So... will my card work?

Don't know why, but I like to play during the holidays. With all the 'sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't' I'm seeing posted, will it be worth the bother loading my NS this weekend in hopes of playing a bit during the long Xmas weekend? Anyone using prepaids regularly? Feel free to PM if you'd rather not post...

I guess I can just load it and see... if it doesn't work, I can use it for after Xmas shopping. LOL

Ahhh yes... the old 'money flowing out like poop thru a goose' scenario... I haven't played in a couple of months, but I do remember that 'gone in 60 seconds' feeling.

Mine has still been working. I also like playing around the holidays. I seem to do better than I do most of the year.

I've had my NS card for years, use it a lot for deposits, and never really had a problem. Last Monday, Dec. 24, I loaded my card at the grocery store, no problem doing that. Then I went to another store and tried to use my NS card and it kept saying "Invalid Transaction". Got home and tried to check my account online but wasn't able to. When I tried to login it said there was a problem with my account. So.... I call customer support and they told me they had a hold on my account due to my foreign transactions, online gaming related. They took the hold off and repeated that I'm not to use that card for online gaming transactions or they'll close my account. (I never acknowledged her online gambling remark).

NS has worked so well all this time and only now they're giving me a problem about online gambling.

They do that to me about once every 3 months or so. But it always goes back to working. There are certain casinos that will trigger it for me. Slotocash RTG being one of them.

Loaded mine Monday, also. 3 deposits worked yesterday (no joy for me, though, went like poop thru the proverbial goose, always makes me wonder, Why bother?). I've been flagged once on this card in the past. It may happen again. Heck, I may try to use it tomorrow and it won't work.

If there is a Kroger store near you , they have what is a Visa 123 Rewards card you can load money on at customer service , when I have had time and money to play , thats what I have been using , works well at CWG and JPC . I hope this helps , they charge 3.00 for loading and a small fee for using, worth checking out
