like most about you is the bonus,
the real balance is used first and if you are lucky enough to win you can
withdraw immediately without having to do any wagering.
You have also increased the list of providers so you remain a top casino to me.
You just need to improve withdrawal processing times.
Best regards.

Dear Paolo,

We are glad to know you enjoy the platform. We understand your concern and are already working on improving the withdrawal processing time. Most of all, it is affected by the number of queued withdrawal requests at the moment.
Hopefully, your next withdrawal will be processed faster.
