We came across this strange site outside our local restaurant in the Czech Republic today

It is actually a Czech record for the most amount of REAL hens eggs with Easter decorations on; 44,858 eggs in all.
(Though I didn't count them to check!)

I suppose it's similar to Germany when I lived there; decorated boiled eggs are put on the bar at Easter along with a bowl of salt to dip them in while you drink your beer?

That's cool! There's a German guy who decorates his tree (trees?) and I always thought it would be awesome to see. I saw an interview with the people a couple of years ago and they were saying that each egg is uniquely decorated, and no two are the same.

Anyone here seen it for real?
