lol, yeah, it's just rains and winds, and frankly, with the plus 100 weather we have, it's a blessing.
the smashed table sucks - not exactly in the funds budget buying new summer gear at end of summer - there's worse things, more a bummer and a summer crimp

It's supposed to "cool off" to the mid 80's, (what is that? high 20's Celsius)woohoo, that's not my idea of cool, lol.
lol, just means to 'lessen' what's expected....like, 'ooh, don't stand so close to me, you're crimping my style'

Dang hot this way - a ghastly heat wave. The rain did wonders today to make it bearable.

Well, it's probably more a 'weather patterns COULD lead to, MIGHT become' etc, rather than a 'likely to'..but anyway, went out back and found my table with the glass all smashed through..damn winds and rain
That storm started when I was almost home. I walked in after work, sat down and the power went out.
It was still out almost 3 hours later when my brother showed up. By then I'd showered, had something to eat and fell asleep.
I'm on the 12th floor so it's a good thing the elevators run on emergency power. Two of the ceiling lights stay on in the hallways too.
I was wondering how they'd feel about an extension cord running from one of the hallway light sockets down the hall, through my kitchen, into the living room and behind my computer.
