What is really uncool is when this forum is used either to generate traffic, or to bolster a presence on the Internet via shills and spammers. This is not the first time we've caught shills in our forum from Casinofan.com...

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive...

For those not up to snuff on some of the forum lingo, here is a pretty good definition of what a shill is:

A shill is a person who is paid to help another person or organization to sell goods or services. The shill pretends to have no association with the seller/group and gives onlookers the impression that he or she is an enthusiastic customer. The person or group that hires the shill is using crowd psychology, to encourage other onlookers or audience members (who are unaware of the set-up) to purchase said goods or services. Shills are often employed by confidence artists.

Some of you may remember a thread from last summer when Casinojan was busted out in this forum for spamming and shilling.
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/spammers-name-and-shame-time.33048/

The spammer was named, shamed and banned. I thought that was the last time we'd hear from Casinofan.com. Well...I was wrong. Here we have a "new" MissB (there is no space between the Miss and B).

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/

It's the same person. When you are banned, you are banned. Don't come back.

And then we have other associated accounts - and this is a real shame since at least one of these members was active and seemed to be getting along with others. Perhaps this was part of the scheme.

LuckyLizzy made what seemed to be an innocent post here:
Thanks for the warning. Does anyone know anything about Southbeachbingo.com? The site seams cool but has anyone ever played there? I have never played bingo online.
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/just-a-warning-to-other-bingo-players.38050/

And yet at Casinofan.com she is pushing it here:

South Beach Specials For Every Day of the Week
There is always something special going on every single day at the world's leading online bingo site, SouthBeachBingo.com.

The daily promotions are as follows: blah blah blah...

A quick Google search gives me this page:
Link Removed (invalid URL)

It's a press release by....(drum roll please)...Lou Fabiano. The presumed owner of SouthBeachBingo.com and Casinofan.com

Luckylizzy made another coy post here:

I think 4Spades.com seams like a pretty neat site for Spades. It just takes you to Spadester though but I liked the information it gave on strategy and stuff like that. There is a whole page for frequently asked questions too I am going to look around and try a few other places out. I think I know someone who plays on one site but I cannot remember the name. I will ask her tonight what it's called. She is totally addicted to it and has so many friends from the chat room in it. Lol! Will let you all know when I ask her.

I did a Google search on 4spades.com and guess what - another article written by Lou Fabiano, and <gasp!> 4spades.com is in his signature:

For shits and giggles, one can meander over to Casinofan.com's forum and witness these characters shilling these websites in the guise of real players. I guess some people either have too much time on their hands, or they're being paid to do this. It sounds like someone having a conversation with himself..

Here we have Jazzyjay initiating a thread that leads to the plugging of Southbeachbingo.

xhttp://www.casinofan.com/board/recmmended-bingo-software/22-who-has-best-bingo-software.html

Jazzyjay's IP is identical to another member benjaminw who has a Lou Fabiano owned website email address.

Jazzyjay's IP address is also identical to the Professor's

So what the hell? It's time for these people to find another line of business like selling shoes or Amway or something that doesn't involve online gaming.

How sad and pathetic

I wondered how that Lizzy had so much insight(sp) to/from one of the recent gaming conventions as I remember that post. It was a very informative post.

Of course, when I see Liz and Orlando, I was not thinking about Fabiano or Mickey Mouse. Rather Eduun, Fcat, Sosad, DJackson, Marc Jacobs, Kay_ _ _ _ (can not recall the #'s), Mercy, Casi whatever!! Did I miss any??

Don't I deserve some rep points or brownies for taking my 30 day vacation (should have been 7 days or so btw,:p) as sentenced???:D

are those the 'special' brownies Max?

_All_ brownies are "special" if you ask me. :eat: :lick:

(Sorry for the silly derail  )

I guess when you need to make money, you look for new ways to do so. I honestly think these people come here to CS because it is a large site and has a good reputation. Needless to say they always get caught, end up looking like idiots to the whole forum and then start crying, "What did I do wrong." Or go on to bash the site for bogus reasons to try and make them look good.

Thanks for the heads up!

LH

yeah we banned them a few days ago:D
we caught them a week ago an wasn't sure what to do:confused:
an we went ahead an banned them its the only way to go:thumbsup:

GoWildCindy:rolleyes:

Luckylizzy has apologized - I've accepted and reopened Lizzy's account with the understanding that all Fabiano's properties are off limit topics for her.

With people like Lou Fabiano in this business, no wonder so many people think everything is rigged or a scam.

I have also heard from a trusted source that Lou's new aff sites are blackjackdoc/crapsdoc/roulettedoc etc. Looks like he is an aff for c-planet(Rushmore). My source could be wrong... but I don't think so.

BTW - Good catch CM!!!

