This definitely happened during promotional periods on FOBTS. The weekly competitions were won with ridiculously inflated scores. Of course this was done to hook the newbie who wouldn’t be able to believe how much they would have won if it had been real money.

Of course the vast majority of players wouldn’t have a clue what was going on but for seasoned players it was blatantly obvious and noticeable how betting shop staff made a beeline for any new faces and were very persuasive in trying to get them to take part.

Sorry going a bit off topic but it’s just another way of how underhanded the industry can be.

Sorry, but that's simply not true. I worked for Inspired for numerous years and aside from the fact that it would be illegal to do that, we only ever supplied one set of maths for FOBT machines.

What did happen though was that people just gambled like idiots during promotion times.

One thing alot of streamers do, especially the ones from Sweden (which a majority of them was), is to move to Malta as Sweden only allows one deposit bonus for each licence after new regulations. Which streamers simply can't afford.

Sorry to divert back to the main thread, but I am 99% sure that I saw the N1 Casino rep in this forum confirm that R------N did use his own money during streams, I am ruddy sure I read that :confused:
 
There's a thread over at another site that seems convinced that of the 2k he deposits (and subsequently gets a 300% bonus on) only 5% of it is his money (100) and he can only cash out a max of 500, the rest is casino money.

No idea how true it is, to be honest, I don't really care too much, I actually really enjoy his streams for the entertainment value

He only streams from N1 mainly, then slotty vegas and just as of 2 days ago Lord Lucky so only a couple (also I think there's an occasional stream from Lady Hammer casino), it's primarily N1 though

Well I do trust homerbert to tell the truth. If we don't trust accredited reps all seems a bit pointless I guess as they could lie about everything. Streamers do cause a lot of discussion.
 
Well, like Borgie said, we should be more trustworthy of accredited reps than untrustworthy, but I guess people's agendas can change according to their own interests so your point is also valid. Everyone has their theory on him but across all the forums I see his name appear, nobody has actually been able to prove it - perhaps it's just a matter of time, I am sure the truth will out either way at some point
 
Seriously, what is there to prove? Fake money or not, the guy is an entertainer and affiliate. Fuck all else.

Let the authorities decide if he's irresponsible or not.

If you don't like what you see, change channel. It's not like your mum forcing you to watch Songs of Praise on a Sunday
 
Rollas video is one of the best I’ve seen . More people should do investigative journalism .

Maybe a new channel should be started on YouTube, exposing more of the bullshit .
 
I was watching one large and well known streamer last night and he was talking about fake money streaming. He said quite clearly that it is rife and that he was approached by an affiliate manager who told him he could stream using an account that was funded by the casino AND they could make up a transaction history to make it appear legit.

So there you have it, even showing deposits and withdrawals is not a sign of integrity.

He also said that there's many deals that streamers can strike with the casinos. He said some casinos will let you 'withdraw' but then that money has to be paid back at the end of the month etc.

Either way, I'd be very surprised if a lot of these people cashing out 50-100k regularly actually get to keep the money in its entirity.

mins he was spinning £5 bets and lo and behold the bonuses were flying in,its reckless and sends out the wrong message to people the whole gambling industry is stinking to the core..
 
There is no absolute proof . Even if the streamer showed withdrawal direct to bank with last 4 digits showing of account number , a payment might have to be made back out to casino out of the same account a week or two later

So screenshots , histories etc actually all mean fuck all, so you just have to trust or like the character you are watching if you want to support them with affiliate income.

Just the same as pay per view tv.

If you like them , support them, otherwise don’t.

Oh, it seems I missed this thread for a while.

Well, since I see the whole history of deposits / withdrawals (transactions), can you kindly tell the 'another site' that if they can prove their words - I will send them 3k$ right away. My own money. But if they can't - they will send 3k to me (neteller, BTC, skrill, cash).

Someone already posted my words - yes, we gave him good bonuses, but winnings / losings is not controlled by us (n1 team I mean).

You can believe in my words, you do not believe in what I'm saying. Up to you guys, I do not care, to be honest. I just telling what I can see from our logs ;) If you do not like particular streamer / person - why the heck you will watch him/her or discuss him/her :D

Because I'm a streamer? No because sometimes I play a few spins with odd pounds or pence on low to round it down before commencing the stakes I want to play at? Does he focus on when I start at £200.16p in some videos for example?
The videos were taken down and some demo review ones, because of firstly the affiliate programmes getting shirty about YT (see the other thread, I had another affiliate e-mail today regarding association with undesirable content) and mainly because of this little gem that came in, see image:

As you may be aware I have numerous review videos, and this content leaves a hole in threads when the channel is suspended, as happened before. So I have left polite, non-gambling stuff live and ditched the rest. Perhaps the strikes and the post above are related.

It's not just you Dazza, there's a bit of a shitstorm going on right now with regards to streaming. That Rocknrollaaa video really set the cat amongst the pigeons and has seemingly concentrated people's minds on the legitimacy of some streams.

