lol... , It scares me not knowing what there like as they are my biggest advertised brand as an affiliate , and the worry is that if something is to go wrong they may just close my aff Account and then all my hard work was for nothing?

lol, sorry, what hard work? putting up a link? you've just told me you know nothing about them, don't have any rep to speak of, don't know if they're trustworthy?

Ye sorry about that i said that wrong.... , I started promoting them straight away to be honest just because 'Sky' is a high rated brand and didnt think for one minute that they would half ass something.... , but to date ive heard of no problems etc so my punt to date is correct

Just thought id have a quick check here to gain some more knowledge as my aff account is getting pretty serious now..

 the creatives and aff coded links are the easy part; the hard part is getting your customers/members to trust you, your affiliates to trust you, building a personal rapport with the afiiliates, doing TONS of leg work; signing up any affiliate is easy, you just fill in the form at the bottom of the page...why should anyone really much worry if an affilliate screws you over; what can you do on your end to protect your members if they have a complaint or they get screwed....throw your hands up and say 'hey, well, I didn't know if they were rogue or not'?

I do all the leg work etc... Like i said Before , Sky has a very good reputation as a brand and then they launch a Casino , Poker, Sports book , Bingo , I would personly bet that Sky will keep a good high reputation,

I do alot of leg work with my customers , Which is one of the reasons i joined Meister , to get alot more knowledge on the industry,

We do have valued customers and they do trust us.

but you just finished telling me you promote this casino and generate more traffic to them than anyone, yet don't even have your own forum rep and wonder if they're even reliable; shouldnt the process be: determine theyre reliable, work closely with the affiliate reps and managers, determine theyre trustworthy THEN push them?

Ahh no sorry , We also have other advertised Casinos , But its the Sky Creatives that have attracted more than offers , We havent marketed Sky solely,
But out Sky affiliate Account has overtook our over Aff Accounts ,(Which we didnt Expect)

So now we have decided to have a proper look into them (you are right we should have done this before hand,But.. better late than never hey)

And just wanted some feedback from the members here.

Well, looking at the software, maybe shift your focus to better known casinos with a solid history; Bet365 comes to mind, Intercasino another. Personally, I know nothing about SkyVegas, and I've been around the block. I'm curious, can you pm me your site name? (Can he do that Bryan..if I'm asking, he's not poaching)

We advertise them casinos anyway, Its just the fact that for some reason Sky vegas has took over the others. But saying that we do have their slot games featured now and also videos of the 2.6 mil winner,

Why are you curious ? :)

dude, there's like over a dozen on a cursory look, both on the main page and forum....you'd have to pay me to point them all out lol....when you're adding copy just run the content through any one of a dozen spell-programmes; if for some bizarre reason your computer doesn't have one, there's loads of free ones online

Lol thanks ,

.

I remember that Sky Betting & Gaming signed an agreement with NetEnt last year (October). The press release stated that NetEnt should supply gaming content to their site skyvegas.com.

Although can not remember seeing any NetEnt games there yet, so not sure when/if this will happen.

I know they're a (predominantly) Cryptologic casino, but that's about it. I use Intercasino (awful bonuses and services at times for sure) but theyve always paid. I'd be curious to know more
Actually that's wrong: they stared out as a WagerWorks (IGT) Casino and after several years started adding games from other providers. Crypto are some of the most recent additions - and I believe they only have a handful of them.

To answer the OP:
I have been an on-and-off player there since I signed-up 2006 - so they've been around at least 7 years.
They are part of SkyBSB - the supplier of satellite TV to the UK - a MASSIVE company.
I've never had any problems with them as a player - IMO they are 100% good to go.
I have had a few issues on the affiliate side - but nothing major and all is OK now.
The only question I can't answer is why they are not listed on CasinoMeister...

Ye thats what i thought KK , When i looked the the accredited section i couldn't believe it as i thought they were going to be listed as rogue.
But then i realised they just were not here at all lol.

I knew I recognised the name, couldn't remember what the issue was.

Note: I have no clue what went on here one way or the other, just linking the thread as it made for interesting reading at the time.

I Remember that promotion with the 10% Cash back, I myself had a little go over the live chat , But in the end they were right and they also gave me a link to the terms and conditions which stated that its 10% of net losses,

Regarding the slot , id already heard of that , its very rare that happens but in this case it did , they addressed the players about the situation , and if im not mistaken the newsletter i got from them explained that all players playing the slot will be getting all moneys played paid back to there account with some sort of bonus.

Its a b*ch that it happend though i wouldnt be happy either , but it happend ,

CasinoMeister only lists a fraction of all the 1000s of different online casinos out there.
Some of the ones he doesn't list are superb IMHO, but similarly many are roguest of the rogue.

That is why this forum is such a wonderful resource for players - even if a casino is not on any of CM's lists, as simple post about the casino will usually bring lots of feedback from the other members. Some will even go off investigating for you if they don't already know the answers. It's great here!

well, now I know ;)
but they don't take Canadians, so now I don't care lol

Cant see SkyVegas listed on accredited or Rogue. Why is this?

Anybody Had any bad experiences with them?

Or has anybody had good times with them?

I`ve used them for years, never once have I had a problem with them, there have been some situations involving them along the way, but, none of these affected me in anyway so I cannot comment on the outcomes of them.

Hey All,

I am the affiliate manager at Sky Vegas. I have to say there is no specific reason we haven't been listed on casinomesiter to date but this thread comes at an uncanny time as we have been speaking with casinomeister for a couple of weeks now and we should be added to the Baptism by Fire section imminently.

Sky Vegas is owned by bskyb which is in-turn part owned by News Corp (headed by Rupert Murdoch). We are a UK based gaming company and our casino is licensed and registered in Alderney. In terms of game selection, we take games from many different providers and plug them into our site. We don't have a download product as per a Playtech etc, instead with take Novomatic, Ash games, Crypto etc and list them on our site to played directly on site.

Hopefully that answers a few of the questions raised in this thread.

May I ask you if Sky Vegas is planning on adding NetEnt games soon?
