Has anybody else been told this?

One of my regular casinos, usually I get payment in 1 hour, now over 13 and counting...

CS tell me 'Due to the Christmas period it is very busy at the moment. All requests are reviewed and processed in between 24-48 hours'

Well, the 23rd is not a bank holiday... Maybe more people are playing... but a so far 13 fold increase in processing time?

Not sure...

They leave it reversible of course. Hmm..

If I ran a casino, I would speed up withdrawals at Christmas time - people have more time to redeposit then ;p - or use it on some shopping!

Majority of the employees of Malta based casinos are not originally from Malta. Plenty of them are taking a flight on 22nd or 23rd to their home countries to spend holidays with their families I would guess. 23rd not being bank holiday doesn't really help if much of the payment processing department is on vacation.

I have always said, casino is a 24hr operation and should operate as normal for 24hrs, 24/7 365 days a year, Times have long changed since the 80's,

And yes they should of made sure all withdraws was sorted, If they are not sorting payments out over certain days than surley do not put a pending on it,

Excuses, excuses, excuses .... the only thing i can say.

This time it is Christmas period, other times it is the weekend, the bank holiday, the summer season, my dog needs walking  ...etc etc.....

And why would it be busier the days before Christmas??? :what:  People are still at work and most have only a long weekend.

If that would be the case then any decent company expecting more business than usual is making sure they employ a few extra staff to cover for that period.

Why can VS pay in 5-60 minutes any time of the day/week/month/year????

I can join the club.

I have a withdrawal at an accredited Microgaming casino which is pending since the 18th.
The reason is supposed to be "the finance department is very busy" because many players had nice winnings and all withdrawals need be manually checked

I intended to use some of my winnings to share with my wife and daughter.

All thou I,am not a euro player I can most assuredly get behind this Christmas period slow down, I have a rather large withdrawal pending for almost 48 hour,s now. And my CS was met with a 25 minute wait and then that the finance dept. is very very busy? This is a accredited casino that has "ALWAYS" paid with in 3 working day,s. that is a CC repay. And Duck your a euro player and it has been since the 18th WOW that seem,s a long time for the group of player,s that are in a great section of the world for online gaming. It seem,s that a matter of hour,s is the norm and that is really great compared the waiting time,s we US facing player,s have to contend with>? It may make sense to the casino,s that it is a holiday ,but i agree with spintee. They are open 24 hour,s to take your money there should be no reason why that should not apply to withdrawal,s also? I,am not sure about the casino,s that are facing the euro player,s but here in the state,s the finance dept. are always closed on the week-end,s. I have always thought it to be a real drag. As at least 30% to 50% of my win,s happen on the week-end.s? Anyway everyone have a Merry Christmas and don,t have too much fun! Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

I can dream, but it would be nice if they would start introducing visa cards like a lot of the betting sites are using now, so you can withdraw the cash straight away from an ATM without having to wait for a withdrawal.

Hey,

I had a pending withdrawal this morning at Thrills from yesterday and was told by a livechat agent that the payment department

does not work today due to Christmas and that my payout would be processed early tomorrow morning...

FunFact: It was processed only two hours later, from Santa himself I guess :D

Greetz

Heres a good one, the withdraw that I had been waiting for from 16th still not been processed I have just been told by Chat, even though I was told earlier this week all withdraws had been processed, and withdraws from this week have already been received.
I'm not a happy customer. so my "superfast layouts" will be moving into week 2 after the weekend, is this acceptable for an accredited casino?

Simple answer. Don't play over the Christmas period. Eat, drink and be merry. Spend time with the family, friends etc. Forget paying 4p in the Pound to a remote server for a few days. If their payments are having a few days off, give your Neteller/Card a few days off. Then you'll feel refreshed and have no pending period stress:thumbsup:....

That's easy for those that can but for the rest of us then playing can be something to do to make the time go faster. Happy for your family though Dunny

I'm furious at CasinoJefe right now because I have to wait 5 days for a cashout to Neteller.
No payouts on weekends. If I just have known, but they don't write that in their rules anywhere.
One less customer for them.

Agreed but the thing is xmas is only one day, and may get 1 or 2 chucked in bank holidays, Its the withdraws way b4 people are stressed about that if casino knew there having a few days of than why still the long pending? We know the reason but people treat xmas like back in the 80's, May be getting older lol but its only like a Sunday know days, years ago you was lucky to find a loaf of bread or milk and that was if a corner shop was open,

Know days you can drive to your local tesco or quick pint to find its all going on, Even banks was open yestoday,

Manually check  your casino acount b4 withdraw, Nah mate most have a auto spreed sheet in place, takes two secs to click highest bet, and games alpha order to see if played not alowed games,

I just had a payment on xmas day from a site not even opened yet, 1 day 18rs and that was my first withdraw and uploaded docs onsite, It was over £500 as well

Any way hope you having a good day  Enjoy

That isn't the answer. Why on earth would you want a card attached to every casino you play?

