New Slot Announcement Roshtein Megaways by GameArt

What do you mean cool with me?

You mentioned that you felt roshtein was not gambling irresponsibly

"
Hes not gambling irresponsibly though.

He repeatedly tells viewers they should never gamble at all as they will lose, but if they do they should only deposit what they can afford to lose.

That advice is solid and constantly repeated, if you actually watched his streams you would know that."

From the brief torment I subjected myself to (watching his vids to see what all the fuss is about a while back) I see he sits there poncing around, making fake facial expressions and BS OTT reactions at ridiculous bet sizes (£40 was in the one I watched) - how on earth is this responsible!!!

Understand how sensible streaming can promote casinos but c'mon this guy in a word is a TWAT

That is what I meant, do you feel that those bet sizes are cool? - If so maybe when his game proves popular you can make a sequel together :p

With all due respect your fucking diluted mate “destructive hobby into a successful career” I wonder how many gamblers have become broke ass due to his irresponsible gambling??

Did he forced gamblers to bet bigger higher or more then they could afford? No. Perhaps sending out the wrong message that "Everyone" can be like him? Yes. Or that his video's are a representation of what's really going on behind the wheels? Yes.

Perhaps take a look at the casino's, game offerings, and how everything is designed to mouse-trap you in. A money-trap. You get in, play a few times, and it takes this just one big hit, to get you hooked.

I always found it odd when playing on a "new casino" like the sky is the limit. Till you hit withdrawl mate. The problem with a streamer like roshstein is that, he's gotta present more of the same "bullshit" over time. So the wins, bets, acting and all that must become bigger in order for him to keep his audience.

Really the only interest of a streamer is to obtain more signups. And keep 'm hooked. Once there's no wins coming from the channel of roshstein, his audience is gone.

If you for example were betting £40 a spin, then it certainly would be cause for concern.

It’s only irresponsible if you can not afford it. His deal with the casino allows him to “abuse bonuses“. Betting high to start with and if it hits, lowering the bet and grinding out the wager by doing a bonus hunt. If he busts the wagering is forfeited and he reloads. If you do the maths, he will make a profit from playing alone.

He is obviously not portraying the reality of gambling since regular players are bound to strict terms and conditions unlike himself. I think streamers should be required to play by the same terms as everyone else and I feel that day is coming.

I’m sure most do think he’s a twat, but a streamers job is primarily to be entertaining. It is a very difficult job which requires a lot of energy, hard work and dedication. It is unfair for someone to be continuously defamed in public when no one is yet to provide any proof of wrong doing.

Put yourself above the parapet you get shot at - it's the same for all the other YT'ers.

I'd have to disagree with that one. £40 per spin is irresponsible, irrespective of said streamer's income, especially in light of the fact it's being broadcast to an audience that eventually start normalizing those stakes.

Entertaining or not it falls well short of RG and is amoral, nor is it relatable to the target audience, most of which, let's be honest, are either in a financial bind from trying to copy these antics, or very close to it

Does this guy get royalties and if so how much could he expect to receive?
Well the 2 games I was involved with I get royalties for but that was ideas/design and depends on the game's take. This I would guess is a one-off fee for the Roshtein image rights, 75 pence or something. :)

I doubt he would be on royalties due to the fact the game developers/designers get those, but you never know. I'm sure it will go down great with 8 or 9 players, but I don't believe GameArt have a MGA or UKGC license so it will feature predominantly in the grey/unlicensed/rogue market.

It is basically just slot porn. An unrealistic portrayal for the purpose of entertainment.

I see your point though and perhaps more people are being influenced by this than I realise. I always felt no one would be stupid enough to try and copy but I suppose there will always be some and it could destroy their life.

Perhaps it is best to just ban it altogether from Twitch and YouTube. I think that will happen eventually so more a question of when.

Agree, unless you're streaming ;)

Addicts, up and coming addicts and novices wil not see past those bets, regardless of personal finances.

He is an irresponsible, B-movie actor, bottom line!

