Silly Season Kicking in ! Whats your plans ?

Start of Decemeber (depending where you are in the world at this moment) and mad rush will slowly take shape and form and all kinds of idiotic behaviour

I love how the streets become decorated and all glittery/sparkly and pretty.

Always wanted to experience a white Christmas but here in Australia depends from year to year but often it can be miserably hot
What do people do, plan to do leading up to Christmas, if anything ?

I've heard it can get as low as 18 degrees centigrade in parts there must be awful :lolsign:

Some years at Xmas it can be easily 35+ Degrees, Celcius. That and cooking roast dinners etc is just so CRAP lol.

One yr was the best Xmas ever, was a record for lowest temp and coldest Xmas and Dec, think it got to only like 14 degrees, was like a miserable winters day, was brilliant !

You should lobby the government to put the seasons the correct way around like they are here. At least you lot don't drive on the wrong side of the road like the Americans and most Europeans A Brit taking their car across the channel is a daunting prospect. We had winter in March this year, which government minister came up with that stupid idea

Same irrational frenzy of buying crap we don't need, presents people don't want and overfeeding ourselves. Nothing's changed, just the year. Christmas in the UK starts at the beginning of October and now encompasses thanksgiving (harvest festival here) Halloween and Guy Fawkes night. I put minimal effort in apart from cooking a nice spread on the day and ordering everything online. Not a shop will be visited.
