Well, yesterday both my laptops became completely casino free. Today I have been 'unsubscribing' from various email senders/providers. I intend to be this way until at least 2012. I had an amazing couple of months earlier this year and since then very little. I suppose I am beginning to see the signs of a problem, so hopefully I can keep this up till next year.

I do really enjoy playing online, however before things start to go wrong I have decidided to knock it on the head for the time being. I will still be visiting this forum to keep up to date with goings on in the online casino world but my participation for now is stopped.

Good luck to you all.

Good luck to you in your "new" life without gambling! :thumbsup:

There are lots of interesting things to do ;)

Keep us posted!

All the best.

My advice is to ask Bryan to place you in the "quit gambling" group, or to delete your membership to help you resist temptation.

Can he do this? I mean can he delete it permanently? I find that I gamble much more after a visit to these forums, especially the winners screenshots thread :D
I know accounts become 'dormant', but can they be literally erased?

Yes, he just has to ask Bryan.

Unless Bryan has changed his policies in the last week or two and hasn't mentioned it I think there may be some misinformation here.

If you ask Bryan he'll add you to the Quit Gambling group and thereafter your access is severely restricted. If I recall correctly you're gone for good after that, he won't reactivate your account.

As far as account _deletion_ goes I can't remember a case where he did that. It would mean actually deleting it from the database. Among other things that would cause a lot of problems with the old threads. AFAIK he doesn't do it, not even to worthless spammer accounts.

@DemonUK: best wishes to you! Knowing when to quit is no small thing.

@DemonUK

Good luck on being the master of your domain (not in the Seinfeld sense :p)

Please remember there is a "Quit Gambling" page on the main section that you may find helpful.

As for your account here, it's up to you. You can leave as is, or you can request to be put in the "Quit Gambling" user group which gives you access only to the non-gaming sections of the forum. The policies on deleting accounts and "quit gambling" accounts are here:

Good luck! :thumbsup:
