So heres a new one, got an email today into my spam folder from TS ( Times Square) Casino telling me that i'm one of the very select people that they are giving a special deposit bonus to.... whoop whoop lucky me.
Now i know that this is one of the many Cup-a-cocoa shithole casino's, and its somewhere i would never play in a million years, but why would they address me with my user name at Ask Gamblers...... a user name that is obscure, contains no details of my name, and Ask Gamblers is the only place I have ever used that user name.
Just goes to show how low Ask Grumblers will go........

Just an update on this. I raised a complaint with Ask Gamblers and got the response below. Just wondering if there is anywhere I should be taking this to as its clear they are either selling my information or they have had a breach of some sort?

Hello " my username ",
Your complaint has been rejected due to following reason:

Please keep in mind that AskGamblers under no circumstances could share your registration details unless in the cases specified in our Privacy Policy. More info about it here -

You may rest assured your details have been safe with us and there must have been another source from where the aforementioned casino brand got your details.

Askgamblers may look very legit, and they do a good job hiding the shady side. But they are corrupted for sure. I dont have any evidence so i cant really blame them for anything without it.

But i know they are into some kind of very lucrative affliate deal promoting very bad groups as the opposite. When deal has expired you will see huge negative feedback getting through without being deleted on the casino.

And the plot thickens..... received this reply from them after I questioned their response to my complaint:

In addition, you should also be in aware, that your AskGamblers Profile page which includes your AskGamblers Username "xxxxxxxxxx" is public xxxxxxxxxx and visible on every published complaint and/or comment.

Thank you for understanding.

So my response to that is:

Hi,
Thanks for this. I acknowledge that my user name is visible to anyone, but are you trying to say that a casino group has plucked my user name out of the air and matched it with my email address which is not visible?.
Or are you trying to tell me that the casino i made a complaint against many years ago has now decided to give my email address and my Ask Gamblers user name to another random company?
To me the most likely method that this rogue group of casinos got my details is directly from Ask Gamblers and that means that my details have either been given by you or my details have been taken during a breach of your website.
As you will not give me a satisfactory answer, I believe I now have a duty to send my complaint to the Information Commissioner for investigation.

So considering that Game Tech group have managed to tie my user name at Ask Grumblers with my email address with absolutely no help whatsoever, I think they should just forget about running clip joint casinos and start doing lotteries as the chances of them matching a random user name with a random email address must be billions to one........

At LAC yesterday, I was told from a very reliable source that Ask Gamblers are launching (with big bucks) their own streaming community and video platform.

Bit late to the party :p

Don't they already fund the slots fighter streams on twitch ?

Lol cheers for that as i got same email and it was a name i have only ever used a couple of times years ago so wondered how the hell that name was on email as never used it in a casino.

But i do have an account at askgamblers tho never logged in there for years not even sure why i registered years ago . So it is definitely from them. It was only your post that reminded me i had an account there and name on email is what i used there.

Everyone for instance knows that for rogue casino groups to fail you need to shut off their money stream. For example it is all well and good the vast majority of us blacklisting AffPower for instance, but what good does it do when the likes of AskGamblers let them use their 'Certificate of Trust' seal on their sites. The site in question is CashPot Casino, which prior to the name change in 2016, was known as Cosmik Casino.

The same Cosmik Casino which was using pirated games from NetEnt and others. Yet it seems Catena Media and their portals such as AskGamblers operate on the principle of selling space to the highest bidder, regardless of who or what they subsequently promote. A nice home page backlink courtesy of the seal on the footer of the rogue casino, also seems to be part of the deal.

Jesus H Christ. TimesSquare one of the worst shithole casinos in existence, an older 1668/JAZ scam site.

I'm glad the OP knew his stuff about them.

Some of the AG lot were at a meal function I attended Thursday evening in London, and it took a fair bit of control for me to avoid engaging them about some of the crapola they promote. :(

It is not late to the party. If they pay streamers money like others do, they will get their share of the affiliate game without question. AG has deep pockets and can afford to reel in sign ups with comps and wages and thats all it takes.

Streamers bring issues on themselves and this whole shade and bad reputation because they cant be honest with what they are doing. A whole pile of the streamers are being paid a wage and/or a percentage of a winning session. FruitySlots fired a bunch of their streamers and they have come out and talk about what their deal was. They dont play with their money but get paid a wage by a person who owns the channel and links listed.

Just be honest sheesh. They do themselves such a disservice. Which also is directed at AG themselves. People appreciate honesty and them rating every single casino like 8/10 and higher is hilarious. Especially listing rogues with high ratings lol. Word spreads fast! But I will admit alot of people dont read forums and just use google and dont know AG are slimey.

I stick with CM after all now, Askgamblers lost my trust long time ago. False Reviews, Promotion Casinos where you know that they notice withdrawing money as crime and need to stop you... and then all this good comments under all this bad casinos. Tried myself to write a comment, but no chance if they review is not "good" enough.

@dunover I joined Ask Gamblers years ago before I knew Casinomeister existed and have to say Casinomeister is light years ahead of AG, both for content and mostly highly intelligent and engaging user input. One of thr highlights for me on CM is when you post your unbiased reviews of the 1668/JAZ sites and link to shithole casinos......
And I would never think of playing anywhere that isn’t mentioned in good light on CM.

Yeah, it's not my site but I always try and link to it whenever it has a casino on it that has come up on here.
AG has simply gone corporate and IMO places dollar ahead of integrity. So I share your view about preferring CM where in no cases is money put ahead of player safety - CM remains a player advocacy site of which there are fewer and fewer as the rest are brought up gradually.
