I have two emailadresses that I use for gambling.
Today I got spammails from CasinoDeal to both of the adresses. Exactly the same spam.

I wouldn't be the least surprised if all of you have been getting the same:rolleyes:

I'm use to getting spam from Casinos, sent from some creapy affiliate, but CasinoDeal isn't a casino.
Do they have so much money so they can afford hiring a company spamming for them or have they been buying my emailadress from some other company?

I don't get it really so if anyone can help me understand what these guys are doing would be great.

Oh my.

La(?)ouche from Ca$inodeal just recently told us, in response to accusations of spamming THIS forum levelled by Bryan, that his site absolutely does NOT spam.

Ummmm.....yeah.

CasinoDeal recently came under fire on this forum. Once discussion of a casino related matter turned into an analysis of how CasinoDeal operated, they became defensive, and many of their replies to such questions were variations of "none of your business". This quickly became the main topic, and I can't even remember how it started. Bryan came along and stated that he had dealt with a forum spammer who spammed CasinoDeal links here, and CasinoDeal denied all knowledge of this, and stated "we do not spam". Many of the replies to their defences took the form of "bullshit", and it turned into an argument neither side could win, and it eventually fizzled out.

You have now given us further evidence that CasinoDeal DO spam, and I bet a close look at my spam filters will find that they have been spamming me too.

CasinoDeal have (according to their site) been "online since 1999", and are "trusted". Research can find no trace of them prior to 2011, they have around 450 members, and a forum that has few threads. All of this is inconsistent with them having been online since 1999, and Bryan has "never heard of them". At this, their rep backtracked and said they were "in the industry" since 1999, but not necessarily "online". This means they LIED on their website, and have STILL not corrected this, even though it came out in the debate.

I suspect they have actually been "online since 2011", and are currently on a major recruitment drive, hence the spam in all it's forms.

So caught up in the flow was I, that I made a glaring error in working out how their reward scheme works, which is their selling point. If a player signs up to a casino through CasinoDeal, they are promised a cash rebate calculated as a small percentage of their gross deposits. My mistake was to lose a zero and make it a 30% rebate, but it is in fact a 3% rebate. The problem as I see it is that this can be abused by players simply "churning" their money through the casino without any intent to play. Casinos have enough trouble over this when Neteller does one of their 1% cashback offers, yet CasinoDeal is offering a permanent 3%.
I told the CasinoDeal rep that they will run into trouble if advantage players get wind of this, but he would have none of it.

.....and NOW I remember how this started. A casino rep came here to ask "is it normal" after CasinoDeal offered to bring their casino on board, but appeared to want additional information on players that would breach their privacy rights. CasinoDeal came here to argue that they had NOT asked for the casino to provide this information, but merely to confirm that their data on a player matched that of CasinoDeal, and this was so that their deposits could be verified before the 3% rebate was allocated.

In the end, we have no evidence that CasinoDeal is rogue, but they DO spam, or at least allow, maybe condone, it being done on their behalf. They also have a problem with the truth when it comes to their advertising and marketing. The reward for taking the risk in giving them your information is a 3% rebate on all deposits at participating casinos. There is no evidence that they renege on this deal.

I also just saw that in the bottom of the mail it says:
You have opted to recieve our newsletter on CasinoDeal.com:eek:

I did visit the site when I read the other thread about them but before that I have never heard of them at all.
I do wonder where and when I have opted in to recieve those newsletter.
After this I will certainly never trust them:mad:

More proof of what I said earlier (in 25 words or less).

This means they bought your email address.

I have seen this "you have opted in" BS on many spams, but given that CasinoDeal have been around for only a few months, I am sure that had you opted in, you would remember, and know what CasinoDeal was.

If you are up for it, I challenge the CasinoDeal rep to PROVE that you have opted in to these newsletters, although I am sure they will say this is "none of my business".

That's a good Idea!

If I could just find his name in the other thread I will notify him of this.
I really would like to see what kind of proof he can provide me:p

IMO the best would be to raise a question on their forum, but I don't think your post will live a long life :D

I believe you're right about that:p

I couldn't send him a private message for some reason, but I asked Maxd if he could do it for me.

I have just started receiving there crap too, and strangely enough had never heard of them until the other thread!

CasinoDeal.jpg

that's not the whole email, but you get the idea. It had a heap of banners for 32Red, 888, Wiliam hill etc and their 3rd party casino chat :/

Mattsgame, does it say in the bottom of the mail that you also had opted
in to recieve their mails?

lazouche got banned yesterday so I never had the chance to ask him.
I will not visit his forum to ask him. I just hope there will be no more mails:rolleyes:

Hmmm...he was banned for "intellectual property theft". I guess when one was no intellect to begin with, one must use other means to acquire one....

He wanted me to remove the other thread - I refused, stating the Casinomeister policy on removing threads so he picked up the casinomeisters.com domain as hostage.

Thus he was banned from the forum.

Wow. Kind of tells you what sort of person he is.

Can you do anything about it?
There is plenty I can do. For now, I've politely asked him to transfer the domain to my account at godaddy. But I only ask once - at the moment, the ball is in his court.

But honestly, this is small fish. The other thread is linked to his site by his forum. Our stats show we've had a total of five visitors from Casinodeal. So it's not like there is a lot of activity over there.

Well, it wouldn't have made much difference if he WAS still around to comment, as he would have fed us yet another bowl of bullshit. It is clear that he is into "black hat" methods when it comes to building his business, and he has clearly duped some well respected casinos into being a part of his program.

He is merely an affiliate though, and even though he is spamming his site, rather than individual casinos, it is nevertheless a breach of the "no spamming" rule seen in most affiliate programs. I expect it won't be long before his site can only offer rewards for deposits at places like Win Palace, Gold VIP Club and Palace of fat Chance.

So what is he to do with the hostage now that Bryan has refused to pay up by removing the thread? I think the usual responce is to kill it, although I expect in this case the hostage will be brainwashed into spreading propaganda against Casinomeister, and arguing that his vast experience over many months makes him the definitive authority on online casinos.

Several Casino Reps were notified about this thread. I hope their Affiliate Managers are going to take an appropriate actions.

Thanks - I plan on contacting them myself - I was just giving these dweebs a day to come to their senses.

Seriously, this is a pathetic situation where a "company" thinks that rules for trademark protection are void because it's the Internet. You wouldn't believe some of the statements this guy has made via PM. It's a joke.

And so far we have recorded 6 hits from this massive site. Half of them are probably from the admin themselves. What a waste of time.

Bumping up this thread again since I recieved a new spammail from this place again today.
It still would be interesting to know where they bought my emailadresses from.

I don't want to think people can sink so low but these ones obviously can:mad:

I also wonder how it went with those domains he held hostage?

I think this will never end, as you can't prove anything (or you can ). By the way, if they have your email, it means that you must have registered at their website, and they should have your details. If they have only your email - it means that it was bought from someone.

I just checked their website, and there are still links to some accredited casinos, yet I've got few PMs from affiliate managers stating that they will take an "appropriate actions".

No, I don't believe I will ever be able to get an answer from who they bought mine and thousands of more emailadresses.
The purpose of my post is more to make people aware that this is not a place that are runned by honest people.
If I got a new mail then others got it too. If they search on google, then Casinomeisters threads about them will come up on 6th place. That will serve as a warning for many people I hope;)