I tried not to but sadly succumb to rosh and his hat.

let’s have it right, it’s not real money it’s not earned money no matter what the rep @homerbert states (I’m sorry it’s very wrong to promote this utter bullshit as real) it’s not...

yes I get it’s ‘entertainment’ but is it? Nope...
It’s a continuous stream of smoke and mirrors.

100k, 60k bonus hunts... give me a break, punch drunk, occasionally drunk but not stupid.

this is a disgrace, £40 spins really? Yes I know affiliates can earn a mint especially the actors on YouTube, but £40 spins and above? Sorry nope, unless your casino backed and it’s a massive lie and playing at genesis, nektan or aspire whom openly offer fake cash, fake accounts to pimp themselves out more shamelessly than Kerry katona.

sadly many people will see this idiocy and think it’s real and possible to make a living from gambling and slots and will lose all they own...

(Nickslots) here even stated publicly that you can earn a living from slots, he didn’t mean via links or affiliation, this utter moron meant on the whole... his comment is still here on casinomeister should I be doubted.

to be literally lying claiming your playing these insane stakes and faking the reactions is absurd, all to earn money from those whom you want to copy you...

Roshtein is a clown, but he’s a very dangerous one, just like chip and the rest...

cant see chip being able to afford £1 a spin prior to fake accounts and rogue casinos working in his call centre, he’s now bragging he’s got a mortgage...

Not just him, the whole lot are earning from lies and misery... fake accounts and acting..

to Think the likes of rosh and co are harmless it’s very far removed from reality.

So a combination of a lying streamer, caught out live, together with a provider who was also caught out running 10,000% RTP in their demo mode.....

Me thinks this is going to be a best seller

Whatever next!
and He will also get a decent $$ from this slot being made :puke:

Tbh he’s a stud, dresses well and clearly doesn’t take himself seriously.

he is actually my favourite streamer, rocks that hat like a boss also..

Heard daz’s next bonanza vid he will be wearing a flat cap...

For those that haven't read it, back in August The Pogg looked into the issue of streamers and the possibility that they are playing with fake money. Worthwhile 2 minutes of your time:

Many people have been playing slots for years yet they still to this day believe they are rigged or that something is just not right with them. The casinos have done every thing they possibly can to prove it is not true yet people still don’t fully trust them.

With that being said, what would it actually take to convince someone a streamer is genuine? If they were given access to all financial records and play logs from both the casino and streamer, would that even work to convince them? They could then simply say the evidence has been manipulated. For this reason I don’t think the issue will ever go away. People will forever be sceptical and it’s good that they are. Being accused of being a frustrated is just part of the job of being a casino streamer.

The problem with that article again is it’s written by someone who doesn’t actually watch Roshtein. The calculations don’t even include the fact he’s playing with unlimited 300% reload bonuses with no max bet restriction or cash out. If a casino were to offer that bonus to all their customers they would go broke. You are lucky to even get a 50% bonus these days with strict terms and if you dare to win just once you’ll get bonus banned for life.

Like I said this debate will go on forever until streaming slots becomes regulated. One solution could be to make it so streamers can not be affiliated or even display the name of the casino. They would therefore have no reason to try and deceive people but instead rely on subscriptions and donation for their income just like all other streamers outside of gambling.

GameArt making a good move. 4 pages discussion about their new release. More pages compared to the past 32 Net Ent releases....

I was in the local Disneyland shop yesterday and I spotted Micky Mouse dolls that where wearing Roshtein watches :p

Something which has always weighed on my mind when Rolla called out all the streamers to show their bank statements etc, is that it's all well and good showing their 'real' deposits as most did, but I don't recall them showing where the money came from. Nick and many others like you to see they are depositing with their own debit card etc which is great, but doesn't disprove the fact they could be paid by casinos to stream for them. That in itself is just a smokescreen round the whole fake money issue, it's genuine money but who is to say they haven't got contracts with casino's to deposit set amounts? I can't believe their deposit funding can come from affiliate revenues alone! Apologies if my points have been discussed and disproved already!

