I am happy that This Is Vegas got Rogued.

Thank you Max and Bryan.

I think Rival owners will take a small breath there and think what they could do?

If TIV would pay the 80 grand, they would be in bankcrupt.

Some another user had problems with them?

Played with free holiday chip today and made playthrough but they refused to cash out via QT because my last deposit was made via CC. Then I had a miserable chat with a CSR that had no clue. What a fall from grace.

thry just officially announced a change of name from TIV to TIR. no prizes for guessing what R stands for.

Nice try - but now Bryan knows he can update the rogue pit to reflect the new name:p

The old Crystal Palace casinos tried the rebranding trick, but it didn't fool CM members.

In the case of Rival though, a rebranding is often what follows when a white label GOES BUST, and gets taken over by Rival themselves - this is worth checking out. Many Rival white labels have effectively surrendered control to Rival, rather than formally going bust, so it is not always obvious.

The GOOD thing though, is that Rival have stated on record that players will be paid by them in the event that a white label leaves debts owing to players. This could land them with an $80,000 bill, or egg on their faces.

The moral of this story is not to bet big at small corner store casinos who cannot afford to pay.

I feel really sorry for the punter who got done over by this dodgy casino. It's every online gamblers worst nightmare and does terrible damage to the Rival brand. However, astonishingly Rival don't seem to care.

I have a trusted source that tells me Rival is going under.
Perhaps someone like Jetset could do a little digging and find out if my information is truth or fiction.

I emailed This is Vegas about a month ago and simply put it to them that; "They should rightfully be jailed." For what they done to that guy.

They would never get away with it in real life, why on the internet?

They haven't "got away with it" here either. These actions are destroying the credibilty of Rival as a brand, NOT just the many rogue operators.

Whilst TIV (or TIR if you prefer) is in the rogue pit, the ENTIRE STABLE of Rival white label outfits have been downgraded to "not recommended" because of the constant issues at a number of them, and the "look the other way" attitude that seems to come from Rival itself.

They are of course protesting, but THIS time Bryan is going to need more convincing, after he was let down in the Summer when some argued that it was unfair to brand ALL of them as unreliable just because a significant number had caused problems.

Oddly enough, the most vociferous protests came from 21 Grande, which turned out to be one of the WORST offenders this time around, for confiscating a win from a player for meeting the terms "too exactly".