It's almost as if this whole 'fake money' thing has only just been outed for some people.

It's a shame for the genuine affiliates such as yourself and I think it's high time casinos shut off the route to any streamer wanting to play with funds that are anything but their own or even actively pushing this 'fake' play on affiliates. If this doesn't happen, I think we'll see affiliate integrity continue to ebb away by association.
 
If all is as you say then you won't have any issues uploading a pic or 2 of your recent deposit history from the last videos? The only way to scilence people is to prove them wrong :)
 
I also noticed that one streamer had his stream taken off YT earlier, left the stream on and when I came back the screen had gone static looking and a message popped up saying it had been removed due to violating YT policy.

It looks as though this has emboldened some of the anti gambling gang. I do wonder how long Twitch will be able to resist the calls for gambling streams to be banned from their platform too.
 
YT have tightened up. Anyone suspected of faking it, I. E. Making gambling look like a living/glamorous/struggling for the right words here... But this is why YT channels are getting warnings against community standards.

Nobody can sustain £5 spins constantly for hours on end everyday, it's leading people to believe streamers are doing something they aren't.

Sooner YT crackers down on the American fannys with fake prank videos the better imo

Hopefully I'll get the debits/credits by tomorrow and can show the bank statement. I'm not showing the accounts with sensitive usernames and stuff like some do - I did this before at Casumo and SV and got trolled for it if you remember my old channel. And isn't it the principle that the accusers prove me guilty, rather than me prove myself 'innocent'? Mind you, the medieval mentality around some channel comments would like that.

I have hundreds of comments on my videos with posters insulting other streamers, making accusations etc. and there's even a whole thread on here about R*shstein too, who demonstrates irresponsible gambling as do other streamers, but not fake as far as we know.

YT is only a sideline for me so I don't have the intensity of emotion some YT'ers do, especially streamers who at the end of the day will benefit from the discrediting or closure of rival channels. That's the kind of world it is, high rewards for some and then one of the deadliest sins, greed, sticks its finger in the pie. Following that, you have envy from those feeling they deserve their slice of the cake. It's a bitchy and shitty world and as I said you can see how emotive it is by the threads here.

I mentioned above there have been affiliate programmes contacting me, even if I don't promote them on YT (and I don't promote ANY casino links or images on YT) who are very wary of association with affiliates who do stream or provide YT and Twitch content, as there's a lot of compliance issues, RG issues and of course the potential to sully a casino's brand on there.

That is the main reason I never got into streaming - I don't need the income, although it would be nice, and I certainly don't want to be part of that world and all this crap we see here and elsewhere.

Further to the above, with the increasing amount of affy programmes becoming concerned and of course the sledgehammer of the regulators in many countries, I think the shelf life of revenue-raising casino streaming on YT is coming to an end. It's like bandit country (no pun intended) as it used to be on Farcebook with all the dodgy ads and goings-on before the ASA and UKGC for example cleaned it up.

The timing's been bad for me here as the straw that broke the camel's back, advisory aff. e-mail number 2 plus the strikes I got came right at the same time or just after this latest bout of trolling. Mind you, it's a no-win as there's always bouts of trolling on YT so whenever I made the decision it'd pour fuel on their fires.

From now-on there will simply be 2 kinds of videos on my channel (while it lasts) - the short web content videos/ultra polite and factual guide slot demos plus of course the new release/review videos I post on here. I can't be assed with the BS any more, the hassle of moderating spammers, trolls and malcontents so all will have comments disabled.
 
Watching Dazza's £4 videos I never had the feeling he was making it look glamorous but merely taking a punt with his profit from earlier as he's usually spinning at £2 and a £200 budget. If anyone is using his own funds it's Dazza, he doesn't make that many real play videos and actually gets alot of comments on his (p)reviews about that. Then when he makes a series of Bonanza videos he gets called out for being fake. Unbelievable, and very sad we're going to lose someone who's as real as they come while those "fake money" guys keep spinning at £50 and reeling in signups.

Actually, I do have some knowledge of streamer incomes and they could easily bang away at £5 spins all day, or many could. No fakery necessary.
YT couldn't care less about fakery, non-fakery, stakes etc. it's using them to promote that gets strikes, like aff links, casino interfaces with verbal instructions of how to sign-up, raffles because facilitating gambling is expressly banned in their terms. Further to that, the bitter irony is that they won't strike or sanction you UNLESS you are reported by someone else - they won't spot it themselves. And of course that leads to the trolling, anti-gamblers and rivals reporting you. You can have links to your website, that's your right as a creator, but that's it - the rest is against their rules mate.

P.S. one famous streamer declared he was 'having a 2-week break from gambling' a while ago. Read that as a euphemism for a second strike which means no uploading of over 10 minutes for 2 weeks in most cases. I don't blame him for saying that, as being open and admitting the trolls/reporters had caused it would simply make them hell-bent on going at him harder to hammer the final nail in.
