I write this in response to the thread "Videoslots shouldn't be rated @ 9.7" found here: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/videoslots-shouldnt-be-rated-9-7.70970/?t=70970
When I first saw that thread, I was going to post my negative experiences and why I won't deposit at that casino, until I realised it was praising Video Slots.
I was feeling nervous about posting anything negative on Video Slots because it was so close to Casinomeister's yearly awards and I didn't want to affect anything. Because of this I was going to wait until the year was up, but the awards still haven't been given out yet. Another reason why I was silent is because there seems to be a lot of Video Slots supporters and I know from past experience that you get screamed at by the members who like the casino.
Video Slots shouldn't be rated 9.7, but much lower on the scale. Don't get me wrong, I think Video Slots meets the standards to be accredited as they don't seem to be robbing players or doing anything else seriously wrong. I'm not venting after losing either. I've made a few deposits and one withdrawal, I haven't lost anything significant, I've lost about $100 all up.
Let me list the reasons in order of seriousness, why they shouldn't be highly praised/rated:
- I won a bonus from free spins that their T&C said had a play through of 40 or 50x. Through testing the play though turned out to be 400 or 500x. I contacted VS showed them the evidence; they agreed with it and said they would look into it. I followed up on this issue multiple times; no response - and no compensation.
- I see players *mistakenly think* that Video Slots introduced the max bet limit because they think Video Slots cares for players. That's wrong, the way it was before was generating too many complaints and people stopped depositing. Video Slots cares as much as it affects their own bank balance.
I was playing slots and had insufficient funds to make another spin so without closing the game I made a $30 deposit, and the page refreshed. I hit spin and it took 1/3 of my deposit! The bet amount had refreshed from 20-50c/spin to $10/spin. I went straight to support and they said: "Too Bad!"
I think I got lucky losing 1/3 of my balance as some of those games will wipe out deposits instantly; take Energoonz for example, that has a $40 bet option about a half a cm away from the spin button.
- Staff have poor English, clearly it's a 2nd language to them
Based on my experience, this is not a top notch casino as they have too many small problems and too many small problems can = a big problem.
