I just wanted your advice here. I registered in the accredited casino Sports Interaction. I haven´t even deposited yet and they are requesting me to send them a copy of my bank statement. Is this ok? Do you recommend me to do it?

Sports Interaction has been listed as an Accredited Casino for years

You will need to send these documents when you withdraw, so you might as well find out now whether they accept you rather than later on when you are battling to get paid.

Usually it is photo ID plus a proof of address, such as a bank statement, or more commonly a utility bill.

A proof that you own the account being used for deposits is sometimes requested, and if this is from your bank, the bank statement proves this as well as verifying your address. For cards, players are usually asked to send in a copy of the front and back of the card, often along with a signed deposit declaration form.

Thank you

Thanks for your quick response. I had found it weird that they asked for documentation before depositing, but if you say it´s ok, I´ll do it. Thanks again.

Whenever a player comes here because they are facing a document nightmare after a big win the cry is often "why can't this be sorted out BEFORE play". The operators say this is unpopular among players, and can put them off. It is also pretty unpopular for players who are faced with "impossible" documentation requests once they have withdrawn.

Since Sports Interaction are doing the right thing in the face of it being unpopular among the impatient players, they should not be punished, but applauded for taking a stand. So long as the verification process is swift enough, the bulk of players are going to understand that there is merit in being patient for a while in order to be assured that when they win, they won't be in for a nasty surprise.

If the majority of reputable operators moved to preverification, it will be seen as the norm, and players will come to accept it.

I joined up at sports interaction this week and didn't have to send documents before play, but I sent them anyway - I didn't hear back. I managed to make a withdrawal and got requested for documents so I sent them again still waiting to hear back.. so really not all that swift.

This is rather inconsistent. They clearly lost the first lot, else they would have not asked for them to be sent again.

I've had the same document request. I believe my account is locked pending this. I'd feel better about sending a utility bill than my bank statement, especially since they don't indicate any info may be covered up/blanked out.

That was my concern. Up until I registered the account, they were answering emails in seconds, not minutes. I sent the bank statement like 10 hours ago and still not reply, not even aknowledging the reception of it. I truly trusted them since they are accredited. I hope I didn´t do anything wrong.

a few hours after I made my post in this thread I received an email that my docs were approved and then I went out for a few hours and came back and my withdrawal had been paid to my Skrill.

I guess email support doesn´t work weekends. No reply since Friday, eventhough I can have full access to the casino now, which seems to be that the documents were approved, but I prefer to be cautious and wait for an official response. Has it also happened to you that they don´t reply emails at the weekend?

Update

Just a note to keep you updated. Last Wednesday I received an email saying that I had to resend one of the documents because it was older that 3 months ( it was 4 months old by the way ). I did resend another one which is less than 3 months old just a few minutes after I got the email, so it was the same Wednesday. I hope I get a positive response this time. I guess I´ll have to wait another week since I contacted live chat and they said that it takes them up to 5 working days to approve documents. I hope this means that they are really serious and nothing else.

Update

The adventure continues. At least it was earliest this week. Last week I received their email on Wednesday.
This time, they are asking for another bill. I just resent it. I guess I´ll have to wait another week.

I just wanted to close this thread by saying that I got an email stating that my documents have finally been approved and that my account is now active.