Just get a Neteller account and a Net+ card. Then you can do exactly as you describe from every casino.

I had 2 withdrawals at Videoslots,

- 1 late evening on Christmas Eve - paid in 32 minutes
- 1 early morning Christmas Day - paid in 9 minutes

Both to Ecopayz.

Shows clearly that it is all possible, depends if the casino really cares about its customers and are putting an effort in to make it happen, even on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. :)

Some have automated systems like SV and Paddy Power that pay you instantly without human intervention. The smaller sites don't. Everyone deserves a holiday....:)

I have been waiting 100 hours from Lucky247 (accredited). I put in the withdrawal long before Christmas. It has been a work in progress ever since. Soon the only casino I will be depositing at will be Video Slots. Why give these other casinos a chance to screw around with my money. I won, now pay me.

The difference to him is that unlike casinos that maybe take hours to process withdrawals or even days. Those casinos that have those cards including bookies like William hill you don't need to even ask for a withdrawal. You simply go to cash machine and take money out instantly as long as you have enough in your account to do it.

No pending times and instant access to winnings even on days like Christmas day.

I was playing at Maple Wed night, called them before I withdrew, and it was processed Thursday morning when I got up. Bless their hearts!

I know what rating I would give them. It is now 5 days and counting. Thing that also makes me mad is not even an email from Lucky247 explaining why the delay. This is a small withdrawal of 143 dollars. Do they not realize when they delay it just costs them more money in the long run as they lose customers. They really want you to reverse the withdrawal even though they will tell you otherwise. Of course they will blame Christmas as a reason they are behind but this withdrawal went in 4 days before Christmas so that excuse doesn't fly with me.

Of course they want you to reverse.Exactly what other part of their operation or any other casino's 'slows' down over Christmas or any other time? Deposits are able to be made, all games are able to be played, bonus offers still come out.Strange isn't it that the only thing that suffers is the one thing that removes money from their coffers.
Someone else said earlier in the thread that its a 24/7 365 day a year business and that hits the nail right on the head.Of course people have to get time off, fall sick etc. but if your running a business that operates all the time you have to put things in place that all elements work not just cherry pick the aspects that do in order to create a better bottom line for yourself and create this 'back door stalling policy'.If you don't agree with that imagine each deposit required someone from payments to 'authorise'.Damm sure in that scenario there would be cover 24/7 365.
Not wishing to cross post but there is another thread 'the slow death of the online casino bonus' which I've been reading and one thing strikes me.Give me personally a multi platform casino that pays withdrawals instantly to ewallets (or process's automatically to CC's) like Ladbrokes used  to do and it gets ALL my business.Of course the argument will be raised that i'll stray at the start when I get good offers to play elsewhere but these inevitably dry up once they realise that without a bonus and not being able to offer instant withdrawals all my non bonus play reverts back to my 'instant' site. For me anyway pretty much the only thing that matters is that I will get paid and quickly, the rest is all just smoke and mirrors.

Oh how I wished casinos did process over the Christmas period. I have managed to reverse at least £200 from winning positions because I couldn't be bothered to wait the four bank holidays before anyone even lifts a finger......which in hindsight makes me wonder why the hell I even bloody bothered depositing during this 'festive' period :(

Which is precisely why casinos that cannot deal with withdrawals during this time shouldn't accept deposits either then! Using Christmas as an excuse is just another in a long line of stalling tactics that most players are sick of as it is. Get with the times already!!

I can hear you, happened to me last Christmas.

This year i played at Videoslots and got paid in minutes.

Well I have £475 pending since the 23rd at 32red but I know the score when it comes to their slow withdraws and did not expect any movement from them until after Xmas.
But wont reverse it. And am not desperado for the money so can wait. If I want to play will just make a straight fresh deposit which 32red do allow even with a withdraw pending.

Video slots on the other hand seemed not to have stopped processing had a withdraw Xmas eve as normal under an hour. Cant speak for Xmas day as did not play and no withdraw.

But golden rule never ever reverse - 9 times out of 10 it does not work in your favor.

It's not the same. You still have to wait days/hours for the casino to process the withdrawal to the Neteller card.

With the current betting sites you do it all yourself. Customer support don't get involved at all.

You win $$$'s on the site, you transfer the amount you wish to withdraw across to the attached card balance on the site, and then you can withdraw it from the ATM immediately if you want. Takes less than a minute to have the money you've won withdrawn from an ATM and into your pocket. There is no waiting time.
