I write this in response to the thread "Videoslots shouldn't be rated @ 9.7" found here: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/videoslots-shouldnt-be-rated-9-7.70970/?t=70970
When I first saw that thread, I was going to post my negative experiences and why I won't deposit at that casino, until I realised it was praising Video Slots.
I was feeling nervous about posting anything negative on Video Slots because it was so close to Casinomeister's yearly awards and I didn't want to affect anything. Because of this I was going to wait until the year was up, but the awards still haven't been given out yet. Another reason why I was silent is because there seems to be a lot of Video Slots supporters and I know from past experience that you get screamed at by the members who like the casino.

Video Slots shouldn't be rated 9.7, but much lower on the scale. Don't get me wrong, I think Video Slots meets the standards to be accredited as they don't seem to be robbing players or doing anything else seriously wrong. I'm not venting after losing either. I've made a few deposits and one withdrawal, I haven't lost anything significant, I've lost about $100 all up.

Let me list the reasons in order of seriousness, why they shouldn't be highly praised/rated:

- I won a bonus from free spins that their T&C said had a play through of 40 or 50x. Through testing the play though turned out to be 400 or 500x. I contacted VS showed them the evidence; they agreed with it and said they would look into it. I followed up on this issue multiple times; no response - and no compensation.

- I see players *mistakenly think* that Video Slots introduced the max bet limit because they think Video Slots cares for players. That's wrong, the way it was before was generating too many complaints and people stopped depositing. Video Slots cares as much as it affects their own bank balance.
I was playing slots and had insufficient funds to make another spin so without closing the game I made a $30 deposit, and the page refreshed. I hit spin and it took 1/3 of my deposit! The bet amount had refreshed from 20-50c/spin to $10/spin. I went straight to support and they said: "Too Bad!"
I think I got lucky losing 1/3 of my balance as some of those games will wipe out deposits instantly; take Energoonz for example, that has a $40 bet option about a half a cm away from the spin button.

- Staff have poor English, clearly it's a 2nd language to them

Based on my experience, this is not a top notch casino as they have too many small problems and too many small problems can = a big problem.

Wow, well none of the stuff you list even remotely adds up to "a big problem". The only thing that possibly can warrant a small complaint is the issue with the freespins, which I'm sure they'll fix for you. That your bet size was reset (which is the case for every casino on earth that has the same software) that caused you to bet too much, is your fault altogether.

EDIT: What kind of "compensation" are you expecting for the freespins which had the wagering req's set up incorrectly? Surely they'll just change the wr to 40-50x that it's supposed to be?

I never said it did. But, it's enough to turn me off the casino since all that happened in quick succession.
What impression would you get if that was your experience?

They need to respond to complaints first. And even if they did the damage has been done. If complaints need to be escalated so far it says something.

If they had corrected the playthrough it would have satisfied me. Just to be clear, the bonus won on the free games was very small, only a few dollars if I remember correctly, but it's the point of the whole thing. If it was larger this wouldn't be a "Bitch and Moan" but I would be talking to Max about it.

You're incredible:mad:

Videoslots are the only casino who cared enough to implement the Max Bet limit, while no other casino have bothered. Still because you lost on a spin, either before they made the change, or because you never set a limit, you claim they don't care. You should be ashamed over yourself.

Saying that they did it because people complained and stopped depositing is a lie and you know it. Otherwise it would be the same at all other casinos.

I've met these guys and if there are any people who care about their players, and listens to feedback then it's them!!

So they shouldn't be rated high because of your experiences?

This post is so hilarious that it actually does not warrant an answer.

A few things though Petro:

- did you contact Dan or Philip regarding your issues as the forum rules ask you to?
- if yes what was their answer?
- if no, you might be in for a warning from the Meister
- your complaints are simple and purely non-starters
  • not checking your bet size before hitting the SPIN button is your and only your fault
  • any staff i had in the chat had a very good command of the English language
  • the only slightly valid complaint are the wrong WR on the winnings of the FS - this are exactly the things you should contact first the reps, Dan
or Philip, and they will look into it. If you are not happy with their answers then you can post your complaint in the complaints section

- I can assure you that any casino will receive negative comments/serious stick from the CM members if a complaint is legitimate, even the most popular and highest rated ones (FYI check all the 32RED threads)
- If you feel that we, the CM members, don't give you the support you are expecting, even when your complaints are wrong, then you might want to re-think if you want to be a member of this community
- CM clearly advocates FAIR PLAY and that counts for both players and casinos.

From my original post: "Another reason why I was silent is because there seems to be a lot of Video Slots supporters and I know from past experience that you get screamed at by the members who like the casino." So I'm prepared for some kick back.

This is not really a serious casino complaint. My whole point is that based upon my experience they shouldn't be ranked so highly.

@Tirilej No, I don't think that my own experience should be the only factor a casino is judged upon.

Have you not just contradicted yourself in the space of two sentences?

Your or my or anybody else's experience has nothing to do with the score. It is standardized and you can find the basics here:

It is basically derived from things like quality of the jurisdiction, reverse time, cashout time and their activity in the forum.

Naturally with such a standardized rating system there will be players that, based on own experience, would come to another score, higher or lower.

Hi Petro,

As this bonus expired so long ago it is very hard for me to investigate.
But as a goodwill I have added 25 wagering free free spins in Gonzos Quest to your account.

If there is anything you can always contact me.

Best regards,

Philip

Thanks Philip, but in this case it's not the amount but the principle.
I'm a reasonable person, I will probably check out VS in some years time. If they are still as highly praised as they are now I will be happy to
try them out again. Maybe my experience will be better then?
Until then I wish your casino luck.

I've only logged on over the past week or so to check and reply to PMs...
I thought I was just having a bitch about about this casino; it's nothing serious.
It should be OK for players on the forum to post about the smaller, nagging issues they've had at casinos like shoddy customer service
for example.
It's something I have to "Ask the Meister" about because I suspect I'm posting in-appropriately and it seems to be upsetting people.

Have you not just contradicted yourself in the space of two sentences?
It seems to me to be just arguing over semantics.