I may have touched on streaming and streamers the odd time, other than that fine points.

If a casino were to offer that bonus to all their customers they would go broke. You are lucky to even get a 50% bonus these days with strict terms and if you dare to win just once you’ll get bonus banned for life.

I covered this in a couple of my videos last year, and indeed said something along the lines of 'If any casinos offered their player base the sorts of bonuses that Roshtein gets, they'd very quickly find themselves bankrupt'.

The key point here is that Roshtein basically plays with free money even if the 'transactions' are genuine, because the bonus situation (which was confirmed here by N1Casino) puts him into a position that no real player can ever, ever achieve.

(For sure, you show me a casino that'll give me infinite 300% reload bonuses, I'll be all over that shit like a cheap suit!)

I also heard from some very credible folks behind the scenes that Roshtein never cashes out anything like what's shown on his streams, and that the casinos he works with basically 'loss limit' each other on the back end to make sure that neither of themselves find they're suddenly in the hole to the tune of some ridiculously massive amount of money.

My conclusion was that it doesn't matter if the money is 100% fake or is 'real money' (to an extent), because the scenario he plays in is completely and utterly unrealistic.

It's morally bankrupt behaviour IMO.

My conclusion was that it doesn't matter if the money is 100% fake or is 'real money' (to an extent), because the scenario he plays in is completely and utterly unrealistic.

And that sums it up. The legitimacy of the money is pretty much irrelevant as the values are so unrelatable as to effectively be play money. Most of us couldn’t imagine playing at those levels and makes me wonder what is so attractive about watching someone playing with no real risk and no real gain above a certain level which probably equates to a, admittedly likely very good, annual wage.

Those who could play at those levels and relate I can’t imagine spending any time watching any streamers. They’d be putting some of their multi millions they earn a year required to play at this level in themselves.

The only time I venture to watch people posting slot play online now is to get a feel for bonuses/play on new slots or ones I’ve never played before.

My final point on this. Anyone who thinks that someone can go from playing 80p to £40 per spin in a matter of 2-3 years and not have something very dodgy going on behind the scenes no matter what that may be is naive at best. And the idea you can absolve yourself of any responsibility by stating you get a bonus, the viewer will lose, don’t do as I do, is laughable.

How would it be a solution? You clearly don't understand the psyche of streamers. They are, or are on their way to becoming, gambling addicts. For their fix they need cash, lots of it. Affiliation gives them this. Whether commission, or a casino monthly fee/bonuses. So their habit is affordable without fraud or theft. A bit like a wealthy smack addict, who can keep high without resorting to crime. Remove the casino sponsorship and affiliate payments then they would see their income plummet by 90%, even if they changed to rely on donations or subs, or YT ads money which is paltry in comparison. So they would drop like flies, apart from the Bandit say who it's said has independent substantial means.

Who would pay money each week to donate to people playing slots and then keeping the winnings if they make some? Who would subscribe to the same, when working for a living and then paying to watch some gibbering tool gamble with their cash?

No mate, without affiliate earnings and casino involvement it would be dead in the water. You might get a few hobbyists like me streaming their regular play for free, but it would be low stakes in general.

They are in it for the money, simples. Not pride, not fame, not glory, but cash. If making themselves known in public is the price to be paid, they'll pay it. If their casino income stopped tomorrow, most of them would either try and fund their play themselves until they went bankrupt, or just stop when they are quits.

I suppose it's more of a legitimate complaint that players like Rosh get unlimited 300% deposit bonuses than trying to falsely claim they're playing with fake money or fake accounts, but he still busts a majority of those deposits ($2k deposit + $6k bonus = $8k balances gone sometimes within 10-15 minutes) proving that deposit bonuses suck most of the time.

Again, what we have here is a bunch of people hating on someone (or a group of someones) they've never actually spent any real amount of time watching for themselves, but instead building a case against based on a few highlight videos and poorly-written articles at competing casino affiliate websites.

