Strange discovery playing Bonanza

Okay I have already posted this on the Bonanza thread but it didn’t receive much response or explanation.

Basically I logged into a Casino played Bonanza and disabled the sound via options. I then logged out and a few hours later logged into another Casino and again played Bonanza. Forgetting I had disabled the sound earlier I thought there was a fault, then I remembered what I had done so I checked options and sure enough the sound was disabled.

I have done this a few times to check, logging into one Casino then logging out. Logging into another with the same platform and the sound choice of on or off carries over. I just find that strange or am I missing something?

Possibly stored as a setting in your browser cache.

If you play NetEnt on the same platform - where the games are hosted on the same server, they remember your bet settings. Places like Direx NV / L&L ...Etc.

With BTG you might be on to something - It's never as clear cut with them. Could be the compensation settings :D

Not sure if it's still the same, but when Betfair/PP had added Lil Devil, I played a bit on PP then switched to Betfair and the hearts were carried over. Not sure how thats possible over 2 completely different accounts.

Because the game server has an individual environment for that operator, which obviously includes both casinos there.

But its over 2 completely different accounts, in fact they have different addresses on them as haven't updated my betfair one from about 10 years ago.

Betfair and pp are one and the same both owned by same company guessing it could be that however I might me wrong.

What worse is that when you turn of the sound because you are working and don't want to get distracted, but when you hit the feature you want to pause work and play the feature properly. In those events you can't turn on the sound. Very frustrating, hence I stopped playing Bonanza while working.

It's irrelevant. Those 2 sites will be using the same server environment and each spin (although you don't see it usually, but I do when I play at Betfred for some reason) generates a long url code which will have the same identifier code for both casinos. It's this code which you can sometimes see when you look in your play log. Your customer code will therefore be the same too for both casinos hence the retention of accrued hearts.

I don’t quite agree - they should be different customer accounts, as that’s what they are. Different addresses etc.

Not if they did their homework when the businesses merged.

I doubt it it’s something to do with cookies ...
From my experience the game completely dies after a big win no matter if I play it on a different site. And it’s dead while it takes it all back. I’ve noticed this quite a few times .
I wont be surprised if it tracks your IP ...

'Mute Site' on Chrome tab mate - Then unmute when you want to dance to the tune of the Bonanza feature...
I've heard you are quite the dancer - especially to a banjo tune

Whereas I’ve noticed if it’s dead at one site, it can be lively at another, even when on the same platform.

Realistically, it’s all in our heads.

Easy way to check if you want.
Clear all cookies.
Use incognito-mode while playing.
Swap site.
If settings carry over, its nothing to do with cookies. :)

I have had the theory for a while that Casinos are just doorways. Behind the doorway is your personal library of games. Which knows everything it needs to know about you and your game history.

The doorway you choose is irrelevant to you as the same outcome will arise whichever one you choose.

Another thing that happens constantly is I log into a Casino, play a game, exit the game, find I have been logged out of the Casino but on logging back in my balance is perfectly in order.

THIS !, Every game should have the sound settings on screen where it can be turned on and off at any time during a spin or when u get a bonus, Sometimes im listening to music or watching something so mute slot sound then when its a bonus I want it back on some games you can no enter the settings to change it

I’d also like games to have volume control. Sometimes I want their sound, but not full volume. I might be listening to something else, and the games drown that out.

It's completely relevant. Data protection for a start. I have moved 3 times since my Betfair address was last updated. My Paddypower account was only registered about 2 years ago at my current address. If they have linked the accounts, then the BF one should be suspended for having wrong details. If not, then the games shouldn't be linked. Theres nothing in their privacy policy I can see that allows them to share a customer's information with BTG, therefore the game sessions shouldn't be linked.

Never mind 30 minutes exercise a day, if you’re dancing to the Bonanza feature tune that’s not even going to be 30 minutes a year :eek2:

This would ring more true if it didnt come from the man getting 20 bonuses per day.

In fact, the below gif of You, Dunover & Nick in the middle of a bonanza session shows that its a great way to work out.

It does seem fishy for sure, but looking at other media platforms like YT, I could have the 'volume' turned down whilst on the main site, go to another site totally unrelated to YT, play a 'YouTube' clip and the sound level would be the same as I left it prior.

Sound Settings travel is quite the rage with some things :eek2:

+1 on this.
Even if i have the volume set to 1/100 on the laptop, some slots are just annoyingly loud, leading me to mute them.

Things that all slots should have.

1. Volume control
2. Atleast the option to spin on spacebar (i mean why not?)
3. Customizable autospin. Maybe i dont want to set the max-lose to 5x because its to low, and maybe i think 25x is a bit much? And why can i only choose 10-25-50-100 autos as an option? Maybe i want to play 37 autospins with 7x-loss as a stop-condition.
4. Paytable that shows what the different symbols pay according to what stake you are on.
No reason to overcomplicate things like red tiger. 5oak pays 300, aha, 300 what?
5. Customizable autospin.
6.Customizable autospin.
