Disgusting new slot on Sky...... Have to build up the game to get to the advertised RTP, which starts at a filthy 70%

This is a joke and another reason why this industry is a disgrace at present

Yep, Cry Vegas have found a new way to rob the unwary, given that most players play a few hundred spins on a slot when they try it, that adds up to a shocking 30% house edge on quite a bit of turnover at their casino.

These slots which have progressive natures in regard to unlocking a decent RTP should be banned ASAP. I'm not on about games like TS2 where features are unlocked while the RTP remains constant, I'm on about where to get any sensible RTP you need to invest cash first. Then you've got to hope that when you do get to the fabled 96.02%, you can recoup most or all of the inevitable losses you incurred at the filth stage preceding it.

Notice how the scam uses the RTP of 70% as the come-in figure, as any lower would be illegal in the UK. If they could get away with it, they'd start at 60%. I really hope the Useless Kowtowing Gormless Club will act against this sort of shysterism.

I think i know exactly what kind of slots you are talking about.
:p

On a sidenote, any idea what the rtp is while the multipliers are at 0?

Actually it's balanced, as you will notice that wins are far more frequent the lower the multipliers are.

Oh ok, i thought the rtp in the basegame increased when the multipliers went up.
I just assumed thats how it worked from the little ive seen, i think it was Bandit that played it a bit around the time of its release.
Never really played it much myself, i gave it a go when it was released and it took something like 300x from me before the bonus landed, and i got almost all of it back from the feature, so i ran and never looked back.

Just another game exploiting the outdated methodology used by game testing houses.

Doing a single session of a billion spins is no longer an acceptable way to test RTP, same for games with multiple accumulators.

Start testing 100,000 sessions of 100 spins and you'll then see the true RTP players are getting.

Dodgy as fuck.

You make an excellent point.
This had never occurred to me - but is obviously correct.

I get a feeling skyvegas have definitely gone downhill, you don't see them recommended as much as before. They were running a high profile tv advertising campaign about 2 yr back.

Their customer loyalty program has 'jumped the shark' what next some 1p 1 line spins on book of ra, lol. This is what happens when mr scrooge the accountant gets control of things, they lose customers and then look for cost cutting measures.

The uk firms obviously look at each other's promo offers and freebies, I did a w.hill survey recently and they asked me to rate their offers against the other places i play, i answered slightly better, anything more and the buggers will use that as market research evidence to cut back.

To be fair, William Hill Bonus Drop has too gone to the dogs. Deposit £20 for your 50p worth of spins now :D

I seem to win on it fairly regularly, compared to coral's prize picker which tends to lose even though it's like one 10p spin on the tightest slot they could find. I don't even bother with it now, it's an insult to time and bandwith.

Edit: They have the cheek as well to advertise it on the tv, during these hardened times non gamblers are going to be tempted to sign up by something in reality which will give them either a single 10p spin prize or nowt.

Hills by far the best place for bonus offers. Miles ahead of anything UK related.

Sky was always ok until they got taken over by flutter group.

Awful now.

That's what tilted me to quite SV. Lost £500 on Bonanza one day, span the wheel and got 5 fucking pence. Yes, 5p, one ten-thousandth of my losses back.
Yeah it’s so bad, I gave sky most of my deposits but getting a 5p bonus is absolutely insulting also after crazy deposits and obviously losing on bonanza got an email to say you have a box bonus waiting in your account.. thought finally a bit of loyalty from them only to open it for a 10p spin ...

I remember the days (in the not so distant past) when SV used to give you a decent cash bonus with a 1x wager, or 100% deposit matches with tiny turnover requirements.

Used to get £5 bonuses chucked at me regularly.

No idea what happened.

Yes, I remember the halcyon days of SV too. I mean, what fucking use is 5p? It's almost impossible to find a game where you could even get one spin or go on for that, about as useful as a chocolate tampon. There should be rules IMO that mean if you're going to incentivise players with prizes, they should actually be practical. 5p, I ask ya...