In my opinion, hating on casino streamers due to the affiliate model is a bit hypocritical considering this site also has affiliate links and a forum section dedicated to showing off big wins. If everyone is so terrified of building gambling addicts from streamers showing off big wins, then the forum shouldn't show big wins either.

It sounds like you’re describing yourself so probably why you feel this way. Maybe you should take a look at your own behaviour rather than making such accusations about your competitors.

It is clear that this thread was not created by you in good faith to have a genuine discussion about this slot. You knew full well that it would become another shitshow for your cronies to bash Roshtein.

It doesn’t matter how much you despise the guy. At the end of the day Roshtein has not been convicted of any crime and no one has provided any proof that he is anything other than what he claims to be.

If you really are an employee of Casinomeister then you shouldn’t even be creating such threads. You are both competing in the same market and as such this whole thread could be seen as nothing more than an attack to further damage the reputation of one of your competitors.

As for Twitch, you clearly haven’t done your research and learned just how much money can be made from it. Channels with only 200 concurrent viewers can make a living by streaming. I doubt you would make it though. Your channel would be banned for life the moment you refer to the gorilla in raging rhino as Sol Campbell.

You are so far off the mark it's laughable. Firstly, you miss the most obvious distinction that I am NOT a streamer in the first place, merely an occasional player who posts videos on YT of some sessions, which don't show casino logos nor are sponsored in any way. I earn zilch off of YT, don't stream, so how are they my 'competitors'??
Secondly, I post numerous new slot announcement threads, so why not this new Megaways, like all the rest?
Finally, I didn't mention the second-division platform, Twitch; you did. If you're correct, why did the streamers panic so much when YT pulled some of their channels, moving hell and earth to get reinstated, if Twitch is such a gold mine?
Affiliate payments trump everything, it's relatively easy for a streamer of medium standing to get 100-200 NDP's in a weekend, which depending on their Hybrid deal would pay a low 5-figure sum. This might help you understand why there are so many jumping on the bandwagon. In fact, it might help you understand something at all about which you speak.
If we're talking about 'damaging reputations' then perhaps your homework for tonight should be to look for the thread here where R*oshtein was, shall we say, caught with his pants down. Not started by me by the way. :)
EDIT: Speak of the devil, just popped up on my Tw@tter - a streamer saying the same things

Sadly we will no longer be streaming to twitch at the end of this month as the ukgc have decided to ban it for UK streamers. All streams will be on youtube only starting the 1st of October. This won’t affect things financially but it’s still disappointing that we are not allowed.

You remind me of a streamer from gamblers den?

I believe you are all a victim of a firehose of falsehood created by other streamers and affiliates to destroy his reputation for their own financial gain.

Let me explain what I know about Roshtein and why I believe this to be the case.

When Roshtein started streaming his channel really stood out and appealed to many because he was very talented with graphics design. This meant he could create unique content to that of all other streamers and he quickly became popular. For example, he could edit himself into the slot machine to dance along during a bonus. He used animations and special effects making his content visually appealing. It was particularly appealing to the younger generation who were getting bored of the much older streamers.

Roshtein channel grew fast and is now the most popular. At the time, other streamers would say they were happy for him as they understood what a great achievement it was. As time goes on his channel becomes more and more popular and this is when things start to go wrong.

Other streamers were noticing that their viewer count would plummet the moment he started steaming as people would flock over to his channel. Many would even advertise “Roshtein’s streaming!!!!” in the chat before leaving. Obviously the other streamers were becoming annoyed by this as they felt Roshtein is stealing their viewers leaving behind only the most loyal fans of their channel.

Naturally, the conversation in chat is now all about Roshtein and discussed among those who were not fans of his style. This is when the first allegations started. They couldn’t understand why people enjoyed his content and started accusing him of using view bots. The streamers quickly jumped on this idea and soon enough started openly accusing him of this. They now see him as an enemy and many start to ban him from their own channels to make this point. Fans of Roshtein now feel unwelcome in these other channels causing arguments in chat about Roshtein using view bots.