My Response

I noticed at Casinofan, Lou has responded to this thread. I thought I would take this opportunity to respond back since I think that he has misunderstood what exactly is going on.

The Hate Continues from Bryan Baily AKA Casinomesiter
Some people hate just to hate apparently. One of our staff Lucky Lizzie was banned by Bryan this morning over at Casinomeister and slandered as a shill. He previously did this to Miss B also.
There is no slander involved when I point out the fact that Miss B was banned for spamming last year, and opened another account. LuckyLizzy was banned for making shill posts, and I explained exactly what they were. That is a fact - that's not slander. By the way, Luckylizzy's account has been reinstated. She apologized, and I accepted the apology. Not much hate there I think

Well, for some unknown reason Bryan has made it a personal mission to try to damage my reputation and cannot let me exist on HIS internet.
Lou, I don't have a personal mission with you. In fact, your undertakings are pretty much off my radar, unless of course you are sending shills to this forum, or deceiving players or webmasters with your antics. It's not MY Internet - but this is MY forum. And to go further with this, this forum belongs to the Casinomeister community. You disrespect our members when your employees spam this board.

Bryan, Casinofan.com has been up for many years. We market casinos much as you do. I do have a very small staff of writers. Miss B is Bianca, one of my daughters. Elizabeth is a very sharp young writer we brought on over a year ago. Since both are relatively new to the internet they are learning about the industry and gaming in general on forums much as anyone else would. They meant you no harm and your attack was uncalled for.
There was no attack. You need to reread my original post. An attack would have included comments of you being a crook. I didn't say any such thing. And when if you are trying to compare marketing between our sites, you are comparing apples with coffee cups. There is no comparison.

Bryan we have known each other for years. We have sat together cordially and chatted at many of the events CAP produced. I always posted respectfully and praisingly about you and your efforts to protect players at CAP. Anyone who wants to verify this can do a search at CAP and will find this to be the case. I have pictures of you and I together. You sat with me and my wife in Barcelona and chatted for an hour and NOT ONCE over all those years did you indicate to my face that you had such a burning hatred for me. I find it a total mystery why you would as a I never wronged you.
No need for the drama, and Lou - your memory deceives you. I can count the number of times we have met on one hand. Bahamas 2003 (a 15 second howdydo), CAC 2003 (another 15 second howdydo). In Barcelona - we met twice. Once at the Club World/Rushmore party where we chatted for several minutes (not an hour), and the following year at the hotel bar. The last time we met was at the CAP awards 2009 after the CAP implosion. Our chit chat was cordial, but only lasted a few minutes. I didn't feel it was necessary to bring up the Cardspike and CAP stuff during the last time we met. I figured you'd been through enough.

You state you have spoken highly of me at CAP, but apparently you forgot your tirade at the GPWA when I quit there years ago:
https://www.casinomeister.com/static/newsletter/2003/24april2003.html

The private section contained a +20 page thread at the GPWA where you bashed me personally calling me a Nazi and having an unnatural relationship with Vortran, amongst other things. You were an active participant - and there are a number of webmasters here that remember those comments.

But for me, that's water under the bridge.

I will advise my people now and in the future to steer clear of your site so you wont have to BAN them without cause.
Ban them without a cause? We have strict rules in this forum against spam and shill posts. Your employees have breached these rules - there is no doubt about that. Luckylizzy has been permitted to stay by the way.

Bryan, like you, I have to earn a living. I am just trying to feed my family. I am raising children and have a wife and two elderly mothers I support. For the love of god LIVE AND LET LIVE. I never did ANYTHING to YOU.

That's all I have to say on the subject.
Sure, earn a living - I don't have a problem with that. It's when you use deceptive marketing tactics and/or abuse this forum that I will take a stand and put a stop to it. Using shills is unorthodox, unethical, and anyone with an ounce of scruples cannot condone this. Apparently you don't get it. It is dishonest - it is based on lies and deception, and in no way should it be an instrument to put food on the table.

There is the right way to do things and a wrong way. Unfortunately, it seems that you have chosen the wrong path to take when it comes to marketing online gaming. No hate here - just some straightforward comments and some good advice.

well put meisterman!

however, i would like to read the tirade... the link leads me to an old newletter...
That was my announcement that I was leaving the GPWA in 2003. I posted virtually the same thing in their forum where I was immediately banned and lambasted. The +20 page thread was in the private webmaster's section which may have been deleted since then. But a number of the childish comments were forwarded to me by my webmaster buddies which prompted this response from me:
https://www.casinomeister.com/static/newsletter/2003/2may2003.html

But this is seven years old, and the GPWA is under different ownership and management. Nevertheless, Casinomeister will never join another organization ever again.

Sorry to anyone I offended here. It wasn't my intentions at all and I did come to this site because I want to learn more about this industry and also to help whenever I can. I now know that saying anything about the sites I work for is off limits and I completely understand.

