Pragmatic play has this double your chance to get feature to bet 25% more of your stake... Ill bet that is just there to make people bet more for nothing... Where is actual proof that it doubles my chance ? Does it double chance so instead of 1/10000 spins is feature , now its 1/5000 ?

Hahaha I despise this. Partially for what the mathematics imply from the “price” (e.g., 25% on top of wager) of the “increased” chance. But primarily due to what you said, which I interpret as “double the chance of 0% is fucking 0%”. Fucking criminals.

My pet peeve is on megaways cascading slots, you can (very rarely) get a huge win, and it immediately disappears, literally in about 1 second.

If you blink or look away to have a sip of your whiskey you wont even see what actually hit to create that win lol

Angel vs Sinner (Prag) has a prime example of a pointless mechanic. When you land a heart symbol it goes through all the theatrics of expanding over the entire reel even when it won’t form part of a line hit. There are many slots which do similar things for no result.

I would argue it is illegal to over-write a win. If wild symbols = xyz then a 5 symbol win cannot overpower a higher paying 4 symbol win. And if the pay table changes in the bonus, then that should be told at the front, before you play. Massively important rules are not supposed to be hidden in small print. Small print, policies and such cannot contradict the law.

But the industry is a law unto itself.

Disagree, it has to be declared in the game rules though - and it will be in most cases.

I can give you one shocking example though - years back I tried those PokerStars "Million Dollar Jackpot" games, and I got four jackpot symbols (which I think was $50) and a reel feature which added wilds... which replaced one of the jackpot scatters with a wild, downgrading the win.

I checked the game rules, which said nothing - just they had to be "in view" (which they were, earlier in the spin). So I raised a complaint, they came back and said that is the game design... "are you seriously telling me that someone could trigger a million dollars, and that feature downgrades the win to $50?" "yes..."