Around this time; for many channels, gambling is no longer financially sustainable. Some of these streamers lost all their savings trying to compete with the other streamers. It felt like there was a race on to see who can get the biggest wins and bet the highest. Many lost everything and some of the younger streamers had to even move back home to live with their parents.

These failed channels had been trying hard to promote and had many social media accounts across the gambling community. With these accounts no longer having any use, the streamers used them to vent their anger. They don’t want to feel like a failure so accuse the streaming community of being frauds working with the casinos. This again adds more fuel to the accusations against Roshtein.

Despite all this, people are still enjoying Roshtein’s streams and he has now become very experienced and creating better content than ever before. He is pulling in serious numbers and now in a position to start making lucrative exclusivity deals with casinos. With this added wealth he can now afford to comfortably play at larger stakes than any other streamer.

And so here we go again. Now Roshtein is accused by the other streamers of using fake money and the whole idea that Roshtein is a fraud is reenforced. People who have never even watched Roshtein now accept he’s a fraud and there is evidence of that in this very thread.

The firehosing technique is so powerful that no amount of evidence could convince them otherwise but instead they will look for confirmation bias. It is the same technique used by politicians on Twitter were by if you repeat a false statement enough times, people will accept it as the truth and defend it.

That is what I believe has happened with Roshtein. He is now becoming one of the most popular streamers on all of twitch and has attracted a new generation to online casinos. His streams are getting 100,000 of hits which no one ever believed possible. He is now even getting his very own slot machine in what must be a very lucrative business deal.

The real reason none of you here like Roshtein is because Casinomeister is a dinosaur and you’re all old as shit. A site that has for too many years rested on its laurels and failed to utilise social media to attract younger member. You are not suppose to like Roshtein in the same way a young person doesn’t enjoy political debates.

You need to ask yourselves, why should anyone even care about @Casinomeister opinion anyway? Where’s the credibility? This is a site that gave Roshtein an award for being “fake fake fake”.

We live in a world of entertainment with smartphones, gaming and social media. Who would ever want to come to this forum? It’s become a place for old friends to hang out and members are on first name terms with one another. The whole place feels like it needs a major injection of viagra to bring it back to life.

As an older generation your job should be to help protect the younger generation from the dangers of gambling and that includes Roshtein himself. It is a valid argument that he might cause harm to both himself and others as they haven’t learnt the lessons you have. But no young person would visit a site like this because there’s nothing fun about it. Someone comes along that dared to have an opinion outside of the hive mind and gets attacked by aggressive posts from a mod.

I imagine Roshtein is simply too busy and enjoying life to care what the OAPs over at Casinomeister think of him.

Well, it appears BTG didn't want the game associated with him too much, so it has been changed:

Are you the PR department for Rosh?

Calling us old as shit and CM a dinosaur is not cool. Irrespective what you think about CM and its reach - You found it didn't you?

Nate

Hey!! How'd I get dragged into this!

And anyway, don't know about the other two. I'm innocent! Plus 41 is a fine age, I'm in my prime!

Hey - I am a Paleo Meister (Means REALLY REALLY OLD) - Thanks CM...

You're an old goat too man... You have no social media presence. You don't even have an account on that place (with the blue bird) where people tweep each other... What's it called? Flipper or something?

You are a complete and utter prat if u think any of us care what rosh-mong thinks of us the man is an idiot and a fraud and it’s pricks like you feeding his ego which prolongs the torture of threads like this.
Run along groupie your hero is spinning some fake cash..

As a man of 46 whose YouTube channel has garnered fewer than 2000 subscribers in nearly three years, and whose videos often struggle to reach 1000 views, and who routinely makes content covering obscure compensated UK fruit machines released in 1992, or playing low volatility slots on 20p stakes - I find the suggestion that there's any mystery around my lack of success extremely offensive.

Anyway, time for my afternoon cup of Ovaltine and a chocolate digestive biscuit.
