In all my years playing BJ on and off line I have only seen a 7 card hand once, never seen an 8 card BJ hand ever!!!!
While dealing BJ many years ago, I really pissed off the players when I drew a 10-card hand for a total of 20!
The maximum dealer draw, of course, is 12 cards (13 if the house hits soft 17)-does anyone know the correct composition and order of cards for that hand?
This screen shot came about because I for some reason didn't research the casino before making my deposit... a rare lack of judgment.
Dealer didn't qualify BTW

Not at all - that will occur once in every 50,653 spins...is this unusual ?
I was playing this one at the local SPCA and hit three dogs with buckteeth, I think it pays similar to a staight flush, I missed the damn fourth one by a beagle.
ClassYou actually only won 650c because you lost the PP bet?tennis_balls said:what's wrong with this picture?

I think it is simply a matter of the programmer forgetting to include a line in the programme that if all players have blackjack or have busted and the dealer has no blackjack, then the dealer need not play out his hand.I believe this is a "play on natural blackjack" for the dealer to "play out" their hand until they get a 17 to 21 or go bust, regardless of the player's hand even if it is a blackjack. In real casinos, this effects the subsequent hands but I don't know to what extent. But supposedly in online casinos, the "deck" is "shuffled" after each play, so what is the point? I don't know ...I guess to provide that experience of a real casino. Maybe play on natural blackjack is a standard Aussie casino thing.
After splits, this happened...

What a fantastic idea for a thread, and what an amazing screenshot to start it off with. In all my years playing BJ on and off line I have only seen a 7 card hand once, never seen an 8 card BJ hand ever!!!!
no.....i was referring to the mad Aussie dealer dealing himself a card after I had BlackJack then announcing "BUST"
it's just a funny thing with their software.....i still would get paid even if he hit his 21 with that 3rd card. I just found it humorous.
If the software dealt cards sequentially, wouldnt drawing an extra card affect the following hands?
Great catch, KK!Hey - I found the 'Achilles Heel' in a new RTG slot!
Playing autoplay in 'Fun Mode' to try it out it suddenly stopped on this & said 'Feature Triggered'.
But it wasn't!! You have to get 3 Achilles OR three scatters - not a mix!
When I hit 'Spin' it just carried on with a normal spin! Weird!![]()
Never seen the dealer take 8 cards to bust ever!!

Well... I'm certainly not used to seeing that either. Haha, glad you won though!Out of curiosity "nafanny29", what casino/software is that? I can't recognize it.

(Flash only - very sleek apart from the annoying slow connections & disconnects)

I believe that the casino gives back the double-down bet when the dealer blackjack is not revealed until you play your hand. That is the only thing I can think of why I got a dollar back in the posts above.
It is to your advantage to hit a soft 18 against a 10. It would have been interesting to see how many more cards you could play. While waiting for my winnings from a poker tourney I popped $5 into the flash blackjack and played at $1 a hand. I stood on the 18 and ended up pushing, but I was really tempted to hit just to see what the next card would have been!

and yes this is a rogue casino( they dont get no real bling bling from me)..........laurieI think some of the rogues do that. Why the hell not? They have no intention of paying anyone anyway.wtf? Do they have the ability to set $50 per line bets or is that just a wierd glitch![]()

One of the reasons that the screenshot is rare is because most BJ games don't allow you to resplit aces. The only BJ games I am aware of where the screenshot would be possible are Wagerworks European BJ, most Grand Virtual Games BJ games, and some unique variations (Superfun 21, Spanish BJ, etc.)I think this is a bit rare. I was playing single hand and split aces twice, and
then all hands hit BJ. So it is more rare than getting 3 BJ when playing 3 hands, since you can then get the face card first.

If you could double on a 1-card hand composed of only an ace, it would be a good option. However, after a split (any split, not just aces), you are dealt a second card to make a 2-card hand. You don't have a chance to double until after this second card is dealt. Under most casino rules, you do not have the opportunity to double on the 2-card hands formed after an ace split. If you are able to double, optimal strategy varies depending on the value of the 2-card hand and dealer upcard. You're both 10x more knowledgable than me about blackjack, but I would have doubled every split ace if I could... would that be stupid?
