I can not condone Ben's recent post but permanently banning one of the handful of consistent posters who produces responses to a site that is slowly getting even quieter is not really conducive to keeping a very niche and much less frequented website by your industry alive.
Especially when your core contributors are turning their backs on the very Countries that keep this industry and your forum alive due to mandatory rules and regulations imposed on them.
The moderators and I had a vote and decided enough was enough. It's always the same - a personal attack, and then a reprieve, then rinse and repeat. This has been going on for years and I have loads of complaints from other members who are just sick and tired of it to no end.

You either behave yourself and be a part of this community in a civil manner, or you don't - simple as that. Calling a member here "scum" degrades this forum - it tarnishes our reputation as a leading player community, and I just won't stand for it any more.

If you want a trash talking troll infested forum, I am sure there are loads out there you can partake in. This is not one of them, and never will be.

As for your off-the-cuff comment about this forum being quiet, I don't get where you are getting your information from. The forum traffic has increased with the participation about the same. But you do realize that when folks call other people "scum" you're not going to get newbies to sign up or participate.

You can't have it both ways.

I’m new here and I totally agree, it seems talking about affiliation related issues is a very touchy subject and if your not onside your a gonna
Sorry, this is nonsense. You are welcome to discuss any issue here - just as long as you respect this foum and its members.

I thought it was just a two week ban?

P.S. A quick glance around and it seems it is permanent after all.
Ben is welcome to start his own forum elsewhere. I just won't tolerate his disrespectful behaviour anymore - he knew this and chose to ignore the scores of warnings and previous bans. You aren't seeing the complaints from your fellow members, I do - and I am not ignoring them.

Thanks for your measured reply. I do appreciate that running a forum is a big juggling act.

Yes I agree, my post was not in Ben’s defence in anyway. Merely relaying the message as I thought it stood but a quick look around told me different.

Imo, he has had more chances than anyone should get, to be fair so can have no complaints.

I also said it will at least 2 weeks break, even more if I still will not feel comfortable playing.

I know how gambling addiction works, otherwise I wouldn't be able to take a break, because if you've got an addiction, there is not way you can stop playing, and that's why it is called an addiction, i.e. something you have no control over.

Wow this thread got a bit crazy lol - Bit upset I forgot to get my popcorn for it lol.

That being said - Can I get back on topic. I have lost a lot in 1 day too. But only in terms of money I was willing and could afford to lose anyway. It is not anywhere close to 14K but I have lost 2K in 1 day once and close to 1K a day a few times too. But mostly that is when I get luck elsewhere and have some very nice withdraws that gives me a lot more spare funds to play with etc etc.

I still stick to my budgets but when I win money, unless I decide to treat myself to new stuff or tech etc etc then I will do that over depositing it into casinos. I am fully in control of my gambling and of course I get upset when I am in very very long losing streaks as well. That is normal but as for losing a lot in one day, those occasions I said above was only a few times. Those times I could afford to do so and it was spare and disposable money anyway. So it was not really much of a big deal for me.

But I will say this. Streamers really need to stop doing bonus buys/bonus hunts/high stakes........ All your doing is causing more problem gamblers who watch your streams. They will see you all do high stakes thinking WOW this seems easy. I should do the exact same thing. But then they sign up to those rogue casinos that the majority of these streamers use and they then realise that if they do win they will rarely get their withdraws or they will be delayed and delayed and delayed until they get fed up with waiting and you reverse it and lose it all.......

So please be aware of streamers and please do not copy them what so ever and only gamble what you can afford to lose! :)

Here's the thing about streamers/affiliates: it's advertising.
Yes it's a newer, more sneaky means of advertising but every industry does it now.
If you have a problem with streamers glamorizing slots then you need to ask yourself why don't beer commercials show guys puking into the toilet the next morning, why McDonald's ads don't show a morbidly obese 40yo having a heart attack or why luxury car commercials don't feature dudes with small dicks.

And hell- maybe they should, but unless communism somehow outlives capitalism then it's just another little reminder that we all worship at the altar of the almighty dollar.

I agree that its advertising, but the streamer equivalent of an alcohol commercial would probably encourage people to drink like this:

11.gif ttt.gif ttrr.gif tttj.gif tttt.gif

But they dont. (apart from the good looking people having a good time, they are there. :) )
Its almost like they have a bunch of rules to follow when it comes to advertising their harmful/addictive product or something.
You cant just slap a "responsible drinking" sticker in the corner, then go on to show the complete opposite, which is what alot (most) streamers are doing.
And thats not mentioning that alot of them are promoting rogue sites/providers etc which would be like if Heiniken made a commercial telling people to buy alcohol from that weird guy who makes his own alcohol that makes people go blind every now and then.

So its the same in the aspect that its all about money, but imo its not really the same.

It is the whole culture.

Adverts for example paint pictures which are totally unrealistic.
Streamers who then post videos on YouTube, create fake photoshopped thumbnail images for their videos which are 100% Clickbait. They need to stop. But they will not. Majority of YouTubers do those fake photoshopped screenshots not just in gamble market.

It really does make me sad that Streamers keep continuing to be irresponsible and casinos and slot providers can not get enough of it and in some case speer them on with more and more incentives and lucrative deals to further generate more traffic to their own brands. Then streamers get aff money plus YouTube Ad money from there disgusting footage.

