started with $400 didnt take a bonus. Slots were bending me over. I lost about $300 pretty quickly betting no higher then 50 cents.

I decided it was hail mary time. $75 on red and the rest on numbers. Hit red and my number. I went back up to around $200. Played two hands of BJ at $10 a pop. Won them. Put $15 total on three card rummy...won it. Roll getting close to $300. Went to basketbull on slots. Hit the feature and won $75.00.

Still down about $50. $50 on black. Lands on black.

Break even feels pretty good right now.

Bedtime :)

p.s. three stooges on RTG is a damn awful game. :eek2:

In a certain way yes, Its a slight dam better the losing the whole lot, at least you got some play and it cost you nothing and depending on where you played maybe built up some comp points :)

Been absolute dreadful the last past week for me,

Yes I agree with Simmo there, Until you receive the funds than its really monopoly money

Yes, breaking even if recovering from a bruising early loss definitely feels like a win for me!
Just the same as breaking even after being well UP on my starting balance feels like a terrible loss :(
It's all relative.

I took the 100% DOTD yesterday at 32Red. -£40 total to start...

Straight onto a losing session and never back above SB across 5 or 6 games at just above minimum bets.

Down to last £9 (at this point I'd usually go to a 9-liner on 18p or even 9p bets) and I thought 'sod it, IR has been evil for months now, got enough for 30 spins lets go for it :p)

Stayed between £3 and £10 for over 100 spins then it ate ..FAST - last 0.76p, the start button 'greyed out' oooo a Wild Desire.

I even said out loud '5th reel only - no win' but It actually paid £12ish. Built this back up to just over £30.

So I did not even manage to break even and went to bed at that point £10 down but in a GOOD mood :what::confused:

Losing doesn't bother me, withdrawals don't bother me, what bothers me is several back-to-back bad deposits with no game time. Breaking even is a victory as My main goal is fun/play time.

KK raises a massive gripe with me,:mad: when you say hit a 250x or thereabouts at the start of your session and then all other slots gobble it back without mercy:eek:

I took the DOTD 100% bonus at 32 Red also and cashed out £42 pound on a £20 deposit, earlier I lost 30 euros.

I was happy for a draw, 8 hours gling for nothing.

I know some couldn't even think of such a small withdrawal, but it gets me two more deposit matches.

And yes I said gling I just made that s##t up! It's also what you do with Bling. I just dropped the amb, try it.

I totally agree as a small roller my self than any think that will get you a few more deposits are all good, Good when wdraws & depos are free but when getting charged as much as £5 on some sites it becomes a joke,

Ive been blinging all week and not a bloody bean & not so much play time either,

To me this would depend on the deposit amount. If I deposited 200 and took a match deposit and had some good game time I would call breaking even a win in the end. Mostly now my deposits are averaging 50-100 a couple of times a month. I deposit with the mindset that the money is gone as soon as it's in the casino so if I cashout at a profit yeah if not it's the expected outcome. I rarely am in a position to break even lately as I barely get above my deposit amount but if I do I would probably withdraw and play elsewhere. Sometimes gambling is fun and sometimes it sucks.

Took me a while to decipher this lol, must be tired :p

Was charged 2.50 Neteller withdrawal last week from some casino?

I went from £40 to £83 pretty quickly on the new slots.

Then headed for the Dark Night and stuck with it the whole way.

Completed the Dark nights feature strip for the first time. Got loads of features in the end and a good £24 on the base game betting 0.30 kept me in it.

Went one more time on the dark night slot for feature because I was 50 pence down from £40.
Just cannot see this game doing decent wins on a regular basis. Sure this has been discussed it's an old slot now.

As a few have mentioned already, it's predominantly about getting value for money, losing your entire bankroll flat- out without any playtime or bonuses makes you feel insulted and wishing you never bothered.

I don't mind losing at all but sometimes it feels like you're doomed to lose from the outset, and we immediately start drawing comparisons to our previous winning session and scratch our head in disbelief:mad:

So breaking even is a great feeling of salvation as it doesn't occur too often. And when you manage to break even two or three times in a single session and STILL manage to bust out on the same game that's when you feel like a proper chump:eek::eek:

I only do small deposits ($20-$30) per session so at the least I hope for alot of game time.

Usually I'm playing slots at minimal stake and hoping that at that small deposit I can at least get about 30 minutes to 1 hr of play. If I happen to last longer than 1 hour I'm usually well up on my deposit and can make a withdrawal but most of the time that $20-$30 goes nowhere but down fast so I tend to do another small deposit after when - most common for me - I deposit $20 and get only like 10 minutes of playtime - usually means no bonus rounds, no any nice wins of any sort and busting out on all the slots I'm playing.

For me personally I don't mind losing $20-$30 so theres no breaking even for me until I am satisfied with getting good playing time - its either withdraw above $50 or bust. I will withdraw at $30 though if I somehow have survived for lets say 90 mins on a small deposit and I can't be bothered going anymore for that day.

Because of fees involved, I don't cash out at break even, even if I am a position to do so online.

I used to go frequently by bus to casinos, and if I came home even, it was just like winning. You are there for several hours, and I do love playing, if I came home with any money, it was a lot like winning, because I'd been able to gamble until it was time to go, and I expected to come home broke.

I normally am a small roller myself but a week ago I got tied into chasing losses on Terminator 2 slot. Ended up 90p a spin and ended up depositing and nearly losing what for me is a months wage (£800 minimum wage as I'm a carer).

Never before chased losses to such an extent. I had just had two gruelling 12 hour work shifts and then a slots all nighter.

Thankfully whilst £720 down I hit hot mode on Terminator 2 and clawed my balance back to £686.00. Then blew another £30.

I resisted temptation and withdrew rest. Despite being £150 down I felt hugely relieved. I'm normally a sensible gambler and blame tiredness for my rashness (equally lethal as alcohol).

Lesson learned. 30p spins from here on in I can't go through that kind of stress ever again lol

Oh, I forgot about when it has been multiple deposits.

Occasionally playing without a bonus, I will make multiple smaller deposits, because I am more likely to withdraw earlier. If I deposit $100 in one go, I am not cashing out $30 up after 8 minutes. And I am not likely to cash out $20 down.

But I might on that first $20 deposit, especially if it lasted more than 8 minutes. If I get to the last $20 deposit, I might even be happy cutting my losses as that session was in profit.
