Screen Shots that Suck!

Why i don't play a lot of video poker

I saw exactly the same hand, also in diamonds, at a Carribien poker table in AC. A woman seating next to me got $50 insurance bonus for a flush but the progressive at that time was something like 150K. I think it's as close as you can get to a big one.

:what: now i know how some of you feel! this was on 5p play max play=1 on skykings free 5 bonus they gave me..... no point posting other picture (coz i forgot to save it!!! :( ) any way suffice to say i realised the chance of a straight or wild straight or royal was good along wiv a flush... i got nothing... nadda not a sausage!!!!!!!!

Its a bummer when thet happens - you get all excited and nada. The odds of getting a Royal (wild or otherwise) on that hand are about 40% though for what its worth.

That is really unbelievable, I wonder what the odds are for both players to draw 4ok in Cyberstud Poker.

How many hands get played on online casino stud poker? I think you have to expect the odd 1 in a (few) million chances to come up. A bunch of hands like this coming up, though - now that would be very different.

I once beat four of a kind tens with four of a kind jacks in (online) 5 card stud. 5 stud didn't even qualify for the bad beat jackpot on the site, so the other player was really pissed.

aka RIGGED.

I wouldn't throw around the word rigged unless lot's of people had the same thing happen. An unusual event happening once in a while is exactly how it is supposed to be.

Ok... I'm sat waiting for a bonus to be loaded into my account at a different casino, so thought I'd kill a few minutes by "playing for fun"... Not real money, pretend credits... I wish I hadn't.

Why has this never happened on the sixty five billion real spins I've had!?!?!?!?!?

(Looks pretty though, eh?)

A dangerous game Slotty :( The only good thing about playing for fun is going 300 spins with bugger-all. Sets you up with a feelgood factor for the real-deal!

Heh hee... The only consolation I suppose is that I almost certainly wouldn't have been playing 45 a spin... Mind you, I very likely would've been playing 4.50 or even 9.00 - so that's at the very least a couple of grand... Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!

Brain Scatter!

Normally, when we're playing 'bonus' slots, we're all shouting at the screen, begging for the scatter symbols to drop in. (Go on - admit it: you do it too!)

But I didn't realise until this hit, that on some of the multi-line Crypto slots, 4 or even 5 scatters only give you exactly the same as 3 - i.e. entry into the bonus feature. What a bummer!!! :(

argh.....that's the one good thing about 3 card poker; even if the dealer doesn't qualify you still get paid for the pair+...never did like caribbean stud.

Man, some (most?) days I hate this game.

I was dealt 7-1, split, and doubled the 11 on the left hand.

Note that on both hands when I got a 12 I took a hit. This is actually NOT correct strategy (you're supposed to stand vs. the dealer showing a 3) but the dealer seemed to be refusing to bust this session so I went with superstition... and I was feeling pretty pleased with my decision and the results. Briefly.

It was not a bad session overall, I made a small profit, but it could have been a really good one if the dealer had qualified on that hand. I don't play much Caribbean Stud, my usual experience is that when I have a pair, it gets beaten by a higher pair, if I have 2 pair or higher the dealer does not qualfy. I was just playing it because it was one of the best games allowed for the bonus I was playing, but I forgot about 3 card poker.

Overquads in Caribbean? I've actually lost to this in a live casino :(

$100 bonus bet payoff, -$30 ante and raise. :(

Isn't the house edge quite higher on caribbean 21?
Lately, yes. :)

Actually it is theoretically one of the best games you'll find in a casino due to the liberal splitting, doubling, and surrender rules.

the house edge is only 0.19%. But man, I sure see some horrid beats... in particular the 10's seem to come and go in waves, to the player's detriment.

(It's about the only game I play without a bonus... I'm allowed to be superstitious. :))
