Hi all,

Ok I will start the thread of by saying this is partly my own fault.
I opened an account at Royal Vegas last week and have been depositing via neteller (which is in USD ) this was fine, however I won some money in the last few days and went to withdraw.
it has the option to withdraw by Neteller, so I did. The next page after I requested the withdrawal was asking me to confirm my residential details for a cheque to be sent:confused:
At this time I started to get suspicious, I went and had a look at there withdrawing options for neteller and saw they only will process withdrawl's in GBP's or EURO's:mad:
I contacted the online chat and they confirmed this ( I dont know why I cann deposit with USD fine but not withdraw, Im in Australia so I dont fall under the USA online gaming laws, even if they do fall under the same laws then they shouldnt be accepting my deposit in USD currency).

I dont want a cheque as it will take to bloody long to get here like ones in the past have.

I saw they make withdrawl's back to moneybooker's in USD currency, I have had a moneybookers account for a year now but never used it AT ALL.
Can I just transfer funds to my moneybookers or do I need to deposit into moneybookers with my own money before they will accept payments from casino;s??
I Also asked the call operator with all vegas if I can just withdraw to money bookers even though I havent deposited with it yet, he didnt know.....

The amount of shit we need to go through just to get paid from online casino's is amazing , but we still do it

P.S- my spelling and Grammer is really bad, sorry for that guys-

I've never screwed around with the wallet methods of withdraws, but from my experience with other MG's they won't W/D to a webwallet unless you make a deposit from there first.. they use the guise of verification as the reason. Which I've always thought is a steaming load of BS because it's your money and if you want to send it to someone elses account you should be able to.

I've always done my Fortune Lounge cashouts via ACH which after the first is 3 days MAX.

This is getting beyond a joke. You have done the right thing by selecting the US Dollar, as many casinos now have these regional currency restrictions. Had you used the Euro, or in particular the UK Pound, at some casinos you would have winnings confiscated for NOT using the dollar.

This industry seems to be on some kind of "suicide mission", it can't really support US players, and it is now screwing around with it's remaining non-US markets.

Not only would a cheque take ages, but it would probably be in US Dollars, which would cost extra in bank fees.

Probably the easiest option would indeed be to defect to Moneybookers, and make a deposit first. This should be checked with support first, as they may well say they can only pay the amount deposited back to Moneybookers, and the original withdrawal would STILL be by cheque.

I have played in the past at 7 Sultans, which only offers the US Dollar, and had no trouble withdrawing back to Neteller, so something must have changed, and it might just be a problem with Neteller where the customer has an account in US Dollars. It could be part of the "deal" struck with the US to get them off the hook in that court case, where they agreed to pay a ransom to the DoJ to get their founders back.

If this is a Neteller issue, then it would affect other players who play in Dollars, which means the likes of MiniVegas and Playshare have just closed themselves to much of the non-US market, as their rules dictate play must be in Dollars outside of the UK and EU.

Moneybookers does not need for you to make a deposit to a casino before you can receive payments from them... neither does Neteller.

The casino may ask you to confirm your details by making a deposit, but if they were to say that it's requirements set by the web wallet, they would be lying.

Hi my withdrawl from vegas palms same group the other day.

First time playing at this casino

Made most off my deposits by moneybookers.

But made my last by credit card.

Withdrawl by moneybookers and i got it in MB account less than two days over the weekend.

Also in the withdrawl email i got it says that is this is your first withdrawl or you have only been here a short time we may send a cheque.

And i live in the uk playing with dollars.

So does this neteller rule, Rule over my account to?

Cant remember for sure, But i think Royal Vegas has sent me a cheque in the past.

I have only ever had this problem at Roxy Palace, where they insisted on sending a cheque for Neteller deposits. They claimed it was done in error, and that I should have had no problem being paid by Neteller.
This does seem to look like delaying tactics, rather than policy from the eWallets. With a cheque, the casino can expect to keep hold of the money for it's cashflow for anything up to an extra month, whereas with a webwallet payment, they have to release the funds within a day or two at the most.

This policy will backfire, as players increasingly believe that the sole purpose of these "games" is to frustrate the player's desire for a quick and easy withdrawal process, which is of great benefit to the casino, and of no benefit at all to the player. Casinos will earn interest on the money for an extra month, and will also benefit from impatient players who reverse the withdrawal and lose it.
