EXACT same scenariohappened with my gf account, banned after rainbow promo and winning £100+ even though as you say was not even a free promo.

luckily my account not bonus banned but it will be next time i win. there loss as they got 99% of my deposits due to those promos and i lose most of time

I think with the WH promotion it is a Night Owl promotion so I think you can only opt in between 2400 and 0600. So it may only appear in the banner between those hours. That is what it says in the terms and conditions which I did manage to open.