Unfortunately, yes.
I was able to keep myself from gambling only for 10 days, instead of planned 14.
Not the it matters all that much, but i think it was actually only 9 days. (i may have miscounted tho)

Does this mean you wont get back to advertising gambling until your have gotten your own gambling under control?
You said the only reason you could take a 2 week break (more if you didnt feel comfortable after 2 weeks) was because you were in control and not an addict.
And i think you would agree that someone whos not in control of their own gambling is probably the last person who should advertise it to others.

Anyway, i hope you get the help you need, and that it all works out for the best.

Remember the days on here a few years ago when you would people in healthy profit for the year, and quite regularly too. Out of interest is anyone (non-streamer) in that boat?

I think you have a good point here, and I will need to think through why I broke my own rules, i.e. started playing earlier than I was going to. Was it because I again felt comfortable with gambling, or because I couldn't resist the urge to play? One part of me tells that if I wasn't able to control it, I wouldn't even last a day, but on the other side, I didn't follow my own rules, which is clearly not what I wanted.

Just to repeat myself, I didn't lose more than I could afford, but that loss was "too much and too fast". And all the money I'm losing is my own money, since I'm not making anything from the affiliation.

Why would you want to advertise casinos if theres nothing in it for you?

I did pretty OK when I streamed for Russian-speaking audience (my native language is Russian). However, after Twitch and YouTube blocked vast majority of channels (my old channels were blocked, and all content removed), I decided to switch to English.

But with English market - the whole different story. Not sure why is it like this, maybe poor casino selection (for one of my projects I got 7 registrations from 2800 clicks, and zero deposits), maybe my streams just not entertaining enough, bad streming times, etc. etc. etc.

Also, I would still gamble if I wasn't streaming, so why not? I'm happy with my 30 regular viewers who didn't ditch me after 3 years of watching :D At least, I can speak to all of them lol

I am in profit since turn of year - but not healthy - miniscule.
And that is only because Will Hill - for all thier RTP nerfing faults have given some pretty decent bonuses over the last few weeks. Lots of 100% matchs with only 10x wagering.
They have also done a few 100% match on Live casino - again with 10x wagering - so that is basically buying money.
They have covered my losses so i'm a teeensy weeny bit in profit YTD

As for the profits, most of streamers get deposit bonuses, so the bigger your audience is, the better your bonuses will be. And on the long run bonuses help A LOT, both increasing your streaming time and potential profits.

It's because we're all led to believe, that slots are random. They are not. The exact phrase would be "Pseudo random". Pretty much your winnings are determined by the amount you deposit, and pretty much the last time you hit withdrawl. I took a very clear stand yesterday when i hitted the 9500 euro. It was no matter what i did, a downward spiral. In a controlled way of losing tho; like it's not everything hits blank but you can tell the odds are quite different at that point.

When i repeated the same exact at another casino, the same stuff happend. It hit my mind that this is'nt random, it's pseudo random. I'm not sure, i'm not algorithm expert, but you cant tell me or another one that what i experienced in the last 2 days was a "random" event. Perhaps it already was deciced the moment i put a deposit onto the casino. My action as well differs greatly from 50 vs 200 euro. At this point i'm starting to believe, and exactly looking at Rocknrolla a while back,

He +/- depositted over 90k on that one particular casino he played at. In december he finally hits the stream with 90k wins or so. I am starting to believe that we're a great selection of big suckers who pays for their own entertainment. It's bin written before, the true nature of gambling is done. The days are over. The games are becoming more and more volatile and all designed to make you tilt like crazy (look at the new pirate game where it's constantly trying to haul you over to buy for a shitload of near hits/wins).

Show me some graphs here; how many of these streamers are really up. Same goes out for players here. How many of you are really really up and still can say hey my gambling carreer has bin fruitfull for me. I'm not talking about the 100 quid or euro players but the ones in the thousands.

As for that 9500 euro session, i only withdrawl 1800 of that, which was my exact deposit over the last few weeks. I tried again and miraculously i hit one after the other big win bonus you woud'nt imagine. DOA, DOA2, even BTG games fully went beserk, that was till a certain point again. It hit me; pseudo random. Maybe it's due to the country i am staying in and thats the reason why i experience the same shit happening over and over and over again. But you cant convince me at this point anymore that slots truely are random.

The wins are limited. The wagering is crazy over some games meaning they will run you dry and suck you out completely because you believe in the next bonus or even bonus buy it might happen. Well frankly i got rekt so much in the last 2 days, it's impossible to believe that my event was a genuine random outcome. The above player burning 14k; i have mad respect for doing that in the first place, but you got f'ed. You got buttf'ed extremely and it just shows how brutal slots are.

Just for those who do not believe what i write here; above happend on 3 casino's over 2 nights. they all showed the same repetitive behaviour. It does'nt matter if my approach is deposit 200 euro, playing at 80 cents over various of games or depositting 200 euro and hit a instant bonus buy of 200 euro. If the pseudo is right, i win. If it's not i lose. I can show anyone here a video of my above analysis as well; i'd be glad to make it. But let it be a eye opener that this form of gambling is becoming extremely dangerous.

It woud'nt suprise me if i hit the same shit this weekend again, where my deposits pretty much dictates how far i can kick the ball this time.
