They explicitely stated that I was locked because of a matching surname.

My surname is shared by many thousands. I sent my docs and now they request an explanation from me.
Of course i answered exactly that : my surname is shared by thousands who obviously don't live with me and that's all the explaining required.

What do you guys think of that?

That's Bullsh1t, and they know it. It's a stalling tactic because they are investigating you for fraud. There is no way they would lock you SOLELY on a matching surname, there would be a number of other matches that they would take to be multiple account fraud, such as a shared PC, or shared deposit method account numbers.
Best bet is to PAB as Tila is newly accredited, and get the truth out in the open.

My account is reactivated, so it appears that either it was indeed locked because of a matching surname or the Casino misrepresented the real reason.

Either way, I think it is deplorable.

What, that they unlocked your account? :D

You need to understand that for every legit player, there is a fraudster. Most casinos are vigilant in protecting themselves and sometimes will do things that seem out of whack.

I see your point but would you recommend a casino that did this to you and you had to endure a painful amount of e-mails just to get your account re-opened just so you can play there when there are thousands of other casinos not doing this kind of thing?

I would not..

Locking account because of a common surname is a stretch.

Where did evoid say he/she sent a painful amount of emails?

I think blocking based solely on a surname is ridiculous, of course. However, there could be a number of other factors involved.

Ultimately, the account was reactivated so whatever it was probably wasn't that serious.
