RTG casino's removing withdrawal options

So all of a sudden starting today (when I noticed) clubworld casino's have removed instadebit as a withdraw option. I hope Tom sees this and can offer a explanation to us Canada peeps cause this sucks. I can use moneybookers but I have to pay a big wire fee from my bank now and it takes a couple of more days.

Other groups have even removed moneybookers! so you have next to nothing as options anymore without meeting a high minimum withdrawal limit or pay high fees for certain options and waiting weeks.

So before you play at a casino make sure your withdraw method is still there before you deposit.

It suggests severe problems with those withdrawal options. Usually, when US players see a withdrawal option vanish without explanation, they should be very wary of keeping funds in that particular wallet. When it vanishes as a deposit option, time to REALLY worry, and also time to clear out anything you have in that wallet.

First we have long term payment delays, even for no US players, then we have withdrawal options vanishing without explanation. This IS showing us that things are not as they should be, and the loss of Instadebit, along with the observation that many of the non-US players complaining of delays at CWC were Canadian, indicates that it is Instadebit that has triggered these problems. Removing it will stop players selecting it, and hence lessen the delays. Maybe the Canadian banks are starting to get awkward about online gambling, and this has caused the problems to spread north from the US into Canada. Another player who complained was from Italy, another country that has tried to block offshore gambling sites.

It suggests that the CWC cashiers are implementing the UIGEA workaround for players outside the US. Tom has already explained how it works for US players. This is that as soon as they see signs that a particular withdrawal method is not delivering funds to players in the expected timescale, they freeze all further processing via that method until the withdrawals already being processed reach the players. They do not trust the processors to deal with the problem in their own time, but fear that something may have gone wrong, and the processor is lying to them in order to keep the money flowing.

However, the disappearance of Moneybookers is an even bigger worry. This falls outside of the banking systems of any country except the one Moneybookers is based in. One possibilty is that CWC have received word that Moneybookers is about to pull out of the Canadian market, so they don't want players caught up in the mess by finding that withdrawals get rejected by Monaybookers, or that they can't access the money once in Moneybookers.

The biggest issue is yet again a lack of communication with the players, they find out one morning when they log on, and now have to try to find out what is going on. Moneybookers users can always try to get an explanation from Moneybookers (good luck with that:rolleyes:).

Very good post Vinyl, ya some communication would have been nice.

The group that removed moneybookers was main street casino's, which we all know the feeling here about them, I was not playing on this group's casino's I just happened to notice that moneybooker's was gone.

Jackpot Capital still has instadebit and moneybooker's as options and hope it stays that way or wonder if the rep from there will let us in if anything is going to happen.

I am not the biggest fan of instadebit since they started to charge a fee of $2.00 but it's about the only option as most credit card's don't work with gambling sites.

Tom mentioned in the other CWC thread that instadebit has been removed because it started crediting players multiple times for a single withdrawal. Ironic really, as now the casino has had a taste of multiple charges for a single transactions, something that many players have been reporting. Of course, CWC can't "chargeback" these additional charges, they have to request the player to fix it from their end:rolleyes:

Why Mainstreet has removed Moneybookers is more of a mystery, but it could be that they are interested mainly in the US market, and don't want to be bothered with servicing deposit and withdrawal options that are of no use to their target market. It is also hard to blame Moneybookers for a 14 day delay in players receiving their money:p
