Gambling Article Top 5 Slots In The UK?

With the exception of Cleopatra (the original from 2003, not today's abomination) - for me personally they are all crap lol.

Cleo was the very 1st slot I played way back then and most session were spent solely on this game, great times and even losing sessions were s-l-o-w losing.

The rainbow riches choice I would guess derives from their land based popularity and well, as for starburst.....

BoD is a players fave everywhere but way too volatile and too many dead spins for my personal liking

what do you think about the games listed here?

Why does your "Top 5 Slots" only list 4 games...?
<edit> Ah! I missed Fishing Frenzy cos the title is small & un-bolded!

Personally I've never been into the Rainbow Riches franchise, don't like Starburst, haven't played Cleopatra for about 10 years and Book of Dead is too high variance for me. Never played FF.
But what do I know? If the stats say they are the most popular UK games, then who am I to argue!

The reason most of the slots on that list are there is because they are the low volatility and/or low payouts which are given to entice punters to play on most sites. Rainbow Riches and Book of Dead can both be used to use up any remaining bonus balance money as they can be played at as little as 1p,this may even apply to Cleopatra too? They are not all 'favourites' but just the slots that people use up balances on or use small deposits for.

Not quite sure how Fishing Frenzy gets on the list but DOA and Bonanza dont, depends on the criteria
used to gauge the popularity I suppose. If its total revenue generated the old classics mentioned will
have clocked up a lot over the years. If we are talking the most popular game in arcades,it would have to
Bar X, hateful game but they made a hell of a lot and it had and still has tremendous staying power.

Rainbow Riches :puke:
st*rb*rst :puke:
Cleopatra :puke:

All 3 have been heavily advertised on casino adverts in the UK for quite some time now, so i can imagine many who are new to online casinos - especially fans of the land based RR version, seeing these adverts, then signing up and grinding their giro's away on the first two. Theirs probably a fair few people who have been playing nothing but st*r*urst for the past 5 years after seeing the endless adverts, still thinking that one day they will get a screen full of bars.

Quite simply, Book of Dead is one of the best slots ever made bar none. IMO of course. The simplicity of it, no glut of bells and whistles...just a slot that does what it says on the tin.

Essentially, Play n Go took an already popular slot and made it slicker and improved general gameplay.

I don't disagree with you at all and its probably the one slot which deserves to be there. That said, the fact it can be line and coin adjusted also makes it popular when using up pennies at the end of promotions.
