Screen Shots that Suck!

Talking about crypto I got dealt 4 red aces in 1 hand twice yesterday. I grabbed a screenshot the second time. (I should have played the progressive would have been thousands!!)

That is an unbelievable Jackpot for a 5c JOB machine. That cannot be right surely  Even a $1 machine would never get that high

Perhaps it is a slot machine rather than a VP one.

If not all players should pile in because I think there is probably a player edge.
The pay table looks very generous to me and may deliver a player edge notwithstanding the jackpot. Can Grandmaster confirm?

I would have thought you can only get the jackpot playing max bet?

I did play max bet ... 5 coins at 5 cents apiece = 25 cents.

No, it's a Video Poker game. At least that's what they claim ...

And, yes, there have been other people who have brought up the generous pay table and asked the casino how they can do something like that on a "10s or Better" machine ... no real answer was given.

I haven't got software for the Ten or better, so I did it for Jacks or Better with the same paytable. If the machine really paid out $34857.39 on a 25c bet, it would have a theoretical payout ratio of 666%. I think it is more likely that the jackpot only applies if you are playing five $5 coins, and the return is still above 101%, even ignoring the payout on pairs of 10's. Which casino was it, or at least what kind of software?

Held the K and the Ace and got dealt this hand ... the 10 of Spades would have meant a Jackpot win of $34,000!! :(
Hmmm,I am a bit suspicious. Normally,a tens or better VP machine will pay 5x for a flush and 6x for a full house. The paytable is way too generous.

With a royal jackpot like that, this thing is way over 100% return. 9/6 is close enough at like 99.5%, but then you have a 120,000coin return on a royal??

I dont think that Jackpot can be for a max bet at $0.05c - When you look at the denominations at the bottom it goes to $5 and i would suspect that thats what earns the Pot. The $0.05 max bet proably earns an aggregated amount (ie Pot / 100) at a guess.

You may be right ... I was curious and found this under their "Jackpot" section on their Help menu:

At Va-Bank Online Casino all slots and all video poker machines have a special jackpot. Minimum amount of jackpot in the Casino is $25,000. Jackpot terms vary for each game.

Jackpot size depends on the game you choose. Amount of winning directly corresponds to the size of your bet. The amount of jackpot corresponding to the maximum bet is listed in every game. When wagering a smaller amount the jackpot will be reduced proportionally.

And this under their Help in the 10s or Better game, which directly confirms your thoughts, Simmo:

The sum of a winning at the winning of the jackpot directly depends on the amount of the bet of the player. Completely jackpot is paid during the game on the maximal bet (five dollars). During the game on other bets, jackpot is paid in corresponding proportions.

Maybe I would have been paid $340 instead of $34,000. :D

If you use the strategy for Microgaming 10's or Better for this game, it should pay about 105%. Russian casino with excessively high payout, do you trust it to be truly fair and random?

Ladies night

i dont have a screenshot... but this was terrible!!! 720 spins on ladies night, not one feature!!!! unbelievable!!!

few decent wins tho to keep me going left it in end, stayed even, no loss tho .. phew, try tomorrow!!

Ladies Nite has gone VERY mean at all the casinos I play at recently... Could just be bad luck I guess, but it seems to be definitely playing differently than it has been doing over the past few weeks...

One of a few big bets ($100) I've tried at a sticky casino ... but I couldn't pass up a 300% bonus at Golden Palace. Damn no-peek rule on Playtech :axeman2:

You know it's bad when you're posting right after yourself in a thread that contains the word "sucks" ...

Had a hell of a run with just $4 on VP at Vegas Lucky ... I hit everything you could possibly hit except for the straight flush and, of course, the Royal. Would have been nice to hit this one below, I could have gone back to blackjack.

Ah well, still searching for the elusive first RF ....
