Tried Land Casino For The First Time In 9 Years

Was at Rama Sat. the night was comped. Only been once before which was March of this year and been getting free hotel offers since, so took up the offer.

It's a relaxing place compared to Fallsview and was surprised how empty it was. There was a crowd but 1/2 machines empty so had a great choice. I only played $200 and played 2 hours. Food was great 6 or 7 restaurants to choose from. The rooms are huge and easily can sleep 6.

Received August offers so again booked the hotel but instead 1 night free I got 3 and was able to do Fri to Mon. This is awesome I booked it for a mini-vacation with friends as your allowed 5 guest to the room. Will not waste all my time at the slots but will do local things. Will go to Wasaga Beach for a day as well and check Orilla out etc.

I rarely go to land-based casinos but the number of comps I received for playing $200 out beats what I been getting at Videoslots were I have deposits 20 that amount in the last 6 weeks. If CasinoRama keeps giving me comps like this I will certainly become a reg. Love getting free hotels stays. I also received food comps and shows so thanks casino Rama.

Can't really say the slots played worst or better compared to online this time around but did have a good time.

As my title says. NEVER EVER AGAIN!:laugh:
I'm laughing and it's not even funny. $400 gone with a half hour.
I will stick with online. [email protected]. You're stuck with me. The grass isn't greener on the other side. I cant believe how expensive it is..........
In Macau casino patrons rarely play slots as they are almost certain to lose. Correct me if I am wrong but land-based casino slots are touted to have a much lower RTP than online casinos. It is normal to lose. In Macau and other floating casinos my understanding is the rtp is less than 70% and I learned that through talking with people from the casino industry. Heck they dont even list the rtps. I reckon its better in the USA and UK but still I guess the RTP is low. Strictly for money's sake even-money games is better. Baccarat and BJ are the games with the lowest house edge.

I heard the word on the street from casino rama employee is they are doing a hotel stay bonanza to try and get people to come in as they are really hurting supposedly. WOW 3 nights in a row they let you do that? Ya that's great to do a mini holiday. :)

Yes and I was surprised I was able to do as well. I called to confirm and it's a done deal!

I heard since Gateway taken over it's gone downhill apparently the comps been drastically cut and the slots tight as you know what and customers see this so many not going or not going as much. I certainly don't see that from what I got but like you said its probably to get people back. Again greed ???? Even an employee at the restaurant that I struck up a conversation with said it's not like it used to be, fewer people and far fewer winners compared before Gateway took over.

Will be interesting when they build the new casino in Wasaga beach as it's only 1 hr away how that will affect Rama.

Tell you the truth I believe the best days of gambling was when the mob ran Vegas, maybe they should have left it alone lol

I went a few month ago but didn't play as I was out for tea so I just walked around just to see if anyone was winning anything.

Not one person had a decent win, the highest I saw was probably about $100 :eek2:

I am not even tempted to play them although they have the best looking slots with great graphics but no winner not often anyway :(