I do want to make friends here and hope that you all will accept me. This job is very important to me and I really enjoy what I do.

The only time I recall mentioning any sites was in a bingo thread where I asked about a site I promote but have never played at. I just recently started to play bingo online since my mother in law enjoys it. I was honestly just trying to get feedback from others who know about it, which I did get a very good answer from dynamitewoman! Thanks :)

I promise to be good and thank you very much for letting me come back!

I believe the injured innocence and victim angle used before by Lou is well past it's sell-by date and really needs to be abandoned.

And trying to gloss over this incident by claiming some sort of personal vendetta involving Bryan seems a little thin and frankly out of character to me.

The fact is that a reasonably covert attempt (clearly not quite subtle enough ;)) was made to shill the forum when the person standing behind the shill clearly knows better, even if the shill herself was relatively new and apparently ignorant...and that's enough justification for the owner of the site to take exception and hand out a ban.

Play by the ethics and within the rules and there should be no need for correction or embarrassment.

I am not sure if this matters at all but Lou did not send me here. I came of my own accord when he said that we should be active members in casino and online gambling forums so that we could gain knowledge of the industry through them and if permitted, add a signature to the bottom to get links for the site. He sent us to GPWA only.

I actually didn't even know what a shill was until I looked it up on wiki. I wasn't hired to be deceitful and I fully agree that honesty is always the best policy. I promise never ever to be shilly again in my life.

I just want to learn the ropes of this industry at one of the best forums there is on the internet.

One more thing is that I don't know anything about what happened and I have chosen not to read any of the posts out of respect for my boss. It wouldn't feel right to me to dig up the past. You know what I mean? It just feels sneaky.

Oh but I did briefly see one that was at the bottom of the forum by accident. I didnt read the whole thing though cuz it didnt feel right.

No disrespect, but for me, I'd sure want to know a little about the person/people I'm working for.

I really had to laugh when I read Lou's post on his CasinoFan forum about this...

Talk about being a HYPOCRITE!!

When Lou was the "head honcho" on the CAP forum... (before he himself was banned from the CAP forum)... Lou banned NUMEROUS people from there.

If someone dared to question Lou about a decision he made... BANNED!!

If someone posted a beef with an affiliate program that Lou had "certified"... BANNED!!

Lou even banned a CAP member (The CPA) because he owned the website where I had posted some "derogatory" comments about Lou.

Lou BANNED J.Todd... and Affiliate Guard Dog Andy... from CAP... because they wouldn't agree to "only post on CAP"...

And Lou even BANNED GPWA owner Michael Corfman from the CAP forum... out of spite... after J.Todd became a partner with the GPWA.

To add insult to injury... Lou would change the avatars of CAP members he banned... to silly things like "clowns"... or a person in a "jail uniform".

But now "Poor Lou" is "upset" that his Lou-Puppets are being banned... :sob:

I noticed that on the GPWA forum alone... that "Tricky Old Lou" has had at least SIX "family members or friends" register and post on there... And EVERY ONE of them have links posted that go to LOU'S "casinofan" site and his Poker site.

If someone had done this same thing on the CAP forum when "good old Lou" was head honcho on the CAP forum... they would have been BANNED within minutes.

And now Lou cries:

Bryan, like you, I have to earn a living. I am just trying to feed my family. I am raising children and have a wife and two elderly mothers I support.

Gee... maybe we could all send "Poor Lou" a few dollars so his family doesn't starve...

Oh... wait a second... what happened to the "3 MILLION DOLLARS" that Lou publicly posted about... and claimed his former partner Warren Jolly "stole" from him... money that was socked away from the $50,000 fees that affiliate programs paid to Lou to be "CAP CERTIFIED"??

I'm sure you could feed the family for awhile on that, Lou.

And I guess we can only hope that the "morals & ethics" that Lucky Lizzie, and the others in your "group" hopefully have... weren't learned from YOU, Lou... as the whole CAP FIASCO proved to everyone that you are devoid of any "ethics & morals"... and you are nothing but a BLACK EYE to the online gaming industry.

Excellent post about good, old Lou. A lot of newer members here do not know about Lou and his "antics". Hopefully, they will understand and not post and/or click on any of the websites that Lou controls.

As far as Bryan letting Luckielizzie back, I am disapponted but, at least everyone can keep an eye out for her and any scammy posts.

What a business this is!!! :(

It was bullshit childish banter that everyone could see.

Yeah I clearly remember the shit hauling back at each other.

he has locked me out of my bank accounts and email addy's and there nothing I can do..

then a week later we find the happy family on facebook typing to each other.

the good thing is there is always a trail to follow- go and follow lou's trail and you tell me what comes back.

Definitely one of the most unprofessional and embarrassing incidents in the often lively history of affiliate marketing...from both CAP participants back then.
